• Maven antrun with sequential ant-contrib fails to run

  We have a special routine to explode files in a subfolder into extensions, which will be copied and jared into single extension files. For this special approach I wanted to use the maven-antrun-plugin, for the sequential iteration and jar packaging through the dirset, we need the library ant-contrib. The upcoming plugin configuration fails with an error. What did I misconfigured? Thank you. • storing user info/pass in web.config authentication

  Hello, I am trying to write a simple internal app with some simple authentication. I'm also trying to make this quick and learn about the forms authentication via web.config. So i have my authentication working if I hard code my 'user name' and 'password' into C# code and do a simple conditional. However, I'm having a tough time storing the a user/pass to be checked against in the web.config file. • Get from Android BroadcastReciever to a UI

  I have a reciever that works well, but I can't seem to show a proper UI, although the toast appears correctly. As far as I can tell, this is caused by Android requiring the class to extend Activity, however, the class already extends BroadcastReciever, so I can't do this. So, I tried to do an Intent, but this failed too. There are no errors, but the screen doesn't show. Source code is below, and any help would be most appreciated. I know one approach is to put everything that's protected inside /privateor similar, and then set the url-pattern to: <url-pattern>/private/*</url-pattern>. The downside to this is my URLs now looking like: http://www.mycompany.com/private/mypage instead of http://www.mycompany.com/mypage. Is there another solution to this problem, that let me keep my pretty-urls?

• How to convert html textfield/area data to server-side txt file? [closed]

  How can I make a script that will convert the text/data in a html textfield/textarea and send it to the server, which then saves it as a .txt file for storage? NOTE: I am hosting a website(for testing purposes) using Apache 2.2 on a Windows 7 machine. I downloaded PHP version 5.4.7, but have not yet installed on my server yet (not sure if I will need it, but also not sure how to install it). 1st problem: Saving text to server Html page/section with title textfield, text textarea, and submit button. You would enter a title, the text/notes you need in the textfield, then press the submit button to have it store the text in the textarea, as a .txt file on the server called .txt. 2nd problem: Opening text from server Html with list of all txt files OR textfield for entering in title, then submit button to send the title of the requested .txt file to the server, which would then load it up on the page. • How Do I Prevent Rails From Treating Updated Nested Attributes Differently From New Nested Attribute

  I am using rails3 beta3 and couchdb via couchrest. I am not using active record. I want to add multiple "Sections" to a "Guide" and add and remove sections dynamically via a little javascript. I have looked at all the screencasts by Ryan Bates and they have helped immensely. The only difference is that I want to save all the sections as an array of sections instead of individual sections. Basically like this: "sections" => [{"title" => "Foo1", "content" => "Bar1"}, {"title" => "Foo2", "content" => "Bar2"}] So, basically I need the params hash to look like that when the form is submitted. When I create my form I am doing the following: <%= form_for @guide, :url => { :action => "create" } do |f| %> <%= render :partial => 'section', :collection => @guide.sections %> <%= f.submit "Save" %> <% end %> And my section partial looks like this: <%= fields_for "sections[]", section do |guide_section_form| %> <%= guide_section_form.text_field :section_title %> <%= guide_section_form.text_area :content, :rows => 3 %> <% end %> Ok, so when I create the guide with sections, it is working perfectly as I would like. The params hash is giving me a sections array just like I would want. The problem comes when I want edit guide/sections and save them again because rails is inserting the id of the guide in the id and name of each form field, which is screwing up the params hash on form submission. • Django forms, inheritance and order of form fields

  I'm using Django forms in my website and would like to control the order of the fields. Here's how I define my forms: class edit_form(forms.Form): summary = forms.CharField() description = forms.CharField(widget=forms.TextArea) class create_form(edit_form): name = forms.CharField() The name is immutable and should only be listed when the entity is created. I use inheritance to add consistency and DRY principles. What happens which is not erroneous, in fact totally expected, is that the name field is listed last in the view/html but I'd like the name field to be on top of summary and description. I do realize that I could easily fix it by copying summary and description into create_form and loose the inheritance but I'd like to know if this is possible. Why? Imagine you've got 100 fields in edit_form and have to add 10 fields on the top in create_form - copying and maintaining the two forms wouldn't look so sexy then. (This is not my case, I'm just making up an example) So, how can I override this behavior? Edit: Apparently there's no proper way to do this without going through nasty hacks (fiddling with .field attribute). The .field attribute is a SortedDict (one of Django's internal datastructures) which doesn't provide any way to reorder key:value pairs. It does how-ever provide a way to insert items at a given index but that would move the items from the class members and into the constructor. This method would work, but make the code less readable. The only other way I see fit is to modify the framework itself which is less-than-optimal in most situations. In short the code would become something like this: class edit_form(forms.Form): summary = forms.CharField() description = forms.CharField(widget=forms.TextArea) class create_form(edit_form): def __init__(self,*args,**kwargs): forms.Form.__init__(self,*args,**kwargs) self.fields.insert(0,'name',forms.CharField()) That shut me up :)

• fql query problem in php

  I want to fetch the names of users on facebook. For that, I tried using FQL query. The code is, $result = $facebook->api_client->fql_query("SELECT name FROM user WHERE uid='$user_id'); But there is some problem with this. I guess the query is not getting executed or it is returning null values. I also tried using users.getInfo as follows, $result = $facebook->api_client->users_getInfo($user_id,'name'); But again, the same problem. I tried to display the array as, echo $result['name]; So, I tried both the codes as, if(!$facebook->api_client->fql_query("SELECT name FROM user WHERE uid='$user_id')) { echo "Error."; } I have included both facebook.php and facebookapi_php5_restlib.php in my php file. Where am i going wrong?

• jQuery ajax link, returned data includes a from that wont submit

  Hi everyone, I have a problem with the returned data from a ajax request. Basically when I click on a link it runs a ajax request to load some html into a div, that part is working fine the problem comes when the data has been loaded. Part of the html loaded is a form, this form works fine if I load the page directly but when it is loaded through ajax into the div it wont submit but the rest of the links in the html work fine. • Extra fulltext ordering criteria beyond default relevance

  I'm implementing an ingredient text search, for adding ingredients to a recipe. I've currently got a full text index on the ingredient name, which is stored in a single text field, like so: "Sauce, tomato, lite, Heinz" I've found that because there are a lot of ingredients with very similar names in the database, simply sorting by relevance doesn't work that well a lot of the time. So, I've found myself sorting by a bunch of my own rules of thumb, which probably duplicates a lot of the full-text search algorithm which spits out a numerical relevance. For instance (abridged): ORDER BY [ingredient name is exactly search term], [ingredient name starts with search term], [ingredient name starts with any word from the search and contains all search terms in some order], [ingredient name contains all search terms in some order], ...and so on. Each of these is defined in the SELECT specification as an expression returning either 1 or 0, and so I order by those in sequential order. I would love to hear suggestions for: A better way to define complicated order-by criteria in one place, say perhaps in a view or stored procedure that you can pass just the search term to and get back a set of results without having to worry about how they're ordered? A better tool for this than MySQL's fulltext engine -- perhaps if I was using Sphinx or something [which I've heard of but not used before], would I find some sort of complicated config option designed to solve problems like this? Some google search terms which might turn up discussion on how to order text items within a specific domain like this? I haven't found much that's of use. Thanks for reading!

• Static IPv6 address in Windows unused for outgoing connections

  I'm running a Windows server and trying to get it to use a static IPv6 address for outgoing connections to other IPv6 hosts (such as Gmail). I need this because Gmail requires a ptr record, and I can't set one for random addresses. The static address is configured on the host, but it also has a temporary privacy address as well as a random address from the router it seems. By default Windows uses the privacy address; it seems this is the expected behavior (and it makes perfect sense for people/users that did not set a static address, but I did!). I've tried disabling the privacy address with: netsh int ipv6 set privacy disabled This indeed gets rid of the privacy address, but I still have the random address that the router assigned. To disable this, it was said I needed to disable "router discovery" using this command: net interface ipv6 set interface 14 routerdiscovery=disabled Upon doing this, all IPv6 connectivity is lost. If I do this while pinging Gmail, it will report "Destination host unreachable" as soon as I enter the command. In the static IPv6 configuration, I did configure the default gateway and prefix length, so I don't see why it's unable to connect. Probably has something to do with the lack of ARP in IPv6 and somehow being unable to resolve the router's MAC, but I wouldn't know how to fix this. Finally I've tried disabling the DHCPv6 lease with these commands: netsh interface ipv6 set interface "IDMZ Team" managedaddress=disabled netsh interface ipv6 set interface "IDMZ Team" otherstateful=disabled Which was to no avail; the host continues to obtain and use the router-assigned IPv6 address. The router is a FritzBox 7340, which shows me all the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses that the host (identified by MAC) utilizes, but I'm unable to change the assigned address. Maybe this could be done over the telnet interface of the router somehow, but again, I wouldn't know how to do this even if it's the way to go. In short, any of the following would probably solve my problem: Change Windows' source address selection behavior. Have Windows not get an address from the router and not generate a privacy address; Have the router hand out a static address and make Windows use that as source address. Recover connectivity after disabling router discovery on Windows. Alternatively I might use some (batch, perl, ...) script to throw away all IPv6 addresses except the desired one, but this feels rather hacky. If it's the only way (or less hacky than another hacky solution), it might be an option though. Thanks!

• objc_exception_throw When Returning NSManagedObject

  I have a method dedicated to finding an NSManagedObject ('company') using a supplied NSString and, if it's not found, creating a new one and returning it. As far as I know it's fully inited and the method works perfectly. That is, until the line after the return statement, when the app crashes with an objc_exception_throw. I googled this and couldn't find what causes it, only how to use it in breakpoint debugging.
