  • QTableWidget: How can I get tighter lines with less vertical spacing padding?

    The QTableWdiget is fabulous for simple grid displays. Changing colors, fonts, etc is straightforward. However, I did not manage to give the grid a 'tighter' look with less vertical whitespace. I see that the Qt documentation talks (eg here) about margin border padding around widgets, but when I set these I only get changes around the entire grid widget rather than inside. How can I set this (with a style sheet, or hard-coded options) directly to make the QTableWidget display tighter?

  • SQL Command Result to Dictionary C# .NET 2.0

    I have a simple SQL query (using SqlCommand, SqlTransaction) in .NET 2.0 that returns a table of integer-string pairs (ID, Name). I want to get this data into a dictionary like Dictionary. I can get the result into a DataTable, but even iterating over it, I'm not sure how to do the typing and all that stuff. I feel like this must be a common problem but I haven't found any good solutions. Thanks in advance.

  • Voice transforming using OpenAL on iPhone

    Hi there, I've played a little bit with OpenAL, and I must say that it's pretty fast, even on the iPhone. However, I still got one problem. My app is recording the user voice, and repeats what he said using OpenAL. I've modified the AL_PITCH value, but it's currently also changing the speed, which I don't want to ! Is there a simple way to only change the tonality ? Thanks ;)

I need something that searches the internet for URLs only...I don't need links, descriptions, etc. What is the best way to do this without getting too technical?   • 'on the web' drupal module showing images on localhost but not remote host

    Hi, the simple little module titled 'on the web' for drupal shows social network links. It links to some images on the directory. on my localhost install they are showing but in the remote install the img tags aren't even appearing.   • Windows Server cannot execute a py2exe-generated app

    A simple python script needs to run on a windows server with no python installed. I used py2exe, which generated a healthy dist subdirectory, with script.exe that runs fine on the local machine. However, when I run it on the server (Windows Server 2003 R2), it produces this: The system cannot execute the specified program. and ERRORLEVEL is 9020. Any ideas?

I already read the example on this page, but this is only for receiving data from a RESTful-interface, not for sending new data to the server. In Java, I can use RESTlet for example, is there any possibility to use something like that for Qt, too?     I tried to deploy the sample application from this tutorial: http://united-coders.com/phillip-steffensen/developing-a-simple-soap-webservice-using-spring-30-apache-cxf-226-and-maven-2 In eclipse everything works fine, but i went to troubles when deploying the service. The cxf-java2ws-plugin throws a ClassNotFoundException for org.springframework.core.NestedRuntimeException.   • Show Visualizers Error

    When I try to inspect DataSet by standard DataSet visualizer I see this error "could not load this custom viewer". I wrote simple dataset visualizer, but error throws anyway too. On other computers with the same configuration visualizer show without any errors. OS: Windows 7 x86 (Release) VS: Visual Studio 2010 RC has somebody any ideas? I reinstall VS with no effect.
