    I want to write a MobileSubstrate (http://www.iphonedevwiki.net/index.php/MobileSubstrate) addon that takes every HTTP request and modifies the URL. (The reason is very complicated and would take a while to explain, so just trust me that there's not an alternative). Basically, I need to know what's the best Objective-C message or C function that I should overwrite to intercept any HTTP request, modify the URL, and send the request back to the original function (this shouldn't be just the first request sent by an application, but any redirects too). I think it may be in NSURL or CFNetwork, but am not sure where exactly. This function should, when replaced, work with any apps and the OS itself.

  • How can I make these images download on a separate thread?

    I have the following code running on my Android device. It works great and displays my list items wonderfully. It's also clever in the fact it only downloads the data when it's needed by the ArrayAdapter. However, whilst the download of the thumbnail is occurring, the entire list stalls and you cannot scroll until it's finished downloading. Is there any way of threading this so it'll still scroll happily, maybe show a place holder for the downloading image, finish the download, and then show?     so here's the problem I have one form, it outputs search results after submit, with this URL http://localhost/thi/search/results?keyword=barma&search=1&minprice=nomin&maxprice=nomax&minroom=nomin&maxroom=nomax&minyear=nomin&maxyear=2010 Now I have another form, which is supposed to filter the results from the previous form by getting the current url of the search results and appending to it the GET variables submitted by this form. I tried filtering before, but that is with anchor links. How am I supposed to do it with forms? Anny approaches?

    I'm trying to figure out how to "preserve" the BindingResult so it can be used in a subsequent GET via the Spring <form:errors> tag. The reason I want to do this is because of Google App Engine's SSL limitations. I have a form which is displayed via HTTP and the post is to an HTTPS URL. If I only forward rather than redirect then the user would see the https://whatever.appspot.com/my/form URL. I'm trying to avoid this. Any ideas how to approach this?   • umbraco front end site stopped working suddenly

    Hi All, I created one webapplication and placed the default.aspx page in the root folder of the umbraco (i.e., httpdocs folder) and the application dll into the bin folder. I used the name “Default.aspx” as the other names are not working. Now the issue is all the pages are redirecting to the default.aspx page (I haven’t made any config changes anywhere in the umbraco setup) I found this root cause and removed the default.aspx page and its respective dll from the bin folder. The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. Requested URL: /default.aspx I stuck up here and struggling to resolve it.Please help me out on this THanks, Srilakshmi

  • How to access and work with XML from API in C#

    My goal is to pull XML data from the API and load it to a sql server database. The frist step I'm attempting here is to access the data and display it. Once I get this to work I'll loop through each row and insert the values into a sql server database. When I try to run the code below nothing happens and when I paste the url directly into the browser I get this error "2010-03-08 04:24:17 Wallet exhausted: retry after 2010-03-08 05:23:58. 2010-03-08 05:23:58" To me it seems that every iteration of the foreach loop makes a call to the site and I get blocked for an hour. Am I retrieving data from the API in an incorrect manner? Is there some way to load the data into memory or an array then loop through that?     I have two text files. I'd like to copy a specific part in the first text file and replace it with a part of the second text file. The part I would like to overwrite in Ep: from the start to a line which is exactly Format: Layer, Start, End, Style, Name, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Effect, Text. I'm not so sure how may I do it.     I've a domain called Modulo with some properties and a Controller with a method that create a object from model and save it, when execute save the shell show this error: La propiedad [{0}] de la clase [{1}] no puede ser nulo But if i set the constraint nullable to true, the error show again. I think that i should not set this cosntraint. The model is linked to a mysql table with all properties except id allow null. I think I am not doing something wrong here. Any advice??     I'm facing an issue with file download with IE6-8 in non ssl environment. I've seen a lot of articles about the IE attachment download issue with ssl. As per the articles I tried to set the values of Pragma, Cache-Control headers, but still no luck with it. These are my response headers Cache-Control: private, max-age=5 Date: Tue, 25 May 2010 11:06:02 GMT Pragma: private Content-Length: 40492 Content-Type: application/pdf Content-Disposition: Attachment;Filename="file name.pdf" Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1 I've set the header values after going through some of these sites KB 812935 KB 316431 But these items are related to SSL. I've checked the response body and headers using fiddler, the response body is proper. I'm using window.open(url, "_blank") to download the file, if I change it to window.open(url, "_parent") or change the "Content-Disposition" to 'inline;Filename="file name.pdf"' it works fine. Please help me to solve this problem

Where I did mistake ? Is there any solution? When I did same thing in GWT's development/Hosted mode with Authentication and Connect url http:/127.0.0.1:8888/ then works properly. Then why It create Probelm in localhost? :-/

    hey all, I have the following snippet of php code if($fp = fopen($url, 'r')) { stream_set_timeout($fp, 1); stream_set_blocking($fp, 0); } $info = stream_get_meta_data($fp); I'd like the request to timeout after 1 second... if I put a sleep(20) in my $url that I'm reading it just waits the whole 20 seconds and never times out. Is there a better way to do timeouts with fopen? If I use ini_set('default_socket_timeout',2); above that code it times out properly but $info then becomes null so ideally I'd like to use the stream functions. thanks
