  I have the following core data model with two entities: entity "item" which holds name, date, description and a to many relationship "image". image is optional. entity "image" holds url, name and relationship to one item. I load the executed Fetchrequest into this NSArray "entityArray" This is what I do to display my data in a UITableView for example to display title in main cell: NSManagedObject *object = (NSManagedObject *)[entityArray objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; cell.textLabel.text=[object valueForKey:@"title"]; Now I have no clue how to access my relationship image ([object valueForKey:@"image"]), because it contains more than just a string.

• IE7 and the CSS table-cell property

  So I just love it when my application is working great in Firefox, but then I open it in IE and... Nope, please try again. The issue I'm having is that I'm setting a CSS display property to either "none" or "table-cell" with JavaScript. I was initially using "display: block;", but Firefox was rending it weird without the table-cell property. I would love to do this without adding an hack in the JavaScript to test for IE. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  Using struts2 with jsp with standard struts tag libraries. I'm trying to dynamically hide a DIV on page load, but still send it to the browser. This is so I can show it later via javascript. The request objects one and two are not easily referenced via a jsp:usebean tag. • How to only show simpleTip if certain conditions are true?

  I'm working on my first jquery project and have a question regarding the simpletip plugin. I basically have a calendar where the user can click different meeting titles and the corresponding dates get shaded in with a certain color. I am then using the simpletip to display more detailed information about the meeting when the user hovers over that date. What I want is for the simpletip to only display if the cell is colored in, or "on". When the calendar is blank and no meetings are activated, I don't want all the simpletips to show. I have tried using an if statement with a .mouseover() - this works at first, when the cells are off, no simpletip. After the meeting is turned on and colored in, the first mouseover does nothing, then the second mouseover shows the simpletip, and then the simpletip remains active even after the cell is turned off. Hope this makes sense... please help! Thank you in advance

  I have an SQL query which returns a set of data (around 40-50 tuples). I would like to display the results 5 at a time on an HTML page using PHP. I already managed to have the right SELECT statement, but i am having problems to display the results 5 by 5 using a "more" button. Can you please help? Note that every time i call the query, the data is being randomized, so it is not possible to set limits and call the query again. I have to find the method to store the results somewhere, and then show them 5 by 5.

• PHP - displaying 1 random record for each week

  I want to display 1 random record from a database based on the week. I need to determine if it's a new, and if it is a new week, then select the record and display the new record. I'm thinking I can just use a single day of the week to generate the new record, either way will work. I'm really having a hard time conceptualizing how I'll store the record id and not select a new one when someone visits again the same day or refreshes the page. Any ideas? Let me know if I wasn't clear enough.

• Sorting and displaying a custom QVariant type.

  Hello, I have a custom type I'd like to use with QVariant but I don't know how to get the QVariant to display in a table or have it sort in a QSortFilterProxyModel. I register the type with Q_DECLARE_METATYPE and wrote streaming operators registered via qRegisterMetaTypeStreamOperators but for whatever reason when I use the type with a table model, it doesn't display anything and it doesn't sort. I should specify that this custom type can not be modified. It has a copy and default constructor, but I can not go in and modify the source code to get it to work with QVariant. Is there a way of non-intrusively getting the behaviour I'd like?

• Border-radius bug on <a> in IE9

  Seeing that <div> elements render border/border-radius correctly, but any <a> or <button> that has a background, border and border-radius set shows the background color or image as a square, and only the border is round. Tried setting <a> & <button> to display: block or display: inline-block but that didn't work. Is there a known workaround? What I want to do is to get the gps positions, say 3, and store them in sql db (which I'm already doing) and then display them on the map. I already created canvas, added to overlay but those points disappear when I'm changing tabs so I thought if there is a way to somehow store those coords with google map so I can retrieve them and display them nicely whenever I'm clicking the "map tab"? • Can somebody explain the difference between exceptions and errors (specific to PHP)?

  I am having trouble figuring the best way to display errors to my clients. Should I use exceptions or errors? For example, if the user's login information does not match the database, should I throw new Exception('Login information is incorrect. Please try again.') and catch it with an exception handler using set_exception_handler()? Or, should I use trigger_error() to display an error message to the user? I think the main issue is that I cannot differentiate between errors and exceptions. I have read a lot of "answers" to this question on the internet and in some books, but it seems that people are really divided or aren't sure. Thanks!

  Hi everybody, How do you use a php variable (array) inside a mysql select statement? I am designing an auction site and currently working on a page that lets people view a list of all the current bids for an item. I want to display 3 columns: amountbid - the amount each bidder has bid for the item (held in tblbid) bidderid - the id of each bidder who has bid (found in tbluser) total_positivity_feedback - how many users have left positive feedback for the bidder (calculated from tblfeedback) To find the 'amount' and the 'bidderid' columns i pass the essayid URL parameter from the previous page. This works fine. Despite this, i can't display the total_positivity_feedback column for the various users who have made each bid. My mysql query looks like this: select tblbid.bidderid, tblbid.amount, (select count(tblfeedback.feedbackid) from tblfeedback WHERE tblfeedback.writerid = "ARRAY VARIABLE GOES HERE") AS total_positivity_feedback FROM tblbid WHERE tblbid.essayid = $essayid_bids I assume that the only way to accomplish this is to make the variable contain the bidderid's of those people who bid for that particular essay? • Spring / Hibernate project with Tomcat and JQuery.

  Hi, I have a Dynamic Web Project that implements Spring and Hibernate using a Tomcat Server (v6). I'm lauching Tomcat with my Eclipse Galileo and I'm not getting any errors in the console but Tomcat is rendering my webpages randomly. The page just keep loading but without displaying anything, there's nothing on the console either. When I go in debug mode, it goes throught the right steps, everything seems alright. When I display the source code on the web browser (Firefox latest build) it shows me the right code that is needed to display the page I called. What am I not getting here? Plus when I stop Tomcat, it renders a part of the page. I'm wondering if JQuery could be the problem? The thing is that it's a collaborative project and that the others managed to run the web application in the most alright way. Please, share your experience with me.
