Knockout.js mapping plugin with require.js

What is the standard way of loading mapping plugin in require.js ? Configurationless WCF using Factories and JSONP

I'm using the WebServiceHostFactory in my WCF services to avoid having to create a crapton of binding configuration in web.config. However, I'd like to expose the services as XML/JSON and JSONP. Reading: http://jasonkelly.net/archive/2009/02/24/using-jquery-amp-jsonp-for-cross-domain-ajax-with-wcf-services.aspx It does not look like I can extend WCF to add JSONP without resorting to a mountain of custom binding config. So, for those who have done it, is it possible to have a restful WCF service that responds in XML/JSON/JSONP depending on the UriTemplate, without resorting to a ton of config wiring?

WiX major upgrade refuses to replace existing file!

Hello! I have inherited this project with a WiX installer, and am required to make this version usefully upgrade the previous one! My problem comes in replacing the database files with new versions. No, the problem is not that they are locked, I can replace them manually, and in fact now ONE of them is replaced, while the other is not. Please, please tell me what I'm doing wrong here. I've tried several other solutions (including registry keys as KeyPath instead of CompanionFile) but nothing is quite working. Problem running Thinking Sphinx with Rails 2.3.5

I followed the official page setup and this Screencast from Ryan Bates, but when I try to index the models it gives me this error: $ rake thinking_sphinx:index (in /home/benoror/Dropbox/Proyectos/cotizahoy) Sphinx cannot be found on your system. Trace not working in a .NET DLL loaded from VB6 EXE

Hello I have a .NET DLL that writes to the Trace. But seems that when I call my DLL from a VB6 EXE the trace is not working. I have created an myApp.config file in the EXE folder with the trace configuration, but this does not solves the issue. I've also tried creating the Trace objects in code,but doesn't work: Dim _traceSrc as TraceSource= New TraceSource("myTraceSorce") Dim flListener As FileLogTraceListener = New FileLogTraceListener("myFileLogTraceListener") Dim tSwitch As SourceSwitch = New SourceSwitch("mySwitch") tSwitch.Level = _logLevel If I call my DLL from a .NET EXE it works, even if I dont have the app.config in the EXE folder, becusase I set it in code if the config is not found. changing selenium domain/subdomain within cucumber scenarios

So, I have a Rails webapp that utilizes subdomains for separating the admin functionality from the public functionality using subdomain-fu. So there is functionality(that I want to test!) contained within two urls(eg admin.example.com and www.example.com). I want some scenarios to run against the admin domain, and some against the www domain. My problem is that I cant figure out how to change the domain that selenium uses at any time after startup. I can put something like this in my env.rb: Webrat.configure do |config| config.mode = :selenium config.application_address = "admin.example.com" end And it will work, but only for the scenarios that need the admin domain. If I try something like: host! "www.example.com" inside my steps, well it seems to just be ignored by selenium, which goes on using "admin.example.com" Any ideas? Or if its not possible, any ideas for a workaround?

Using HandVU with OpenCV on Mac OS X 10.6.3

Hi, I've tried to user HandVU with OpenCV but when I tried to run "hvOpenCV config/default.conductor" I get a "Segmentation fault". Cannot get NLogViewer to receive msgs from local machine

I cannot get NLogViewer to receive msgs from local machine. My machine is Windows 7. I am able to get a remote machine to send NLog messages to my local box and NLogViewer on my local box shows the message fine. But, if I run an app locally, and config NLog to spit messages to my local box, NLogViewer doesn't get the messages. Visual Studio 2010: adding a service reference to a 2008 generated wsdl

Doesn't produce a app.config . In my team there is a guy who has Visual Studio 2008, he created a webservice. Then there is me, adding this webservice to a console project. Adding the service reference goes without problems but no valid app.config is generated. It's just empty <configuration> </configuration> When I disable 'reuse types' in my service reference it works but then I get an ambiguous error. Is this a bug? I found http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2159107/visual-studio-does-not-generate-app-config-content-when-add-service-reference this one, but there is no solution there, so I thought I bump the problem up again. I am using VS2008. I have a project connect with a database and the connection string is read from App.config via ConfigurationManager. We are using L2E. Now I added a helper project, AndeDataViewer, to have a simple UI to display data from the database for testing/verification purpose. I don't want to create another set of Entity Data Model in the helper project. I just added all related files as a link in the new helper project. There is no App.config file in the new helper project. But it looks I cannot add that file's link to the helper project. Any ideas?

I'm working on a outlook 2003 AddIn using VSTO SE.We have few customized windows developed in WPF. It looks there are few client machines have problem with WPF rendering due to which there could be an exception due to addin is getting disabled. I added a outlook.exe.config and added trace listeners for wpf Trace sources. I set it up according this link. The console trace listener is working fine for me. But I'm not able get the TextWriterTraceListener working with config <add name="textListener" type="System.Diagnostics.TextWriterTraceListener" initializeData="Trace.log" /> I tried giving absolute path for trace log file as "C:\Trace.log".The TextWriterTraceListener worked for a dummy wpf app with the same config. Am I missing anything here.

I am trying to get Uploadify working with Rails 3. However, I can't insert the middleware with the correct arguments. This is the Rails 2 way: ActionController::Dispatcher.middleware.insert_before( ActionController::Session::CookieStore, FlashSessionCookieMiddleware, ActionController::Base.session_options[:key] ) This is what I have so far for Rails 3: Rails.application.config.middleware.insert_before( Rails.application.config.session_store, FlashSessionCookieMiddleware, Rails.application.config.session_options[:key] ) However, this gives: kevin$hephaestus:$exposure [1035 | 0]% rake middleware (in /Users/kevin/Projects/exposure) rake aborted! protected method `session_options' called for #<Rails::Application::Configuration:0x101eb28d0> (See full trace by running task with --trace) zsh: exit 1 rake middleware When I comment out the session_options argument, the middleware is successfully inserted, but it can't do what it is supposed to. Rails Action and Fragment Caching during Development?

I'm just starting to get into Rails caching and am wondering how to test whether or not caching is working in my development environment. I have set these two config variables for both the development (temporarily) and production environments: config.action_controller.perform_caching = true config.action_controller.page_cache_directory = File.join(RAILS_ROOT, 'public', 'cache') And my controller basically looks like this (using the resource_controller gem): class EventsController < Spree::BaseController resource_controller caches_page :index index.response do |format| format.html format.xml { render :xml => @collection.to_xml } end # ... end If I do that, I get these files: public/cache/events.html public/cache/events.xml But when I change caches_page to caches_action, I don't see any generated files and am not sure how to tell if the response has been cached. What do I need to know to know that this is working? I've read the docs and related, the rails caching guides, the railscast, and a few other docs, but I'm still wondering where everything is stored. .NET WebService Custom Attribute

I would like to add a custom attribute to a asmx web service to determine if the request is valid based on the client IP address. This is a similar idea to the AuthorizeAttribute in ASP.NET MVC. Is there anywhere (e.g. a HTTP module) I can put the code to look at the attribute on the webservice and decide whether to allow the request or not? In my web.config the handler for asmx is the ScriptHandlerFactory from the System.Web.Extensions dll. I have already implemented the functionality with a HTTP module and a config file with a list of allowed URLs, but I would prefer to get rid of the config file and just add an attribute to the webservice class. How to merge two different Makefiles?

I have did some reading on "Merging Makefiles", one suggest I should leave the two Makefiles separate in different folders [1]. I don't know what they exactly do. What I want is to merge the two of them so I get only one binary. The code compiled in the second Makefile should be the result. I want to add flexibility.cpp and constraints.cpp to the second Makefile, but when I do. I get the problem following problem: flexibility.h:4:26: fatal error: ClpSimplex.hpp: No such file or directory #include "ClpSimplex.hpp" So the compiler can't find the Clp library. I also tried to copy-paste more code from the first Makefile into the second, but it still gives me that same error. Q: Can you please help me with merging the two makefiles or pointing out a more elegant way? Q: In this case is it indeed better to merge the two Makefiles? I also tried to use cmake, but I gave upon that one quickly, because I don't know much about flex and bison.

I've just read "Injecting Custom Logic in ADO.NET Data Services" and my next question is, How do you get your [WebGet] method to show up in the client-side proxy classes? Sure, I can call this directly (RESTfully) with, say, WebClient but I thought the strong typing features in ADO.NET Data Services would "hide" this from me auto-magically. PGU Tiles collision detection

Hi, I've been using PGU(Phil's Pygame Utilities) for a while. It has a dictionary called tdata, which is passed as an argument while loading tiles tdata = { tileno:(agroup, hit_handler, config)} I'm making a pacman clone in which I have 2 groups : player and ghost, for which I want to collision detection with the same type of tile. For example, if the tile no is 2, I want this tile to have agroups as both player and ghost. I tried doing the following: tdata = {0x02 :('player', tile_hit_1, config), 0x02 : ('ghost', tile_hit_2, config)} However, on doing this, it only gives collision detection for ghost, not the player. Any ideas on how I can do collision detection for both the player and the ghost with the same type of tile?
