  • Software to convert .m2ts to .mts (HD video files)

    I am looking to convert some of .m2ts video files (about 80GB worth) to .mts format which the my current camera is produces natively. Is there any free software that anyone has used that can do this? I know the .m2ts is the container so I am not sure just doing a rename of the extension to .mts is valid. It works but I am not sure it is actually producing an mts stream.

    I like to use the following commands to manage 'TIME_WAIT', in the hope to free up resources. echo 20 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_fin_timeout sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_tw_reuse=1 sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_tw_recycle=1 I found something interesting while doing a tcpdump. Sometimes if a client makes a connection (syn), the server will not reply (syn -ack). My question is, could it be because of the top three commands.

  • Shut down windows service based on load

    Hello, I was wondering if there are any free / open source solutions that will start and stop a windows service based on load? I have some pubsub subscriber services that do background work which is not critical. Ideally i would like tot be able to automate things so that these services could start if memory/cpu/disk i/o was under a certain threshold and stop gracefully if that threshold was met.     Development of the free application Putty Connection Manager that can display more than one Putty sessions stopped in 2009, and it sometimes triggers this error when I double-click on any host in the right hand-side list: PuTTY Connection Manager/An unexpected error occured : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. When that happens, I have to reboot :-/ Does someone know of an alternative? Thank you.
