• OSX Mountain Lion - SVN Connection Not Successful

  I am getting the following message when attempting to connect to our company's SVN repository - the same error occurs whether I try from the OSX command line or Eclipse. Any ideas on where to troubleshoot?   Can Outlook 2010 send me reminder alarms when the program is closed? If not, is there an add-on for this? Also, I use OneNote to take class notes, and sometimes, I will use the draw feature. When I close the program and come back to the notebook later, the drawings will shift and be scrambled, making my notes impossible to read and a huge hassle to fix. Has MS released an update other than (KB2288640), 32-Bit Edition to fix this?

• DSL Modem with Wireless Router

  I have a D-Link WBR-1310 wireless router and a TP-Link TD-8616 DSL modem. My old DSL modem died recently and I got the TP-Link as a replacement. With my old DSL modem, I plugged it into the WAN port on my D-Link and I could reach the internet through wireless and through the network. However, when I plugged the new TP-Link into the WAN port, I was not able to get any internet connectivity (either on the network ports or through wireless). So I plugged my labtop directly into the TP-Link DSL modem and I was able to get internet connectivity. I'm trying to figure out why my labtop can see the internet connection, but not the D-Link router. I think that the problem is due to the IP networking. My D-Link was originally set to have IP address 192.168.1.1. According to the documentation for the TP-Link DSL modem, it uses 192.168.1.1 as its IP address. I do not believe that my old DSL modem had an IP address. I logged into my D-Link router and changed its IP address to 192.168.1.2 and restarted it. Unfortunately, I still could not see the internet from my wireless devices. I've read a few forum postings which implied that I needed to setup a "bridge" between the two networks. Does that sound correct? Why didn't my old DSL modem require a bridge? I read pg. 12-13 of my D-Link's manual and they suggest that I need to disable UPnP, DHCP, and then plug the DSL modem into one of the LAN ports on my router. I'm concerned about doing this since I don't think that the firewall will work if I plug my DSL modem into one of the LAN ports. I also have a home NAS on my network and I wouldn't want that to be available over the internet. Does anyone have any advice about how I can get my TPLink DSL modem to work with my D-Link router? • Insufficient Permissions on UNC Path for Physical Path in IIS7

  I've got a multi-server setup where Server A is hosting the html files and Server B is running IIS 7.5. I've specified a UNC path for the Physical Path of the website on Server B. When I try to hit localhost I'm receiving the following error: Cannot read configuration file due to insufficient permissions I am able to browse and modify files in the UNC path on Server B. I'm guessing it has something to do with IIS_IUSRS of Server B not having permissions, but I'm unsure how to add them to the shared directory of Server A.

  I really love Eclipse (PDT)... But i'm developing sites using HTML5 and CSS3 and it mark the HTML5 tags like <nav>, <section> and <article> as invalid tags (inexistent). How can I add those new tags to it? And what about CSS3 rules? I read something about remove the "invalid tag" check... and that's not what I want. :(

  FOR RE-OPENING: I don’t see how it is “too localized”. Plenty of people like to run their own web-apps instead of relying on third-party services. If that were not true, then WordPress, phpBB, Apache, PHP, etc. would not be available for general use. As for “Internet audience at large”, I must have missed the part where it was a rule that you are only allowed to ask for help for things that applies to everyone else too; I thought you were allowed to ask for help. Besides, if someone knows of software that fulfills the question, then it is relevant to whomever would download it, and so is not only applicable to an “extraordinarily narrow situation”. (Besides, the reason that I was asking was because Google had announced that it was discontinuing FTP support for Blogger and so many people were affected—read NOT TOO LOCALIZED—and were trying to find alternatives.) Hi, I am trying to find software (for Windows, PHP, MySQL/SQLite/flat, free, open-source) to localize all of my software and service so that I can keep my files and host when needed from my own system instead of some remote computer. I’ve already selected things like web, FTP, and db servers. I’ve chosen forum and wiki software, as well as an RCS system. At this point, all I’m still looking for—actually, I still need to choose bug-tracking software, but besides that—is blogging software. I still use Blogger and am trying to find something that I can use to import my Blogger stuff and store on (and publish to) my home system. I have read of various blogging software including WordPress, MovableType, and TextPattern. The problem is that I am trying to find something that is like Blogger (which from what I can tell is not available on Google Code as open-source). What I specifically need is multiple-blog support. That is, multiple blogs ala the Blogger Dashboard, not multiple user accounts (although that is important as well). The closest thing that I have been able to find is using Wordpress categories to simulate multiple blogs, but that’s not really what I want. • Macports Apache not starting at Mac OS X snow leopard boot [closed]

  I've done the launchctl load command, the symlinks point to my /opt/local/etc/LaunchDaemeons/org.macports.apache2/org.macports.apache2.plist, but it never starts. I can start it manually, works fine after that. Just won't load on startup. My server is named in my /opt/local/apache2/conf/httd.conf, I had read that sometimes makes a difference. I've done the launchctl unload and load trick, all with no results. I'm out of ideas.

  Protocol: SFTP (port 22) I've tested CuteFtp, FileZilla, SecureCRT and several others. Looks like CuteFTP has the best throughput, usually 200%-400% than others. I've read something about SecureFtp may have slower rate from here. Can anyone explain why CuteFtp has better throughput? And, is there any other FTP client even faster than CuteFtp? Thanks a lot!

  I've found that after expiration of Office 2010 beta when I want to install trial, installation always ends up with an error 25400, even if everything is uninstalled. I've read that it's because Office refuses to install a trial after using a key that expires (like beta one). If so, is there a solution to reset that? I really need that trial. Please note that I don't want do anything illegal - I just want to use my obtained trial after betatesting Office 2010 before.

• long access times and errors in iis application

  I am having an issue with an IIS application (details of environment at the end of the message). The web site works great most of the time and I cannot reproduce any error in our test system. On the live system however with on averare of 5-15 requests per second I have a problem with that some requests (about 0.05%) will take over 300 seconds to complete. The other requests complete withing 5-10 seconds. It seem like if all the errornous requests end up with a Timer_EntityBody error in the error log. I have never seen this as an end user but I guess that they will receive some kind of error message. I am trying to find out what can be causing this errornous behaviour. Any ideas are welcome. I have read something about that there can be an MTU issue if ICMP and MTU protocols are blocked in the firewall. Does that sound reasonable? I have also read about updating to IIS 7 should do the trick. Does it sound reasonable? I think that the problem has another cause but I have no idea of what. I have tried running hte perormance monitor, monitoring for database locks and active transaction counts. I can see some of these in the perfmon log for the MSSQL server (another machine) for example: Active transactions is sometimes peaking and sometimes for long periods Lock waits per seconds is sometimes peaking Transactions per second is sometimes peaking Page IO Latch wait is sometimes peaking Lock wait time (ms) is sometimes peaking But I cannot see that any of these correlate to the errors in the IIS error log. On the IIS server machine I can also see with perfmon that some values peak a few times during a day: Request execution time Avg disk queue length I can neither see that any of these correlate to the errors in the IIS error log. • sftp and public keys

  I am trying to sftp into an a server hosted by someone else. To make sure this worked I did the standard sftp [email protected] i was promted with the password and that worked fine. I am setting up a cron script to send a file once a week so have given them our public key which they claim to have added to their authorized_keys file. I now try sftp [email protected] again and I am still prompted for a password, but now the password doesn't work... Connecting to [email protected]... [email protected]'s password: Permission denied, please try again. [email protected]'s password: Permission denied, please try again. [email protected]'s password: Permission denied (publickey,password). Couldn't read packet: Connection reset by peer I did notice however that if I simply pressed enter (no password) it logged me in fine... So here are my questions: Is there a way to check what privatekey/pulbickey pair my sftp connection is using? Is it possible to specify what key pair to use? If all is setup correctly (using correct key pair and added to authorized files) why am I being asked to enter a blank password? Thanks for your help in advance! • WiseCustomCalla.dll ? What is that?

  I have a few folders in my Windows folder (I'm running Windows 7) like this: C:\Windows\1C4551A64743409391E41477CD655043.TMP\WiseCustomCalla.dll All they contain is WiseCustomCalla.dll. I've read that it is part of McAfee antivirus or whatever. The problem is: I have never ever installed any antivirus software on my machine. What is this file and what is it doing on my machine? I am also using Steam and PunkBuster if that helps.
