• Insert error when sending post array to activerecord

  I am using CodeIgniter + phpActiveRecord. I am getting all the records from the $_POST array and I want to send that same array to my activeRecord class to insert the data into the DB. This line doesn't seem to be working but I can't get the error because the page is just blank: Car::create($this->input->post()); If the names of the fields are equal to the names of the columns in the table, should it what I pasted above work? ==========SOLVED======== It is possible to do it, and in the model of the object one can add var $name_of_the_field_which_you_don't_process = FALSE; And that's it.

• Auto Generated - CREATE Table Script in SQL 2008 throws error

  I scripted the tables in my dev database using SQL 2008 - generate scripts option (Datbase-right click-Tasks-Generate Scripts) and ran it on the staging database, but the script throws the below error for each table Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 1 Incorrect syntax near '('. Msg 319, Level 15, State 1, Line 15 Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'with'. If this statement is a common table expression, an xmlnamespaces clause or a change tracking context clause, the previous statement must be terminated with a semicolon. The dialog bit is basically adapted from the jQuery example here: http://jqueryui.com/demos/dialog/#modal All of it works fine up until the last line. Firefox throws an error that simply says "$(" for that line. Anyone know what might be causing this?

  I have a stored procedure in Oracle 9i which inserts records in a table. The table has a primary key built to ensure duplicte rows doesnot exists. I am trying to insert a record by calling this stored procedure and it works first time properly. I am again trying to insert a duplicate record and expecting unique constraint violation error. But I am getting ORA-01401 inserted value too large for column I knew its meaning but my query is , if the value inserted is really large then how it got successful in the first attempt.

  I'm new to PHP sessions and I've come across the following error: Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at somefile:someline). The session_start(); is the very first thing in all of my code. I'm not sure what the problem is. It gave me line numbers but all I do on those lines is start the session. Also - I have a portion of code whose POST action is another PHP page. How can I set a $_SESSION variable pertaining to this page within that action page?

• Visual Studio 2008 error while debugging an app with "uiAccess=true" in the manifest

  I have a C# WinForms application that has "uiAccess" set to "True" in it's manifest file. When I try to start/debug it in Visual Studio 2008 SP1 under Windows 7 x64 (RTM) I get this error: Running an Accessibility application requires following the steps described in Help. The help button is a broken link, and clicking ok just closes the application. It is digitally signed, and I can start it just fine in Windows Explorer.   I am trying to deploy my ASP.NET Application which is currently running on Windows Server 2003 32bit and IIS6 to a new Server running Windows Server 2008 R2 and IIS7. My application uses ASP.NET version 4.0 and is working fine on 2003 machine. My problem is: I have deployed the application and it is working fine except that the .flv video is not playing in browser I have added all required mime settings but still no luck when i try to run the video i don't get any error just a blank screen showing no video. Same configuration is working on previous machine and the new server is also able to play the video when run from the earlier machine. Please if you have any solution help me out.

• Linking Error: undefined reference to `MPI_Init' on Windows 7

  I am using OpenMPI library to write a program to run on Windows 7. I compile and build with C Free 4.0, Mingw. Compiling is Ok but when the compiler links object, errors "undefined reference to ..." occurs. I have set the environment already: I added OpenMPI lib, include and bin folder into C Free Build Directories. I added them into Windows environment variables too. But the error still occurs. Can anyone tell me how to fix it? Thanks a lot.

• aspx page gives viewstate error

  Hi, I have a simple aspx page with one grid view. When deployed on server, and accessed through that machine, it works fine. However, when connected through load balancer, we get this error ( when click on any button). The page however refreshes when pressed F5. Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster. Any idea what is happening here???

  I'm running a web service which runs algorithms that serve millions of calls daily and run some background processing as well. Every now and than I see "Too many connections" error in attempts to connect to the MySQL box" for a few seconds. However this is not necessarily attributed to high traffic times or anything I can put my finger on. I want to find the bottleneck causing it. Other than in the specific times this happens the server isn't too loaded in terms of CPU and Memory, and has 2-3 connections (threads) open and everything works smoothly. (I use Zabbix for monitoring) Any creative ideas on how to trace it?

• Display error when entire form is blank in CodeIgniter

  I'm trying to create a fairly simple form that has a few checkboxes and input fields and a textarea. Nothing is required by itself; however, if 'A' checkbox is checked, then 'A' input field is required (and so on for the couple other checkboxes I have). I have the above functionality in place, but I'm having a tough time figuring out how to have an error returned if the form is submitted blank (since nothing is required by default). Does anyone know of an easy-ish solution for this? It seems like it should be so simple... Thanks

I need to get entries that already exist so that they can be placed in the work of the day. • ColdFusion Timeout Error

  I have a scheduled task that runs once a day that builds an XML file that I pass off to another group. Recently the amount of data has greatly increased and is now causing the task to time out (I think). I have tried to optimize my script as much as possible but with no luck. It times out long before an hour and I don't get any kind of ColdFusion error. Instead I get a "This page cannot be found" after it runs. Could this be a timeout someplace other than Coldfusion?   My search server 2008 express crawls 3 sharepoint servers and 1 windows file server. The file server and 2 other sharepoint server crawl all content and master and sub sites just fine. On the 3rd sharepoint server the default site crawl just fine...The second web application site (content database) crawls the top site and crawls all sub sites BUT The subsites get the below error in the crawl log. Deleted by the gatherer (The start address or content source that contained this item was deleted and hence this item was deleted.) I have checked the security rights (OK) I have checked the setting to crawl a SharePoint site (if wrong the top site would not work)... ???? Last part = I can crawl 3 other sharepoint sites (web applications/other content databases) on the same server...It seems to be just this one site...
