problem with image gallery using fancybox jquery

I am trying to use fancybox for one of my image galery and my code is the following.. this is the code for my Gallery.aspx where it inherits from a master page... Why is this bookmarklet code saying jQuery is not defined even though jQuery is included?

I am creating a bookmarklet and the code below is not working on first try. When I goto a page, it says "jQuery is not defined". Can i use microsoft ajax tab controls SKIN only ?

How it can be done for Microsofts tab?

Hello All, How can I eliminate duplicate nodes based on values of multiple (more than 1) attributes? Also the attribute names are passed as parameters to the stylesheet. Now I am aware of the Muenchian method of grouping that uses a <xsl:key> element. But I came to know that XSLT 1.0 does not allow paramters/variables in <xsl:key>. Is there another method(s) to achieve duplicate nodes removal? It is fine if it not as efficient as the Munechian method. jquery ui css not loading and creating poblems with asp.net mvc3 page (unexpected token error)

hi, So I suspect Im doing something silly, but first off, I can see that my mvc3 project already had jquery ui in it but no theme css files. I needed a date picked and as usual needed to override the EditorFor DateTime. I started off today by just using the default jquery ui js files supplied with the project under scripts. The date picker shows up fine, only with a completed messed up UI based on Site.css. So now I downloaded a build of jquery (with the start theme) and followed this page about how to put it together. jquery-ui autocomplete with ASP MVC suggestions not displaying

I have been trying to get a simple example of the jquery-ui autocomplete to work. I have a controller setup to handle the query, and it returns the json that looks to be in order, but I am getting no suggestions showing up. But I get no joy at all. Any thoughts?

asp.net master page/content page interaction with style sheet

Learning how to do a master page in asp.net. Trying to figure out how my style sheet interacts with respects to the master page and content page. I can get HTML tags like body and the style sheet to react. But when I call the ID attribute of a label no styling takes place. What am I missing here as far as interaction? The two other parameters are integrated too like this: <root> <params> <param name="param1">foo</param> <param name="param2">bar</param> </param> ... </root> Now I want to create with XSLT a link with a new URI that keeps the existing parameters and adds one or multiple new parameters like page=3 or sort=DESC. If the given parameter already exists, it should be replaced. I'm not sure how to do this. How to pass multiple (optional) parameters to a template. How to merge two lists of parameters. Any ideas? XSLT: Transforming into non-xml content?

Is it possible to use XSLT to transform XML into something other than XML? e.g. i want the final non-xml content: <HTML> <BODY> <IMG src="file1.png"><BR> <IMG src="file2.png"><BR> ... <IMG src="filen.png"><BR> </BODY> </HTML> You'll notice this document is HTML, because in HTML IMG and BR tags are forbidden from having a closing tag. This constrasts with xhtml, the reformulation of HTML using xml, where all elements are required from having a closing tag (because in xml every tag must be closed). Is it possible, using XSLT, to generate non-xml output? Another example of non-xml output might be: INSERT INTO Documents (Filename) VALUES ('file1.png') INSERT INTO Documents (Filename) VALUES ('file2.png') ... INSERT INTO Documents (Filename) VALUES ('file3.png') The reason i ask is that as soon as my XSLT contains an <IMG>, the stylesheet contains an error; no closing </IMG>.

Create PDF from HTML page with formatting retained in PDF in ASP.Net

I am trying to convert an HTML page to a PDF using iTextSharp.dll in ASP.Net. I am able to convert the contents to my PDF , but the problem is that the Formatting of HTML page (which is inline) get removed from my PDF created. For instance I have the following code block to be formatted from my HTML page to PDF. <table style="width:90%; float:left; background:#dddddd; padding:15px; border:1px solid #000; color:#000;"><tr><td style="text-transform:uppercase; font-size:14px;font-weight:bold;">SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR:</td></tr><tr><td style="padding-left:40px; font-size:12px; color:#4e4e4e;">Name: #CustomerName# <br /><br /><label> <b>Date: #CreatedOn# </b></label><br /> </td></tr> </table> I have to format my PDF with much more HTML codes like this. I have used the Stylesheet class also, but that was not much of help.

Find all CSS rules that apply to an element

Many tools/APIs provide ways of selecting elements of specific classes or IDs. There's also possible to inspect the raw stylesheets loaded by the browser. However, for browsers to render an element, they'll compile all CSS rules (possibly from different stylesheet files) and apply it to the element. This is what you see with Firebug or the WebKit Inspector - the full CSS inheritance tree for an element. How can I reproduce this feature in pure JavaScript without requiring additional browser plugins? Perhaps an example can provide some clarification for what I'm looking for: <style type="text/css"> p { color :red; } #description { font-size: 20px; } </style> <p id="description">Lorem ipsum</p> Here the p#description element have two CSS rules applied: a red color and a font size of 20 px. I would like to find the source from where these computed CSS rules originate from (color comes the p rule and so on).

Opening a xul file in response to a toolbar extension button click

I'm currently building my first Firefox extension, and am having a little difficulty with one piece of functionality. I'd like to open a new browser tab in response to a button click on the toolbar. The new tab should contain the contents of a webpage, together with some extra buttons. asp.net mvc stand alone ascx control how do i link (css and js) most efficiently

Hi, I need some advice. I have developed some asp.net mvc web pages. Each page has a master and some ascx controls (between 2 - 6) embedded into it a js and css file. Up to now every thing was fine. In order to improve modularity, flexibility and testability the ascx's are now expected to be able to work as stand alone controls. (Each ascx has also got its own css and js files in some cases it has another control inside it) In order to meet this requirement we call the controller with the relevant parameters and it returns the ascx (partial) directly to the browser without all of the other parts of the original page . In order to get it to display correctly (css) and act correctly (js/jquery) all of the relevant files need to be added (as links or scripts eg. href="<%= ResolveUrl(styleSheet)%>") to the user control. This is "contradicting" the concept of positioning the files at the most logical place (could be the master page for example). How can I overcome this problem? Keep in mind that this is relevant for each "control" ascx file. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

CSS style refresh in IE after dynamic removal of style link

Hi! I've got a problem with the dynamic style manipulation in IE7 (IE8 is fine). Using javascript I need to add and remove the < link / node with the definition of css file. Adding and removing the node as a child of < head / works fine under Firefox. Unfortunately, after removing it in the IE, although The tag is removed properly, the page style does not refresh. In the example below a simple css (makes background green) is appended and removed. why is css not being applied to this jquery anchor button?
