• Could not load file or assembly error even when reference has been removed

  Could not load file or assembly 'Payflow_dotNET_2.0' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) I tried to reference the payflow SDK and got this error.But I am no longer trying to reference it. I have removed all references to this dll. and Now I am just trying to get the project to start in VS but I still get this error. I am not trying to add the dll anymore.If i have removed the reference to this, why am I still getting this error? How can I remove anything else that may still be causing my program to look for this file? Thanks!

  Hello! I have a localized application, and I am wondering if it is possible to have the DisplayName for a certain model property set from a Resource. I'd like to do something like this: public class MyModel { [Required] [DisplayName(Resources.Resources.labelForName)] public string name{ get; set; } } But I can't to it, as the compiler says: "An attribute argument must be a constant expression, typeof expression or array creation expression of an attribute parameter type" :( Are there any workarounds? I am outputting labels manually, but I need these for the validator output!

• Automatic website screenshots for Web app?

  Is there a way to take automatic screenshots of a web page (by specifying its URL) in a web app using PHP or Ruby on Rails? Perhaps using a plugin or some external REST service. I've researched a lot, and nothing seems to fit except something like this (http://www.binarymoon.co.uk/2010/02/automated-take-screenshots-website-free/) but I doubt Wordpress would just let me spam their servers for something not Wordpress related. I'd like to use it for my own web application so I'm not sure of the legal implications..how hard is this to implement myself? What does it entail? Thanks!

• Updating div after full page refresh following AJAX request

  Hi, I have an AJAX controller action which returns JSON. The returned JSON is handled via jQuery and contains a message displayed in an update div. The JSON also contains a flag which indicates a change in state. If this is true the entire page needs to be reloaded from a different url. This is currently performed in the jQuery using window.location.replace(url). In the situation where a full page refresh occurs, I still want to display the message from the JSON in the update div, but after the page has fully reloaded. How can I ensure the div is updated with the message after the window.location.replace call and the page has been completely reloaded? Thanks. (I realise AJAX is not intended for full page refreshes but I can't think of a simple way of avoiding it in this scenario. Normal behaviour here is updating the div with a status message.)

• Just in time debugger is popping up when debugging service client

  I have created as WCF service and hosted in IIS . This service is calling from another web application. When I am trying to debug the service calling event in the web application, the Just-in-Time debugger is popping up. It is running fine in the normal mode. Only in the debug mode the service is not running and JIT debugger is popping up also Why it happens? How to debug the service call in this scenario?   Hello All, I have a web application that has a long running (resource intensive) process in the code behind and the end output is a pdf file (images to pdf conversion tool) It runs fine..and since I am on a dedicated server, it is not at all a problem with respect to resources right now. However, I wonder that the system would reach its resource limits if, there are more than 20 users processing at a time. I have seen services online where the user enters their email and the processes are, I suppose, queued in the background and the results emailed with the 1st in 1st out method. Can someone please give me a start on how to implement this kind of logic in asp.net applications using C#? Thanks a lot in advance, Prasad.

  Hi there, I have created a custom MembershipProvider class, so far so good, however, I am not sure how to read the configuration settings from the web.config file. I tried to search from Google and Stackoverflow, seems like someone also experiencing my problem and asked, but no answer has been given. It should be a simple thing, but I am very new in web development, so reading settings from web.config seems away too technical to me.   I am trying to Add a Web Reference to http//.../service.asmx file in my project. First it gives me an error: "... Unable to download following files from: http://.../service.asmx?wsdl Do you want to skip these files and continue ..." When i click 'Yes', the proxy gets created with .disco and other reference files, but does not adds .wsdl file. Other option i tried, i used http//.../service.asmx?wsdl to add web reference. In this case, i dont get any error, but the proxy gets added with .wsdl and reference files, but it does not adds .disco file. Can someone help me on why this is happening? I thought, adding web reference to .asmx should add everything under the proxy.

  How is it possible to change the displayed order of columns from a DataTable? For example, dataTable "dt" contains two columns "a" and "b". I bind it to a GridView like this: gridView.DataSource = dt; gridView.DataBind(); But I'd like the GridView to display "b" first (leftmost). • Low overhead Java Web Services container?

  I want to provide a Java-based Web Service, but I don't require the features of a full-blown J2EE Application Server. I would like it to start as quickly as possible, though that's not a hard requirement. The Web Service will handle multiple connections and require access to an Oracle database so it will at least require a thread pool and database connection pool. I may want to put a JSP interface onto it later to provide an internal maintainence interface. I have looked at Jetty with an Apache CXF stack, but it looks like I'll have to do a fair amount configuration before even coding the web service - Will it be worth it? Will it even work? Should I forget about the complexity and simply go with JBoss/Weblogic/etc and put up with the bloat and extra start-up time?

Both created_at and updated_at fields in 'tags' table are updated via triggers. Thus I can insert a new record like such: var newTag = new Tag() { name = "some string here" } Int32 id = (Int32)Session.Save(tag); Session.Flush(); ITag t = Session.Get<Tag>(id); ViewData["xxx"] = t.name; // -----> not null ViewData["xxx"] = t.record_dates.created_at; // -----> is null However when querying the same record back immediately after it was inserted the record_dates field ends up null even though in the table those fields have got values. Can any one please point out why the Session.Get ignores getting everything back from the table? is it because it caches the newly created record for which the records_dates is null? If so how can it be told to ignore the cached version?

  Hi, Is it possible to access a parent class from within an attribute. For example I would like to create a DropDownListAttribute which can be applied to a property of a viewmodel class in MVC and then create a drop down list from an editor template. I am following a similar line as Kazi Manzur Rashid here. He adds the collection of categories into viewdata and retrieves them using the key supplied to the attribute. I would like to do something like the below, public ExampleDropDownViewModel { public IEnumerable<SelectListItem> Categories {get;set;} [DropDownList("Categories")] public int CategoryID { get;set; } } The attribute takes the name of the property containing the collection to bind to. I can't figure out how to access a property on the parent class of the attribute. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

  I have a MVC project that has a Linq to SQL dbml class. It is a table called Clients that houses client information. I can easily get the information to display in a View using the code I followed in Nerd Dinner but I have added a stored procedure to the dbml and it's result set is of IQueryable, not IQueryable. I need to convert IQueryable to IQueryable so I can display it in the same View. The reason for the sproc is so I can pass a search string tothe sproc and return the same information as a full list but filtered on the search. I know I can use Linq to filter the whole list but I don't want the whole list so I am using the sproc. Here is the code in my ClientRepository with a comment where I need to convert.   I m working on wso2 admin services. I get url as http://localhost:9763/services/AuthenticationAdmin?wsdl for AuthencticationAdmin. Now, when I hit the login operation, with admin,admin,127.0.0.1, I get true as return. ESB console shows logged in. Now, when I hit logout operation, I dont get any response.
