  • Is there a way put a timestamp in the file header automatically when saving in Eclipse?

    I am a PHP developer using Eclipse PDT. I would like a timestamp put automatically in my file headers whenever I save the file. Maybe as a replacement of a variable. Let's say I use this header in a file: /** * ${filename} * ${timestamp} */ When I save the file I would this to be replaced with: /** * Myfile.php * 4/20/2010 19:04 */ It would also be ok if there is a macro that would add a line at the very beginning of the file just containing a timestamp.     So client gives me a string like "1,23,23,abc,ggg,544,tf4," from user 12 . There can be infinit number of elements with no spaces just value,value,... structure. I have users table (with users uId(key), names etc). I have streams table with ( sId(key), externalID, etc values). User sends me externalId's. And I need to hawe externalId's in play list (not my sId's). I need some way to store such array into my DB and be able to get it from DB. I need to be able to do 2 things return such string back to user be able to get na array from it like {1; 23; 23; abc; ggg; 544; tf4;} So what is best method (best here means shourt(small amount of) code) to store such data into db to retrivew stored tata in bouth ways shown

    hey people hope all is well.. i am trying to create a form in VS using ASP that when upon submitting a form the details will get automatically stored in an xml file which can be accessed later on a chosen file save path i have 2 files ... "Contact.aspx" and "Contact.aspx.vb" i have created the form in the "Contact.aspx" and when trying to enter the fields in the "contact.aspx.vb" i keep getting several errors such as for example... Error 5 'Formatting' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder' Error 6 'WriteStartDocument' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder'. Error 7 'WriteComment' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder'. Error 8 'WriteStartElement' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder'. Error 10 'WriteAttributeString' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder'. there is like 30 errors in total... im literally stuck out my head been trying for 2 days now and can't grasp what im doing wrong ive tried even some of the tutorials online but loads of errors... hope some1 can fix this thank you

(e.g VARCHAR) b) What type of object should I use for storing and manipulating the image (at an object layer)? (e.g java.awt.Image) c) How do I create an object of the type selected (answer of question b) from the data obtained from the database? d) How do I save an object of the type selected (answer of question b) to the database? e) How do I draw the image on a web page?   • SVG Using Adobe in IE doesn't work when loading page, but saving the page and then loading it works.

    So I'm trying to get a SVG document to load in IE. I can see it fine, but all calls to .getSVGDocument() fail, the svg onload="onload()" function never gets called and the right-click Adobe SVG Viewer context menu doesn't show up when right-clicking on the svg. It seems as though I'm managing to crash the adobe SVG viewer or something before it is able to call the onload function but after it has drawn the SVG document. As a test I saved the html page to my hard drive and loaded it up and walla - it works! Right-click, onload, and .getSVGDocument() all work. Very curious. For some reason getting the page from the server makes the adobe plugin crap out but loading up static HTML is fine. Any thoughts?

    Howdy, So I've got a simple table with an ID field that's incrementally generated on INSERT. I've set the mapping up in NHibernate to reflect this: <id name="ID"> <generator class="identity" /> </id> And it all works fine. Trouble is, I need to get the generated ID after I've saved a new model to use elsewhere: var model = new MyModel(); session.SaveOrUpdate(model); But at this stage model.ID == null, not the ID. Any ideas? Anthony

    I am making an iPhone application that loads an image from the camera, and then the user can select a second image from the library, move/scale/rotate that second image, and then save the result. I use two UIImageViews in IB as placeholders, and then apply transformations while touching/pinching. The problem comes when I have to save both images together. I use a rect of the size of the first image and pass it to UIGraphicsBeginImageContext. Then I tried to use CGContextConcatCTM but I can't understand how it works: CGRect rect = CGRectMake(0, 0, img1.size.width, img1.size.height); // img1 from camera UIGraphicsBeginImageContext(rect.size); // Start drawing CGContextRef ctx = UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); CGContextClearRect(ctx, rect); // Clear whole thing [img1 drawAtPoint:CGPointZero]; // Draw background image at 0,0 CGContextConcatCTM(ctx, img2.transform); // Apply the transformations of the 2nd image But what do I need to do next? What information is being held in the img2.transform matrix? The documentation for CGContextConcatCTM doesn't help me that much unfortunately.. Right now I'm trying to solve it by calculating the points and the angle using trigonometry (with the help of this answer), but since the transformation is there, there has to be an easier and more elgant way to do this, right?

  • NHibernate: How is identity Id updated when saving a transient instance?

    If I use session-per-transaction and call: session.SaveOrUpdate(entity) corrected: session.SaveOrUpdateCopy(entity) ..and entity is a transient instance with identity-Id=0. Shall the above line automatically update the Id of the entity, and make the instance persistent? Or should it do so on transaction.Commit? Or do I have to somehow code that explicitly? Obviously the Id of the database row (new, since transient) is autogenerated and saved as some number, but I'm talking about the actual parameter instance here. Which is the business logic instance.   • How to check a file saving is complete using Python?

    I am trying to automate a downloading process. In this I want to know, whether a particular file's save is completed or not. The scenario is like this. Open a site address using either Chrome or Firefox (any browser) Save the page to disk using 'Crtl + S' (I work on windows) Now if the page is very big, then it takes few seconds to save. I want to parse the html once the save is complete. Since I don't have control on the browser save functionality, I don't know whether the save has completed or not. One idea I thought, is to get the md5sum of the file using a while loop, and check against the previous one calculated, and continue the while loop till the md5 sum from the previous and current one matches. This doesn't works I guess, as it seems browser first attempts to save the file in a tmp file and then copies the content to the specified file (or just renames the file). Any ideas? I use python for the automation, hence any idea which can be implemented using python is welcome. Thanks Indrajith

  • What is a mantainable way of saving "star rating" in a database?

    I'll use the jQuery plugin for presenting the user with a nice interface The request is to display 5 stars, up to a total score of 10 (2 points per star). By now I thought about using 7/10 as a format for that value, but what if at some point in the future I'll receive a request like We would like to give users more choice, let's increase the total score to 20 (so that each star contributes with a maximum of 4 points) I'll end up with a table with mixed values for the "star rating" column: some will be like 7/10 while others will be like 14/20. Is it ok for you to have this difference in the database and deal with it in the logic layer to have it consistent? Or is preferred another way so that querying the table will not result in inconsistent results outside the application? Maybe floating point values could help me, is it better to store that value as a number less than or equal to one? So in each of the two examples the resulting value stored in the database would be 0,7, as a number, not a varchar, which can be queried also outside the application. What do you think?

    I have an object which is creating several event handlers using lambda expressions, and I need to remove all handlers created in that object in one time. I'm trying to create some unified static object which will 'know' which handler relates to which object and event if event handler was created through this static object.   • Problem with NHibernate and saving - NHibernate doesn't detect changes and uses old values.

    When I do this: Cat x = Session.Load<Cat>(123); x.Name = "fritz"; Session.Flush(); NHibernate detects the change and UPDATEs the DB. But, when I do this: Cat x = new Cat(); Session.Save(x); x.Name = "fritz"; Session.Flush(); I get NULL for name, because that's what was there when I called Session.Save(). Why doesn't NHibernate detect the changes - or better yet, take the values for the INSERT statement at the time of Flush()?

Should I have a column in my database for each column on the table, then say either A,B,C or D depending on what column it is in but then how would I display it using PHP in my code provided? Im struggling to find a good way of explaining this, I am sorry.

If I try to save to the same file like this: $sed -n 's/find/replace/w teste' teste or: $sed -n 's/find/replace/' teste > teste The result will be a blank file...     1) Uploadimage action gets requests from form posts. <form action="/content/uploadimage" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> It reads HttpPostedFileBase stream data and sends it to the response. I need to show the image in a div container instead of sending it to the response as a file so that users can manipulate the image using jcrop. Image source is generated at runtime. I can't pass an action name to the src attribute. Is this possible using MVC and without using control viewstate? 2) I don't want to use flash or silverlight. Is there an easy ajax alternative to the method I use to get files from user?

    I'm making an applications that let users take a photo and show them both in thumbnail and photo viewer. I have NSManagedObject class called photo and photo has a method that takes UIImage and converts it to PNG using UIImagePNGRepresentation() and saves it to filesystem. After this operation, resize the image to thumbnail size and save it. The problem here is UIImagePNGRepresentation() and conversion of image size seems to be really slow and I don't know if this is a right way to do it. Tell me if anyone know the best way to accomplish what I want to do. Thank you in advance.

    Hi there I have Telerik grid within a Telerik grid. Due to I have a different view between insert and edit mode, so as per suggested I have to use UserControl instead. Inside this control, it could have another Telerik grid plus bunch of ASP.NET textboxes. This thing works well. My dilemma is this: Scenario 1: Handling the save in the user control - OnClick event I have a button to save this. I need to get the value of the "selected grid" so I am using this snippet below and again works well. foreach (GridDataItem dataItem in radgrdTariffNetworkDistributorRateItems.SelectedItems) { string ID = dataItem.OwnerTableView.DataKeyValues[dataItem.ItemIndex]["SupplierRateItemID"].ToString(); } But then how do I get the id of the parent grid where this control sit? I use the following this event to save: protected void bttnNetworkTariffReviewItemInsert_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) the e of course not the right one though?!?!? GridDataItem parentItem = (GridDataItem)e.Item.OwnerTableView.ParentItem; string reviewID = parentItem.OwnerTableView.DataKeyValues[parentItem.ItemIndex]["ID"].ToString(); Scenario 2: Handling the save in the page instead (OnInsertCommand on the master grid) With this approach works well to get id of the grid etc BUT I am having a problem to get selected grid in the UserControl and plus couple controls value. How do I make this feasible? Logically, I should handle this at the user control level to save but again because the user control relying on the child grid I am having trouble to get this value. I am appreciated your suggestion.
