  I have downloaded a php 5.3.2. (.zip) from offical website. In directory 'php/ext' ,there are no files php_mssql.dll,php_pgsql.dll,php_curl.dll lybaries. where can i find it? • How can I convert arbitrary strings to CLS-Compliant names?

  Does anyone know of an algorithm (or external library) that I could call to convert an arbitrary string (i.e. outside my control) to be CLS compliant? I am generating a dynamic RDLC (Client Report Definition) for an ASP.Net Report Viewer control and some of the field names need to be based on strings entered by the user. Unfortunately I have little control over the entry of the field names by the client (through a 3rd party CMS). But I am quite flexible around substitutions required to create the compliant string. I have a reactive hack algorithm for now along the lines of: public static string FormatForDynamicRdlc(this string s) { //We need to change this string to be CLS compliant. return s.Replace(Environment.NewLine, string.Empty) .Replace("\t", string.Empty) .Replace(",", string.Empty) .Replace("-", "_") .Replace(" ", "_"); } But I would love something more comprehensive. Any ideas? • Dynamic Multiple Choice (Like a Wizard) - How would you design it? (e.g. Schema, AI model, etc.)

  This question can probably be broken up into multiple questions, but here goes... In essence, I'd like to allow users to type in what they would like to do and provide a wizard-like interface to ask for information which is missing to complete a requested query. For example, let's say a user types: "What is the weather like in Springfield?" We recognize the user is interested in weather, but it could be Springfield, Il or Springfield in another state. A follow-up question would be: What Springfield did you want weather for? 1 - Springfield, Il 2 - Springfield, Wi You can probably think of a million examples where a request is missing key data or its ambiguous. Make the assumption the gist of what the user wants can be understood, but there are missing pieces of data required to complete the request. Perhaps you can take it as far back as asking what the user wants to do and "leading" them to a query. This is not AI in the sense of taking any input and truly understanding it. I'm not referring to having some way to hold a conversation with a user. It's about inferring what a user wants, checking to see if there is an applicable service to be provided, identifying the inputs needed and overlaying that on top of what's missing from the request, then asking the user for the remaining information. That's it! :-) How would you want to store the information about services? How would you go about determining what was missing from the input data? My thoughts: Use regex expressions to identify clear pieces of information. These will be matched to the parameters of a service. Figure out which parameters do not have matching data and look up the associated question for those parameters. Ask those questions and capture answers. Re-run the service passing in the newly captured data. These would be more free-form questions. For multiple choice, identify the ambiguity and search for potential matches ranked in order of likelihood (add in user history/preferences to help decide). Provide the top 3 as choices. • FF extension: displaying an array of string elements in a sidebar

  I am developing a ff extension which displays a list of elements from an array (dynamic) in the sidebar. The array is dynamic and needs to be constructed in a function everytime the sidebar is opened (or any other event handler). Later, i will need to implement link functionality on parts of the string. What is the best way to go about this? I have created an empty sidebar and just know the label element as of now. menu, and menuitem dont work. What other elements can i use to display text in a good way which supports dynamic contruction. Is there some good tutorial/sample extension which i can see and learn?

• How do you use Exslt.dyn (especially the 'evaluate' method) in Umbraco?

  I am trying to execute the string contained in an XSL variable. Umbraco has hooks for several Exslt pieces, but it seems the Exslt.dyn (Exslt.dynamic) is not one of them. How do you add it in? Acceptable methods (in order of preference: Writing your own XSLT extension (possibly using existing Umbraco code for Exslt Dynamic). Uploading the XSL from http://www.exslt.org/dyn/functions/evaluate/index.html into Umbraco. Modifying the Umbraco source to add it (possibly using existing Umbraco code for Exslt Dynamic). The reason I mention Exslt Dyanmic is because some Umbraco XSLT sources show a reference that I am assuming existing in some versions of Umbraco. I cannot find it in the source code, however.   I am creating dynamic label and textbox based on the number of values from the database for the selected item of the dropdownlist. Then the dynamic labels will have the names and the text box with the values. To retain the values of these controls im using Page_init event. So im using cache to hold the selectteditem from the dropdownlist. Problem: The process is going fine. But if i try to refresh the page no items are selected in the dropdown list but the cache is not getting clear so using this cache value dynamic control are creating.

Now database is growing very fast and server is dying.. now I want to enable the Remote BLOB Storage with Dynamic CRM 4.0. for that I tried to install RBS for testing but everywhere is configure with Sharepoint 2010 not with Dynamic Crm. Does anybody know how to install and configure with Dyanmic CRM 4.0? Does RBS with Standard Edition of SQL Server 2008? • Faster way of initializing arrays in Delphi

  I'm trying to squeeze every bit of performance in my Delphi application and now I came to a procedure which works with dynamic arrays. The slowest line in it is SetLength(Result, Len); which is used to initialize the dynamic array. When I look at the code for the SetLength procedure I see that it is far from optimal. The call sequence is as follows: _DynArraySetLength - DynArraySetLength DynArraySetLength gets the array length (which is zero for initialization) and then uses ReallocMem which is also unnecessary for initilization. I was doing SetLength to initialize dynamic array all the time. Maybe I'm missing something? Is there a faster way to do this?

  Hi I am trying to create simple application that would be able to search people on facebook using given e-mail. I am already able to log into an account using the HTMLunit tool and even create a page, which should throw result of my search. But when I try to print the result as XML the file is missing some blocks of javascript results (I can tell that they are missing by comparing file created by my application and source code, that can be viewed by using IE) Is there any way around this? I just need to get the same result IE's showsource function does. Thanks a lot.   Hello everyone Masters Of Web Delevopment :) I have a piece of PHP script that fetches last 10 played songs from my winamp. This script is inside file (lets call it "lastplayed.php") which is included in my site with php include function inside a "div". My site is on UTF-8 encoding. The problem is that some songs titles are in Windows-1251 encoding. And in my site they displays like "??????"... Is there any known way to tell to this div with included "lastplayed.php" in it, to be with windows-1251 encoding? Or any other suggestions? P.S: The file with fetching script a.k.a. "lastplayed.php", is converted to UTF-8. But if it is ANCII it's the same result. I try to put and meta tag with windows-1251 between head tag but nothing happens again.   Hey! I've got a quick question about the jQuery UI DatePicker. When I load the page, defaultDate: 0 will work fine with selecting the current day's date. I would like to create a 'fake' click on the date so it will execute my JavaScript function and retrieve information from the database.   I am working on a site http://tapasya.co.in where i just impemented mootools slideshow. But I noticed that menubar that i was using stopped working, it was supposed to drop horizontaly but it is not being displayed now. I have used jquery for it. Please see the source of the web page. What can be the problem ? Mootools conflicting with javascript or some other problem. • A little bit of Ajax goes a long way

  ..except when you're having problems. My problem is this: I have a hierarchical list of categories stored in a database which I wish to output in a dropdown list. The hierarchy comes into place when the subcategories are to be displayed, which are dependent on a parent id (which equals out to the first seven or so main categories listed). My thoughts are relatively simple: when the user clicks the dynamically allocated list of main categories, they are clicking on an option tag. For each option tag, an id (i.e., the parent) is listed in the value attribute, as well as an argument which is sent to a Javascript function which then uses AJAX to get the data via PHP and sends it to my 'javascript.php' file. The file then does magic, and populates the subcategory list, which is dependent on the main category selected. I believe I have the idea down, it's just that I'm implementing the solution improperly, for some reason. • Problem Implementing StructureMap in VB.Net Conversion of SharpArchitecture

  I work in a VB.Net environment and have recently been tasked with creating an MVC enviroment to use as a base to work from. I decided to convert the latest SharpArchitecture release (Q3 2009) into VB, which on the whole has gone fine after a bit of hair pulling. I came across a problem with Castle Windsor where my custom repository interface (lives in the core/domain project) that was reference in the constructor of my test controller was not getting injected with the concrete implementation (from the data project). I hit a brick wall with this so basically decided to switch out Castle Windsor for StructureMap. I think I have implemented this ok as everything compiles and runs and my controller ran ok when referencing a custom repository interface. It appears now that I have/or cannot now setup my generic interfaces up properly (I hope this makes sense so far as I am new to all this).   I want to write a module (framework specific), that would wrap and extend Facebook PHP-sdk (https://github.com/facebook/php-sdk/). My problem is - how to organize classes, in a nice way. So getting into details - Facebook PHP-sdk consists of two classes: BaseFacebook - abstract class with all the stuff sdk does Facebook - extends BaseFacebook, and implements parent abstract persistance-related methods with default session usage Now I have some functionality to add: Facebook class substitution, integrated with framework session class shorthand methods, that run api calls, I use mostly (through BaseFacebook::api()), authorization methods, so i don't have to rewrite this logic every time, configuration, sucked up from framework classes, insted of passed as params caching, integrated with framework cache module I know something has gone very wrong, because I have too much inheritance that doesn't look very normal.Wrapping everything in one "complex extension" class also seems too much. I think I should have few working togheter classes - but i get into problems like: if cache class doesn't really extend and override BaseFacebook::api() method - shorthand and authentication classes won't be able to use the caching. Maybe some kind of a pattern would be right in here? How would you organize these classes and their dependencies? So again, this works but I'm just asking about patterns / ways of doing this in a cleaner and smarter way.

• Problem with socket communication between C# and Flex

  Hi all, I am implementing a simulated b/s stock data system. I am using flex and c# for client and server sides. I found flash has a security policy and I handled the policy-file-request in my server code. But seems it doesn't work, because the code jumped out at "socket.Receive(b)" after connection. I've tried sending message on client in the connection handler, in that case the server can receive correct message. But the auto-generated "policy-file-request" can never be received, and the client can get no data sending from server. • $.noConflict() not working with mootools slide show. Need help !

  I am working on a site http://tapasya.co.in where i just impemented mootools slideshow. But I noticed that menubar that i was using stopped working, it was supposed to drop horizontaly but it is not being displayed now. I have used jquery for it. Please see the source of the web page. What can be the problem ? Mootools conflicting with javascript or some other problem. • JQuery/JavaScript confusion with Previous and Next buttons.

  I've got some inherited JQuery code that isn't working as I'd think and I'm just not even sure what to research or look up next. The Problem: I've got a few DIVs within the HTML: a container, a "frame" and the content. If the content is longer than the frame, it's cut off using overflow:hidden and a Next - button appears. The next button works correctly. However, there's also a previous button with similar code, but it does not work as expected and just displays whenever the next button does. Whenever either button is hidden, it will not reappear again when navigating back through the "pages". When the I may be overlooking something in the code, but here it is in full. • How to use objects as modules/functors in Scala?

I want to be able to mix expressions of the same calculus but not be allowed to mix expressions of different ones. So far, so good. I can create my calculus instances, but problem is that I can not write functions in other classes that manipulate them. For example, I am trying to create a parser to read expressions from a file and return them; I also was trying to write an random expression generator to use in my tests with ScalaCheck. Turns out that every time a function generates an Expr object I can't use it outside the function. Even if I create the Calculus instance and pass it as an argument to the function that will in turn generate the Expr objects, the return of the function is not recognized as being of the same type of the objects created outside the function. The proposed solution was to change the signature of the function to: def genRndExpr[E, C <: Calculus[E]](c: C, level: Int): C#Expr I changed the signature for all the functions involved: getRndExpr, getRndVal and getRndVar. And I got the same error message everywhere I call these functions and got the following error message: error: inferred type arguments [Nothing,C] do not conform to method genRndVar's type parameter bounds [E,C genRndVar(c) Since the compiler seemed to be unable to figure out the right types I changed all function call to be like below: case 0 => new c.Neg(genRndExpr[E,C](c, level+1)) After this, on the first 2 function calls (genRndVal and genRndVar) there were no compiling error, but on the following 3 calls (recursive calls to genRndExpr), where the return of the function is used to build a new Expr object I got the following error: error: type mismatch; found : C#Expr required: c.Expr case 0 = new c.Neg(genRndExpr[E,C](c, level+1)) So, again, I'm stuck.
