I have a simple page structure like below
/directory/subdir_1/index.php
/directory/subdir_2/index.php
....
(there are no other files in these directories)
is it possible to have 'fake/pretty' urls for the above files as below?
/directory/subdir_1
/directory/subdir_2
...
so this path would show whether the visitor typed that,/directory/subdir_2/ or /directory/subdir_2/index.php.
Many thanks

I am using Acl9 to manage the roles and I want to hide the checkbox usertype if the user has the role :customer and show it if the role is :manager. I want that just the :manager can edit all the fields and some for the :customer.
Thank you for your help!

I was wondering how I can show description text. By this I mean, for example if you hover over the Start button a small description will appear saying "Start". How are these invoked?
Thanks
I feel like there should be a simple way to do this but I can't figure it out. I have a JFileChooser that allows the user to select directories. I want to show all the files in the directories to give the user some context, but only directories should be accepted as selections (maybe the Open button would be disabled when a file is selected). Is there an easy way of doing this?
Is there any way to force a radio button or check box to show properly in a toolbar? The circle/check box always disappears once its placed inside a toolbar.
Ugh, ok. I've been up all night working this thing and now an image won't show. It's so darn annoying. Trying to get this .png image to show up on a simple PHP webpage. I just wanna go to sleep X_X

What am I doing wrong, guys? :\
Im using jquery for various things on my site, but one thing im not sure how to do, is have it show an element, then wait X seconds, and hide the element.
$('#form').ajaxForm(function() {
$('#cartcontents').fadeOut("fast").load('cart.php').fadeIn("fast");
});
That's the JavaScript that I'm using now. How could I have it (when the form submits) display the div #notice for 5 seconds, then fadeOut?
I want to be able to show information (HTML basically) over an image when the mouse rolls over the image... I know there is a .hover() jQuery function but am unsure how to use it to get the desired effect.
Ideally when a user hovers over an image it would "grey out" (e.g. layer of 50% opacity black) with some HTML like a title etc etc.
Can someone point me in the right direction or provide sample code
Thanks

I need to find out what variables and values are being POSTed to a script that I'm debugging. It's doing something strange to them, and it needs to start a session so I can't ouput them right at the beginning. I'm hoping to find a plug-in for Firefox that will show me what they are directly from the browser. Does anyone know of such a thing?

I've made an ASP.NET web form that uses the standard ASP.NET validation. I'd like to make the error summary show up in a jQuery UI Modal Message as well as below the actual form.
Is it possible to execute the script if the validation finds an error?
