  Is anyone aware of a good javascript library to obtain original (i.e. not computed) style for a given element in the DOM? In other words, something one could use to produce the results in Firebug's style tab. Like Firebug, it should take into account inheritance, shortcut properties, and all the other nuances of CSS.

• Is there a java library equivalent to `file` command in unix

  Is there any java libraries that is similar to unix's command file? ie: $ file somepicture.png somepicture.png PNG image, 805 x 292, 8-bit/color RGB, non-interlaced The file command is such a nice tool. I need something that can tell me if the file is really what I want it to be. (ie a picture, document etc) I know I can run the command file, but I am looking for a java library, not running the actual unix command.

I'm trying to create a "simple" program that allows me to create a list of video files (Youtube video's to be precise) that are then run through by my program and converted any given format to pure MP3 audio. For this purpose I'm trying to use the BASS.dll and well it isn't going so well. I was wondering if anyone has used BASS to convert from one audio format to another?   What is the easiest way to duplicate an image variable in PHP. Normally you can simply do $varnew = $varold. But with a GD library variable if I did the above and then edited $varnew then $varold would be effected too. Obviously one way would be to reopen the file or to make a new image and copy it into it.   Hi, I would like to bypass firefox anti-phishing support programatically. Not by disabling its safebrowsing option either manually or programmatically. Actually, when firefox loads a document, it makes a call to google to determine whether the requested site is phish or not. If I get when this happens, I can bypass it.
