    Hi, I am searching for a utility/code that could detect and let me know if my 1 minute wav file contains sound or not ? Other way, if it could detect the duration of the silence(if exists) at any position in the wav file, that would also server the purpose. Does SOX support any command for that ?     I was planning on writing some code whose logic was based upon testing the creation date of a particular file in my app's Documents folder. Turns out, when I call -[NSFileManager attributesOfItemAtPath:error:], NSFileCreationDate isn't one of the provided attributes. Is there no way to discover a file's creation date? Thanks.

    i get the following error when trying to open a second instance of emacs: File error: "Cannot open load file" , "cua" I guess I don't HAVE to open another instance of emacs (that is the beauty after all), I was just trying to keep some things separated (specifically work - like code and debug - and play - like news). Would there be any reason I could not open two instances of emacs if I use cua.el?

  • Is there a way to copy the file paths of ALL active windows' opened files?

    The context of this question, is here. I actually know the answer to my question is yes - like I say in my context, this program can do it (somehow). So the really question is, how can I do it. What code do I put in a simple batch file? (or do I have to compile a tiny c++ exe? and run that exe in the batch file?) Might this code be a solution? (.....EnumDesktopWindows?) To clarify, I know that there's e.g. NirSoft OpenedFilesView which shows allll the technically-opened files in Windows, but it's just the 'visible' user-opened ones that I'm after (whatever you can see in Task Manager's Applications tab).     I am basic - intermediate developer using php and am a little stumped as to what I have found. I need some help in understanding how to alleviate this issue: I have a page called send.email.php which sends an email - pretty simple stuff - I pass an order id, it creates job request and sends it out. This works fine when used in the context I developed it (Use javascript to make an AJAX call to the URL and pass the order_id as a query parameter) I am now trying to reuse the exact same page in another application however I am calling it using php file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.email.php?order_id='.$order_id). When I call the page this way, the $_SESSION array is empty isempty() = 1. Is this because I am initiating a new session using file_get_contents and the values I stored in the $_SESSION on login are not available to me within there? Any help? Thanks

    I have a page called send.email.php which sends an email - pretty simple stuff - I pass an order id, it creates job request and sends it out. This works fine when used in the context I developed it (Use javascript to make an AJAX call to the URL and pass the order_id as a query parameter) I am now trying to reuse the exact same page in another application however I am calling it using php file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.email.php?order_id='.$order_id). When I call the page this way, the $_SESSION array is empty isempty() = 1. Is this because I am initiating a new session using file_get_contents and the values I stored in the $_SESSION on login are not available to me within there? -- Thanks for the feedback. It makes sense that the new call doesn't have access to the existing session... New problem though: I now get: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! When trying to execute: $opts = array('http' => array('header'=> 'Cookie: ' . $_SERVER['HTTP_COOKIE']."\r\n")); $context = stream_context_create($opts); $contents = file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.sms.php?order_id='.order_id, false, $context); YET, the URL works fine if I call it as: (It just doesn't let me access session) $result file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.sms.php?order_id='.$order_id);

  • Checkout multiple revision of one file in CVS repository

    Hi, To checkout I use the following command CVSROOT="/home/projects/stuff/" cvs co mywork with the mywork directory I have text files as well as pictures, i.e., looks something like this - paper.tex - pic1.jpg - pic2.jpg etc. In particular, I am interested in checking out all the version of paper.tex over time. Is there a way how I can check all revisions of this file out at once? Or which command can I use to see when revision have been made to this particular file? many thanks for your help, Andrew

  • YUI Uploader hangs after choosing file

    Below is my entire code from a User control that contains the YUI Uploader. Is there something I'm missing. Right now, when I step through the javascript code in Firebug, it hangs on the first line of the upload() function. I have a breakpoint on the first line of the ashx that handles the file, but it is never called. So, it doesn't get that far. I figure I'm just missing something stupid. I've used this control many times before with no issues. I'm using all the css files and graphics provided by the samples folder in the YUI download. If I'm not missing anything, is there a more comprehensive way of debuging this issue then through stepping through the javascript with FireBug. I've tried turning the logging for YUI on and off, and never get any logs anywhere. I tried the rar module within the maven-ear-plugin which was actually packaging this within the ear file and the rar plugin which seems to be used for packaging a rar. Currently I am using the antrun plugin to deploy the rar file and it's associated ds.xml, is there a different plugin to automate direct deployment.

    Hello, It seems like FileSystem.GetFiles() is unable to recover from the UnauthorizedAccessException exception that .Net triggers when trying to access an off-limit directory. In this case, does it mean this class/method isn't useful when scanning a whole drive and I should use some other solution (in which case: Which one?)?
