Is it possible to display the current time, without having to repeatly use the system.out.println()?   • How fast 3D rendering a still image per client request, in server can be made?

    I am trying to make a service that needs to quickly render simple 3D scenes on the server, and then return them as a JPEG. It should be able to accommodate mass users (client) so that it serve rendered image per client request. User-HTML-Server-(perhaps renderfarm)-Result display. Is current technology able to give a return really quickly like in 5 seconds, after it renders 3D scene like clothes ?? Thanks.

  • Increase the length of Xcode's "recent project" list?

    I switch in Xcode between working on a lot of different projects frequently (some I'm actively working on, some are old projects where I'm looking up code I want to re-use or quote in SO answers :)), so that part of my "working set" of projects invariably ends up falling off the recent project list. I do use finder tabs for the full working set of current project folders, but I really like the fast switching available using the recent projects list. Is there a way to increase the length of this list so that I can see more recently opened projects?

    I am opening links on a page into an IFrame. But if the user right clicks and selects open in new window that will ruin the look I want since it will not have the parent page holding it. So is there a way to open the page as i have it working now when the user clicks on the link but if they choose to open in new tab to have it load the current page all over again in the new window with the link they selected loaded into the IFrame. How do I test the new upgrade to make sure that the current sqlite database and property list files on the earlier version do not get deleted/overwritten etc? The new version assumes the old data in both the sqlite database and property lists remain. I have 3 files which are just plain text, within each file, is a date Date: 2012-08-31 for example I would like to get a command/script to find this and update to the current date, but the date will be ever changing and may not be known going in (without viewing the contents of the file Knowing what the date is, its simple enough with sed, but how can I do this knowing the syntax of the line I want to modify, but not the specific values. ("Date: " at least is unchanging)

    I tested my Xamarin.Forms app on iOS and Android and found this difference when I change the orientation of the mobile device: On iOS, the app keeps the current page On Android, the app seems to restart using the default page (or probably pop all pages except the first one). Since I've never seen this behavior in another Android app, I'd like to disable it. Moreover, I don't think that this behavior is Android default. Which property do I need to set the make the Android target behave as the iOS target?
