  • How to leave the open file in eclipse tab after search?

    when we open a file from "Package Explorer" in eclipse, after we use it, it will leave in the tabs. If we open a file from "Search" result, then after we search another keyword, it will disappear, we need to see the search result to find out that. Is there any solution that I can leave the opened tab in the tabs after I opened from Search panel ?

    When I try to select the following "File Open Web Site" or use the shortcut key "Shift + Alt + O" (which does the same), Visual Studio 2008 hangs with the loading mouse icon for about 8-10 seconds then the file. But if I do "File Open Project/Solution.." or "File Open File..." the explorer window comes up in under a second, instantly most times. Computer Specs: Windows 7 x64 Visual Studio 2008 Pro Edition with Service Pack 1 Intel Core2 Due e6420 @ 3.2GHz 4GB DDR2

    I downloaded Azureus (a bittorrent client) for Debian Linux, and I notice that Azureus got my firewall (a Verizon wireless base station) to open a TCP and UDP port forwarding for it, without my having to do anything. My base station is password protected, and I'm alarmed at the idea that any random application can open ports without my knowing about it. Can somebody explain to me what is going on and how it is possible that Azureus can create this port-forwarding rule without any authentication?

  • TortoiseSVN shows red ! decorator for folder, but no files within it are marked with !

    I'm new to SVN. I'm using the latest version (svn 1.6.9, TortoiseSVN 1.6.7.18415). Some folders who a red exclamation point next to them. If I drill down, I find a sub folder with ! as well but no files within that are marked with ! (all are either a green checkmark or no icon (because they are Ignored (like .exe files) . What I've tried: Cleanup {reported success} Add {reports nothing to add. All files either under version control has been ignored per the .ignore property. Commit {succeeds} SVNupdate {succeeds} Restarted computer. Some oddities: -I had a bunch of CVS folders (these files were copied over from a PC that was using CVS but we don't need that version history so I didn't import it into SVN). I deleted those CVS\ folders and they are showing up (as unversioned files) when I CheckIn. Any ideas?

  • How can I get Dashcode to open JSP files?

    A simple tools question but it's driving me nuts. I have some .jsp files on my computer that I associated with Dashcode, figuring it would be a suitable editor. But when I try to open the files, all I get is a dialog box that says, "Dashcode cannot open files of this type". I thought there'd be an easy way to fix this but I can't find it. Nowhere in Dashcode's preferences can I find any list of valid file extensions. I poked around its resources folder for a while and couldn't find it there either. The Dashcode menubar is visible when the error is up, so I'm guessing that this is Dashcode itself complaining that it cannot open this file rather than the OS preventing it from trying. How exactly does this work? Is Dashcode really just hard-coded to recognize only files of certain types by their file extension? Isn't there a way to change it? Thanks, Frank

    There must be an easy way to do this. I build a Flex app using ant that depends on a SWC library, which works fine except that it rebuilds the library whether it needs to or not. How do I tell ant to only run the task if any of the sources files of the library (*.as, *.mxml) are newer than the SWC? I've looked at <dependset but it only seems to delete files, not determine whether a task should be run or not. <depend seems to expect a one-to-one relationship between the source and target files rather than a one-to-many relationship -- I have many input files and one output file, but no intermediate object files.     I'd like to be able to launch either the AD user dialog, or the EMC mailbox dialog directly from a Powershell script to open a specific user. The workflow goes something to the effect of "Does everything look correct on this user? Y/N" to continuing on, or to bringing up the account to edit. There's no reason to completely duplicate the functionality of these dialogs. I don't mind requiring that EMC or ADU&C already be open before the script is run, if necessary.

    I have configured numerous .gitignore files to filter out many different unwanted files from a set of about 6,000 untracked files. I want to do 'git add .' when I've got my filtered list looking the way I want it. But, then I want to disable the .gitignore filters temporarily to see what got left behind, and make sure there was nothing important accidentally filtered. I know that git-clean includes an option to ignore .gitignore files - is there a similar option for git-status? I could go through and delete all the .gitignore files, do the check, then restore them, but it seems there should be an easier way?
