I can run buildout successfully but when I run bin/test, I get: ImportError: No module named testrunner I have zope.testrunner-4.0.4-py2.4.egg in /usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages I also pinned zope.testrunner = 4.0.4 zc.recipe.testruner = 1.4.0 zc.recipe.egg = 1.3.2 When I ran buildout, I used -vvv and I got: ... The first problem is that calling a function [numData, textData, rawData] = xlsread('testData.csv') creates an empty matrix numData and one-column textData and rawData structures. Is it possible to create any template which recognizes a yyyy, MM, dd, hh, mm, ss values from the data above? What I would basically like to do with these data is to categorize the values by hours so from the example row of input: 2010-04-20 15:15:00,"8.9915176259e+00","8.8562623697e+00" update 1: in Matlab the line above is recognized as a string: '2010-04-26 13:00:00,"1.0428104753e+00","2.3456394130e+00"' I would want this to be the output: 15, 8.9915176259e+00, 8.8562623697e+00 update 1: a string has to be parsed Does anyone know how to parse a string and retrieve a timestamp, value1 (1.0428104753e+00) and value2 (2.3456394130e+00) from it as separate values?

    I would like to export a CSV file from my application for importing into Excel (or any other spreadsheet that supports CSV files). Anyhow, one of the cells in my table have rich content (i.e. HTML) which can, of course, contain commas as well as other HTML characters and formatting. I realize that Excel "can" handle HTML formatted text, but exporting it as CSV tends to screw up the data for importing. Is there some particular way I can format that particular cell so that imports correctly?

    I have a plain text file looking like this: "some text containing line breaks" I'm trying to talk excel 2004 (Mac, v.11.5) into opening this file correctly. I'd expect to see only one cell (A1) containing all of the above (without the quotes)... But alas, I can't make it happen, because Excel seems to insist on using the CR's as row delimiters, even if I set the text qualifier to double quote. I was sort of hoping that Excel would understand that those line breaks are part of the value - they are embedded in double quotes which should qualify them as part of the value. So my Excel sheet has 5 rows, which is not what I want. I also tried this Applescript to no avail: tell application "Microsoft Excel" activate open text file filename ¬ "Users:maximiliantyrtania:Desktop:linebreaks" data type delimited ¬ text qualifier text qualifier double quote ¬ field info {{1, text format}} ¬ origin Macintosh with tab end tell If I could tell Excel to use a row delimiter other than CR (or LF), well, I'd be a happy camper, but excel seems to allow the change of the field delimiter only, not the row delimiter.     First, I ask that you not ask 'why.' In the famous words of Tennyson "Ours is not to reason why. Ours is but to do and die." It's one of those, "This is what you have, deal with it." situations. The source data comes from SSRS report. The goal is to load the data into a database via SSIS. The hopeful goal is to avoid human intervention in having to download the SSRS report into Excel or CSV. There will be complex SSIS processing from there on out. Any suggestions are humbly appreciated.

  • How do I import facebook friends from another website

    I am looking for a way to connect to facebook by allowing the user to enter in their username and password and have our app connect to their account and get their contacts so that they can invite them to join their group on our site. I have written a facebook app before, but this is not an app as much as it is a connector so that they can invite all their friends or just some to the site we are working on. I have seen several other sites do this and also connect to Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail contacts. I dont think they are using Facebook Connect to do this since it is so new, but they may be. Any solution in any language is fine as I can port whatever example to use C#. I cannot find anything specifically on Google or Facebook to address this specific problem. Any help is appreciated. I saw a first answer get removed that had suggested i might need to scrape the friends page. The more I look around, this might be what i need to do. Any other way i think will require the person to add it as an app. I am wondering how a answer can get removed, maybe that user deleted it.

    I have a spreadsheet which really has only one complicated table. I basically convert the spreadsheet to a cvs and use a groovy script to generate the INSERT scripts. However, I cannot do this with a table that has 28 fields with data within some of the fields on the spreadsheet that make importing into the CVS even more complicated. So the fields in the new CVS are not differentiated properly or my script has not accounted for it. Does anyone have any suggestions on a better approach to do this? Thanks.

What should I change in my code or web.config to make this webapp load OK also in new 2008 server? Now I receive this error when I access the application: This type is in IMPORTS ( Dll ).     What do I need to do something like this? User builds a diagram and tags certain boxes and circles with text. User imports diagram into my program. My program processes the tagged boxes and circles and fills them with different colors. My program exports color-filled diagram. So the questions are... What graphics format supports tag-able boxes and circles? What existing application should I recommend users to use to produce diagrams in the above format? Would this graphics format be very easily readable in code to do things like reading tags and coloring in the associated boxes and circles? Free / open source libraries and apps are desired as this would be for academic use. Thank you!

    I have a dll that comes in both 32bit and 64bit version. My .NET WinForm is configured for "Any CPU" and my boss will not let us have separate installs for the different OS versions. So I am wondering: if I package both dlls in the install, then is there a way to have the WinForm determine if its 64bit/32bit and load the proper dll. I found this article for determining version. But i am not sure how to inject the proper way to define the DLLImport attribute on the methods i wish to use. Any ideas?
