    I'm having a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to use classes in MATLAB. I'm very familiar with C++ and Python but I just can't figure anything out about how to define classes in MATLAB. Does anyone know a very good resource with lots of examples? The official documentation leaves much to be desired.

  • Yaml Emitter in C++

    Is there a C++ library for emitting YAML? Wikipedia mentions a c++ wrapper for libyaml, but the link is broken. The official YAML site only offers yaml-cpp, which was also suggested in this SO question, but cpp-yaml is only a parser, not an emitter. Am I out of luck? Edit: I'm looking for an object oriented interface, hence the C++ requirement. I know I could use libyaml's C interface in C++ code, but that's less than ideal.

    I know.. I know, it's only a few hours old. But how the hell do you get the little page tabbing/cycle (forgot what the official name is) on the top of the page under the app title. MIX Keynotes made it look like it was a control (or at least what I saw, was @ work). Anyone who made MIX or knows how they are doing this, it'd be cool to get an answer. Thanks!

  • Which ISO format should I use to store a user's language?

    Should I use ISO 639-1 (2-letter abbreviation) or ISO 639-2 (3 letter abbrv) to store the user's language? Both are official standards, but which is the de facto standard in the development community? I think ISO 639-1 would be easier to remember, and is probably more popular for that reason, but thats just a guess.     I wish to test the new features that will came with the next JDK like project coin, project lambda etc. but the last JDK 7 to download will not have any already implemented! From which build can I test them? I think it's incredible that, now in may 2010 at few months to the official final release (november 2010????) for we developers there is no possibility to test any of this features!!
