    After watching the video i am inspired to create one browser but stuck at one place, could you please help me with this. Requirement = - Like you displayed in your Video i wan create Multiple Buttons in my Toolbar which will open Second ToolBar or Popup Window. - From that Pop Window i wanted to Select Specific Button Which will open My Required Browser. Question - - As displayed in your Video i create new BUtton and If i try to open new link using that it works but now i want to display tool bar or Popup window once any one click on that button, how can i do that.The Second Tool Bar Need to be Activated only after clicking on that button. Things i Tried - - As per my understanding i create Second Toolbar and on that tool bar i have created Button, now i wan know how do i link that tool bar with my Browser Toolbar button. - I tried that by passing Signal Property in Second Toolbar in Quickly but something is missing.   • I want to be able to use the unity menu with Citrix full screen

    I use Citrix Reciever at work, with both XenApp and XenDesktop. Many times at the same time. Since the unity Menu stil apeirs on the top anyway, I'd like to be able to use it. Now I can see it, but it doesn't work.. I have to either tab me out, (double clicking the ALT first)opening another program first, or move the mouse to the left, opening another program from the unity menu from the left, BEFORE I can use the menu on the top.. (my menu on the left side is in autohide mode, so I actually like it :)) For example. I use spotify for lisening to music, it apeirs on the top menu, but it doesn't react when it click it.. I have to move the mouse to the left, open another program, then move to the top an ask it to show spofity. If I open spofify from the left menu, it hangs.. (since its hidden, and I have to ask it to be open, not reopen the hole program..) Or If I want to lock the screen, I have to open another program, (i.ex. nixnote) before I can lock it) since the unity menu is "on the top" anyways, I don't see the problem that it should be able to control such things..

  • Making document storage in Sharepoint a breeze (leave the Web UI behind)

    Hey everyone, I know many of us regularly use Sharepoint for document storage in order to make documents available to several people, have it version controlled, etc.  Doing this through the Web UI can be a real headache, especially when you have multiple documents you want to modify or upload, or when IE isn’t your default browser.  Luckily we can access the Sharepoint library like a regular network drive if we like. Open Sharepoint in Internet Explorer (other browsers don’t support the Open with Explorer functionality), navigate to wherever your documents are stored, choose the Library tab, and then click Open with Explorer. This will open the document storage in Explorer and you can interact with the documents just like they were on any other network drive J  This makes uploading large numbers of documents or directory structures super easy (a simple copy-paste), and modifying your files nice and easy. As an added bonus, you can drag and drop that location from the address bar in Explorer to the Favorites menu so that it’s always easily accessible and you can leave the Sharepoint Web UI behind completely for modifying your documents.  Just click on the new favorite to go straight to your documents.   You can even map this folder location as a network drive if you want to have it show up as another drive (e.g N: drive).   • What sorts of tools make a Django Developer valuable? [closed]

    I am a Django Consultant and I want to increase the value that I provide to clients. My first question was an epic failure according to the FAQ. So I'll try again before I delete it. What types of tools should a Django developer have in his tool belt to increase the value to the client? Would a collection of project templates be useful? Are there open-source project templates available that can be forked and altered? Is there a proper way to configure templates to include dependencies for certain types of projects? What about deployment scripts using tools like Puppet or Chef? Does it make a lot of sense to fork Django apps on GitHub and make contributions to open source projects there? Would clients percieve extra value in programmers that are contributing to open source projects? Are there industry best practices for implementing continuous integration in a Django project? I want the answer to be open ended, as I'm at the beginning of my research. I am curious to know what sorts of tools other Django consultants use on a daily and per-project basis, and how they use them.

  • Blatant copyright theft

    Found a user on the forum trying to solicit business for his website, a good user reported it and I checked the website out. Firstly and most dangerously it's attempting to sell our original software, which is open source. Our open source software is around 15mb big and he's serving a 50mb download and trying to sell it for $20. He's also stolen our CSS/images/site design in general which is all custom built. I attempted to open reasonable discussion with him, and he responded promptly saying he would remove offending materials if he could just have 3 days to sort it out which I accepted. I'm not sure what his plan was because everything on that site is offending material. Anyway he messaged back saying the site was offline, and it was, but it went back online shortly afterwards. It's pretty sickening that someone is selling open source work as their own, (the site about us page references him as the sole developer etc etc, it's unbelievable to read it). I want to shut it down, what are my options? I'm going to contact his domain registrar, web host, and Paypal (that's how he's selling the program). Any other ideas?

  • Problem using Flot charts on a jQtouch web site

    Hiiii I have a jQtouch site in dev and i would like to use a chart on it, to me Flot looks like the best way to do this (prettiest!) However if i implement flot on the site i get the following error: Invalid dimensions for plot, width = 0, height = 0 If i comment out the style sheet ../jqtouch/jqtouch.min.css the flot chart works just fine. This i think has something to do with the fact that you cannot use flot inside a div that has display:none From the Flot readme Blockquote Make sure that the placeholder isn't within something with a display:none CSS property - in that case, Flot has trouble measuring label dimensions which results in garbled looks and might have trouble measuring the placeholder dimensions which is fatal (it'll throw an exception). Does anyone now if i can work around this/fix this so flot and jQtouch work together? Thanks Hairby

    Hello. I added Orthographic Camera to my project. I want to show my chart on screen proportional. For example height is 4 and width 4 (region from -2 to 2). I set width to 4 and it perfectly fit my square in widht. but i have problem with height. The chart top and bottom is always out of screen space. Why this happens and how to set to camera view the same width and height ? Camera position: 0,0,5 Viewport have size: 571.5x497 On image we can see on vertical axis points from 2 to -2 but on vertical much more. How to make them same?   • How can I resolve exception: Error executing child request for ChartImg.axd

    I'm using the Chart Controls for Mircosoft .NET Framerwork. Most of the time they work perfectly. However, if I leave a page for longer than 20-30 mins and then try to refresh the page, I get an error saying: Error executing child request for ChartImg.axd. Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Error executing child request for ChartImg.axd. If I update the page using an AJAX update panel I get the following error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: Error executing child request for ChartImg.axd It seems that the chart handler stops after a period of inactivity. Most of the webpages I've looked at for this error are for situations when this error is displayed all the time. In my case it is only displayed after a period of inactivity. Can someone provide a better explanation of what is happening and suggest a solution?

    Hi All, This is probably something really simple, however I am quite new to PHP, and havent done any HTML in years. I need to get a PHP variable filled with an array of figures into Google Charts. My code for this so far is: <img src="http://chart.apis.google.com/chart? &chs=340x175 &chd=t:<?=$filedetail[1]?> &cht=lc &chtt=Test "> However, Google reports an error, as it stops at the ?=$filedetail[1] for some reason. It doesnt seem that reading the variable is the problem, more that the API simply cant read past the start of the PHP tags. Thanks, Rob A.

  • Google Charts Through CURL

    I have a PHP class that helps me generate URLs for custom charts using Google Chart service. These URLs work fine when I load them in my browser, but I'm trying to pull them using CURL so I can access the charts on secure https websites. Whenever I try and pull a chart via CURL, I get an Error 400 Bad Request. Any idea on how to get around this?   • ASP.NET Charting Control no longer working with .NET 4

    I've just upgraded to .NET 4 and my ASP.NET Chart Control no longer displays. For .NET 3.5, the HTML produced by the control used to look like this: <img id="20_Chart" src="/ChartImg.axd?i=chart_5f6a8fd179a246a5a0f4f44fcd7d5e03_0.png&amp;g=16eb7881335e47dcba16fdfd8339ba1a" alt="" style="height:300px;width:300px;border-width:0px;" /> and now, for .NET 4, it looks like this (note the change in the source path): <img id="20_Chart" src="/Statistics/Summary/ChartImg.axd?i=chart_5f6a8fd179a246a5a0f4f44fcd7d5e03_0.png&amp;g=16eb7881335e47dcba16fdfd8339ba1a" alt="" style="height:300px;width:300px;border-width:0px;" /> The chart is in an MVC partial view that is in an MVC Area folder called "Statistics" and a MVC Views folder called "Summary" (i.e. "/Areas/Statistics/Views/Summary"), so this is obviously where the change of path is coming from. All I've done is to switch the System.Web.DataVisualization assembly from, 3.5 to 4.0. Any help greatly appreciated.

  • Lambda Expression to be used in Select() query

    Hi, I am trying to build a lambda expression, containing two assignments (as shown further down), that I can then pass to a Queryable.Select() method. I am trying to pass a string variable into a method and then use that variable to build up the lambda expression so that I can use it in a LINQ Select query. My reasoning behind it is that I have a SQL Server datasource with many column names, I am creating a charting application that will allow the user to select, say by typing in the column name, the actual column of data they want to view in the y-axis of my chart, with the x-axis always being the DateTime. Therefore, they can essentially choose what data they chart against the DateTime value (it’s a data warehouse type app). I have, for example, a class to store the retrieved data in, and hence use as the chart source of: public class AnalysisChartSource { public DateTime Invoicedate { get; set; } public Decimal yValue { get; set; } } I have (purely experimentaly) built an expression tree for the Where clause using the String value and that works fine: public void GetData(String yAxis) { using (DataClasses1DataContext db = new DataClasses1DataContext()) { var data = this.FunctionOne().AsQueryable<AnalysisChartSource>(); //just to get some temp data in....     I am currently developing an application that uses chart control to create a histogram. The histogram displays data correctly however I would like to center the data. Right now the Min and Max are automatically set. I would like the graph to always force its to be displayed symmetrically. Here is an example of what I'm trying to accomplish. Basically I would like it to look like a normal distribution graph. Does anyone know how I can do the the following: Get the graph to be displayed symmetrically? Always show a zero line. I programmed it so that every 1 secong the Winform.Timer.Tick event calls a function that: will dequeue all data available will add new points on the chart Right now data to be plotted is really huge and it takes a lot of time to be executed so to update my form. Also Winform.Timer.Tick relies on WM_TIMER , so it executes in the same thread of the Form. Theses 2 things are making my form very UNresponsive. What can I do to solve this issue? I thought the following: moving away from usage of Winform.Timer and start using a System.Threading.Timer use the IsInvokeRequired pattern so I will rely on the .NET ThreadPool. Since I have lots of data, is this a good idea? I have fear that at some point also the ThreadPool will be too long or too big. Can you give me your suggestion about my issue? Thank you very much!   • using second level cache vs pushing objects into the session

    I have some big entities which are frequently accessed in same session. For example, in my application there is a reporting page which consist of dynamically generated chart images. For each chart image on page, client makes requests to corresponding controller and the controller generates images using some entities. I can either use asp.net's session dictionary for "caching" those entities or rely on nhibernate's second level cache support with using cached queries for example. What is your opinion? By the way I will use shared hosting, is second level cache hosting friendly? Thanks.

  • Stable random color algorithm

    Here we have an interesting real-world algorithm requirement involving colors. 1) Nice random colors: In ordeeing to draw a beautifull chart (i.e: pie chart) we need to pick a random set of Colors that: a) are different enought b) Play nicely Doesnt Look hard. For example u fix bright and saturation and divide hue in steps of 360/Num_sectors 2) Stable: given Pie1 with sectors with labes ('A','B','C') and Pie2 with sector with labels ('B','C','D'), will be nice if color('B',pie1)= color('B',pie2) and the same for 'C' and so on, so people don't get crazy when seeing similar updated charts, even if some sectors appear some dissapeared or the number of sectors changed. The label is the only stable thing. 3) hard-coded colors: the algorithm allows hardcoded label-color relationships as an input but stills doing a good work (1 & 2) for the rest of free labels. I think this algorithm, even if it looks quite ad-hoc, will be usefull in more then one situation. Any ideas?

  • GpsSatellite.getSnr() - What is the value range?

    I'm building a Sat-View that draws a small bar-chart for available satellites and their signal strength (or better: their signal-to-noise-ratio / SNR). The javadoc doesn't say what value-range to expect for the SNR. The NMEA-Standard says 0-99, but even in best conditions my G1 doesn't reach that value. I also read that different manufacturers use different value-ranges for the SNR, so is that true for android-devices, too? Or is there a unified value range on that plattform and if so, what is it? The lack of information in the docs leads me to suspect I just get the "raw" SNR from the driver, in which case I'd like to know: What do you think is the best approach to visualize that unknown value-range in a bar-chart?

I wrote the following lines of code in JSP jsp:plugin type="applet" code="drawPie" codebase="." width="750" heigth="300" jsp:params jsp:param name="user_id" value="<% =user %" /jsp:params /jsp:plugin and in applet i used String user=getParameter("user_id"); when i open the jsp page nothing comes neither error nor the chart ........ What is the problem/error in the above code snippet.....

I am wondering how can i achieve this in the android market, just like the website http://www.androlib.com/ did?
