  • Uploading files using HTML file input on iphone

    I am creating a web form for uploading small movie clips to a HTTP server. However, while my HTML file input control gets shown on an ipod touch, the button is completely disabled and I cannot click it to upload files. What do I have to do to use the input control to upload files (e.g. movie clips or pictures) to my HTTP server. My page is XHTML MP 1.2 compliant.

  • msbuild target package not found

    I want to package my VS2010 web application project ready for deployment with msdeploy. On development machine I can do this using: MSBuild.exe "C:\path\to\WebApp.csproj" /target:package But on my build server I get this error: error MSB4057: The target "package" does not exist in the project. What am I missing on the build server?

  • CCNet web dashboard not showing anything when MSBuild fails

    I have a simple project in ccnet using svn & msbuild only. There is a 30 second trigger for svn and the msbuild file compiles a web application then copies it to a numbered build folder. When an error occurs in the msbuild task I get a failed build. When I view a failed build in the web dashboard I can see the 'Modifications since last build' section in the dashboard, but nothing else. I have to click on the build log and read through all of the xml in the error log to see what the error was. Why won't the dashboard show the errors from the build log? I haven't changed anything in the dashboard.config since installing ccnet.     Hi, I want to upload files directly to IIS7 (in this case I am using the WebRequest object in .NET). Thus I need IIS7 to accept POST, PUT, and DELETE verbs such that I can upload and delete files on the server directly. Is it possible to have IIS accept files without a a web framework like ASP.NET? Essentially I want to be able to use IIS (HTTP) as an FTP server.

    I am not interested in the technology e.g. CORBA vs Web Services, I am interested in principles. When we are doing OOP, why should we have something so procedural at higher level? Is not it the same as with OOP and relational databases? Often services are supported through code generation, apart from boilerplate, I think it is because we new SOM - service object mapper. So again, what are the reasons for wervices rather than objects?

    Hi, I'm developing a REST Web Service using a XML format response and I have some problems (Really, one problem). One of my resources has some final fields so once they're created, they can't be modified. According to that, I need different representations for this resource depending on what I'm doing: Creating or modifiying it. What should I do, give to the user different XML-Schemas for the same resource or write just one XML-Schema and read some fields or not depending on the method I'm being requested?? Thanks

  • JSF Navigation issue Facelets and Beans

    Hi, I have an issue with navigation in my simple jsf system. I have MainBean that has two methods: public String register() and public String login(). I have played with faces-config.xml for several hours and I feel like I miss something very important because I think like I have tried all simple solutions so far :). I have added the mysql connector (jdbc) to Tomcat's lib folder and I am able to register the table to mySQL databse. It even allows my users to log in to the page. The only problem is that I can't use navigation in any other page than login.xhtml. Seems like navigation is only active on this one. I tried to use * but is no joy. I am sure that there is a simple fix for that and someone will come up with correct solution soon. Let's skip all the mysql part and try to fix the navigation issue please. faces-config.xml: http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-facesconfig_1_2.xsd" version="1.2" com.sun.facelets.FaceletViewHandler mainBean dk.itu.beans.MainBean session registerBean dk.itu.beans.RegisterBean session /login.xhtml success /welcome.xhtml failure /login_failed.xhtml sign /register.xhtml /login_failed.xhtml back /login.xhtml Here the last navigation-rule from login_failed.xhtml does not work at all. login.xhtml (which is the main - starting view): login_failed.xhtml: Here I tried many options. I used action="#{mainBean.register})" method that returns "sign" string and none of these worked. There is one more file (not specified in faces-config.xml file, because did not work either - but going from login.xhtml by button works fine. I tried to manage navigation from login_failed.xhtml first, then I will apply the same rool for registration to come back to login page when customer registers his nick name). register.xhtml: Basicaly mainBean.register now calls the database and returns string, but obviously it doesn't navigate to any view (but gives an entry to database). I believe it is simple fix for most of the experienced web developers and any help will be greately appreciated. I use eclipse, tomcat 6 and Widows Vista if that helps :) Thank you in advance.     Hi, I am getting "ASP.NET Session Expired" error when viewing SQL Server 2008 reports using the Microsoft ReportViewer web control. I found this article http://balanagaraj.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/session-has-expired-in-asp-net/ which suggests to use one worker process in IIS application pool, but that may affect performance, is there any other solution for this? I tried setting "AsyncRendering" to false already and that didn't work.

    As far as i can see, i have the option of creating web services and WSDL file in Galileo. Also, Looking here there is the Eclipse WSDL viewer : http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Introduction_to_the_WSDL_Editor How can i open a WSDL file in Eclipse ? If i just browse and open the file, nothing happens. Someone please help, this is really frustrating as i cannot seem to find any information online regarding this.
