  I have used temp table in my stored procedure and unable to get the result when executing. It return result fine when running the same as query. my query structure is something like...   I've taken a regular expression from jQuery to detect if a browser's engine is WebKit and gets it's version number, it returns 3 values extracted from the userAgent string: webkit/….…, webkit and ….… [“….…” being the version number]. I would like the regular expression to return just 2 values: webkit and ….…. I'm rubbish at regular expressions, so please can you give an explanation of the expression with your answer. The regular expression I'm currently working with and wish to improve is: /(webkit)[\/]([\w.]+)/. I appreciate all your help, thanks in advance!

  I apologize if that title is confusing. This question may be a result of lack of coffee and/or sleep, but my mind is not working correctly right now. Anyways, I have an inheritance tree like such (I know the architecture isn't ideal): BaseClass GeneralForm : Inherits BaseClass SpecificForm : Inherits GeneralForm And an object like so: MyItem MySpecificItem : Inherits MyItem I have Items As List (Of MyItem) as a property in BaseClass. I would like for SpecificForm to somehow override Items to return type List (Of MySpecificItem). I feel like this is easy to do, but again, my head is spinning and I can't think straight at the moment. Thank you so much in advance.

  I do have a custom php script that validates captcha code and sends an email. If php script is sending a mail successfully then it returns "true". This is done by: if(!$Error){ echo "true"; exit; } Before returning true, I would like to execute a jQuery command that should refresh the captcha image. I shouldn't be doing this is client side as it might be risky from spammers point of view. • flash.media.Sound.play takes long time to return

  I'm trying to play some sounds in my flash project through action script. However for some reason in my code the call to Sound.play takes from 40ms to over 100ms in extreme cases, which is obviously more than enough to be very noticeable whenever a sound is played. This happens every time a sound is played, not just when that sound is first played, so I dont think its because the Sound object is still loading data or anything like that... At the start I have this to load the sound: class MyClass { [Embed(source='data/test_snd.mp3')] private var TestSound:Class; private var testSound:Sound;//flash.media.Sound public function MyClass() { testSound = new TestSound(); } Then im just using the play method of the sound object to play it later on. testSound.play();//seems to take a long time to return This as far as I can tell is following the same process as other Flash programs I found, however none of them seem to have this problem. Is there something that I've missed that would cause the play() method to be so slow?

  I would like to write a custom OpenOffice function that runs a shell command and puts the result into the cell from which it was invoked. I have a basic macro working, but I can't find a way to capture the command's output. Function MyTest( c1 ) MyTest = Shell("bash -c "" echo hello "" ") End Function The above always returns 0. Looking at the documentation of the Shell command, I don't think it actually returns STDOUT. How would I capture the output so that I can return it in my function? Thanks!

  I want to design a webservice that returns a URI to a local resource on the webserver. What is the best (simplest) way to do this in C# using .asmx webservice? Or in other words - how can I get the URI for a physical file path in a webservice? Build a URI using the Uri class and the [WebService] namespace attribute? I know there is Server.MapPath(); that converts a virtual path into the corresponding physical path. I am looking for a way to do the opposite - having the physical path, I want to get not only the virtual path but the full URI. So if the webservice URI is http://some.server.com/services/example.asmx, the virtual path to the file I want to return is /Updates/file.xml and the physical path to that file is C:\Updates\file.xml what is the best way to get the URI http://some.server.com/updates/file.xml from that information?   I have a GUI which uses a selection from a popupmenu in another callback. Is there a way to return the selected value of the popupmenu in only one line without creating any temporary variables? I've tried several solutions, but I've only managed two lines with one temporary variable: Three lines: list=get(handles.popupmenu1,'String'); val=get(handles.popupmenu1,'Value'); str=list{val}; Two lines: temp=get(handles.popupmenu1,{'String','Value'}); str=temp{1}{temp{2}}; Can anyone shave it down to one? PS, It's a dynamic menu, so I can't just use get(handles.popupmenu1,'Value') and ignore the string component altogether.)

• jQuery: how to handle empty return from getJSON

  Alright so I have a php script which gets results from a DB, and to get those results I'm using a jQuery script to pull the results via getJSON. It works perfectly but now I want to do something if the php script returns no results (empty). I tried: $.getJSON('path/to/script'), {parameter:parameter}, function(data){ if (data) { alert('Result'); } else { alert('Empty); } }); But it's no good. I've tried different things like if (data.length) but still nothing. I've noticed that if there is no returned data the callback will never fire at all. So if that's the case, how do I handle a empty return?

  Hi, I am using the django inlineformset_factory function. a = get_object_or_404(ModelA, pk=id) FormSet = inlineformset_factory(ModelA, ModelB) if request.method == 'POST': metaform = FormSet (instance=a, data=request.POST) if metaform.is_valid(): f = metaform.save(commit=False) for instance in f: instance.updated_by = request.user instance.save() else: metaform = FormSet(instance=a) return render_to_response('nodes/form.html', {'form':metaform}) What is happening is that if I change any of the data then everything works ok and all the data gets updated. However if I don't change any of the data then the data is not updated. i.e. only entries which are changed go through the for loop to be saved. I guess this makes sense as there is no point saving data if it has not changed. However I need to go through and save every object in the form regardless of whether it has any changes on not. So my question is how do I override this so that it goes through and saves every record whether it has any changes or not? Hope this makes sense Thanks

  I currently have a form like this: <% form_for @stem, :html => {:multipart => true} do |f| %> <%= f.file_field :sound %> <% end %> This outputs (essentially): <form method="post" id="new_stem" class="new_stem" action="/stems"> <input type="file" size="30" name="stem[sound]" id="stem_sound"> </form> However I'm planning to use jQuery's ajaxForm plugin here and would like the new stem to be returned in JSON format. I know if the form's action was "/stems.json" this would work, but is there a parameter I can put into the form_for call to ask it to return JSON? I tried doing <% form_for @stem, :html => {:multipart => true, :action => '/stems.json'} do |f| %> but this didn't appear to work.

• How to return an enum ID instead of the enum text in WebAPI

  I am using the WebAPI with .NET 4.5. I have a enum called DareStatus which is a list of statuses and their corresponding integer ID's. To minimize bandwidth traffic I want to send the int values of the enums, not the full text as it is currently doing. (I have control over the client so I can map it on the clientside).   I have C++/CLI code and I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite Code Coverage. The code header: // Library.h #pragma once #include <string> using namespace System; namespace Library { public ref class MyClass { public: static void MyFoo(); static std::string Foo(); }; } The code implementation: #include "Library.h" using namespace Library; using namespace System; void MyClass::MyFoo() { Foo(); } std::string MyClass::Foo() { return std::string(); } I have a C# unit test, that calls MyClass.MyFoo(): [TestMethod] public void TestMethod1() { Library.MyClass.MyFoo(); } For some reason, I don't get a full code coverage for MyClass. The Foo() method has 3 uncovered blocks and 5 covered blocks. The closing curly brackets (}) are marked in orange - partially covered. I have no idea why is it partially covered instead of fully covered, and this is my question.
