But the problem is to do this WITHOUT javascript. I'm not sure is it possible to do that, the best result i have archived is submit form using label for.

• Very simple mod_rewrite questions

  1- Does mod_rewrite means that if I make this url: domain.com/ad.php?id=8498292 INTO domain.com/8498292 that all links on my website will have to be changed to the later above? example the link: domain.com/ad.php?id=8498292 wont work now, unless I replace it with domain.com/8498292 ? Or will the server know that they are the same still? 2- Will the rewritten link appear rewritten in the browsers adress bars also, so if I enter domain.com/ad.php?id=8498292 it will actually appear as domain.com/8498292 in the adress bar itself? 3- Will images and all other related links and material on the page whose link is rewritten remain intact? ie will pictures and links still work FROM that page which are relative? • Is there a way to delete a form element without using jQuery .remove()?

  Using .remove() so that the select all check box is not submitted to the server. However, it is visible to the user as the select all checkbox is "physically" removed from the web page, upon submit. Instead, I would like removing the select all check box to appear seamless but NOT on the server side. i.e. - I would like to keep the input on the page but remove the element in the form array before it is sent. Can I manipulate the element[] array of the form before it is sent to the server and delete it there? Thank you.

  I have a classified website, with pretty sophisticated searching, and I am about to implement a function where the last three queries is displayed for the user, so that the user can go back easier through the queries. This because for each query the user has to provide a lot of input. I have four questions for you: I wonder, how can I save the actual query (SELECT * FROM etc etc)...? Do I need to add some form of encryption to be on the safe side? How will this affect performance? (I don't like the fact that cookies slow websites down) Anything else to think about? I do know a solution for this, however I cannot remember it. • How do you get the width of an element without a defined width?

  How would you find out the width of a element that is wrapped by 20 odd other elements, but the only fixed width I know is the main wrapper's which is 800px. All child elements are generally blocks, floating or not, with different paddings and margins.
