  • internet explorer ebay listing html/css problem

    The code i wrote for ebay listings seems to be different for the same listing depending on if it is opened with internet explorer or firefox. the source i uploaded to ebay was the same now when i view the code in firefox it shows correctly but in internet explorer it does not. when looking at the source taken from the ebay listing online the source code differs between the browsers even though it is from the same listing and same code. Any ideas on what is going wrong here would be very helpful thx. the code is at pastebin http://pastebin.com/d4ea80aa2 and the link for the ad is at pastebin as i cannot post it here. thx again

  • Word on HTML document point.

    Hey guys, How can I figure out which word is at the point where the user tapped on a UIWebView? I am able to detect the CGPoint for the tap (subclassing UIWindow like this), and I can actually get the DOM element on that point using javascript. But I know very little of javascript and DOM to figure out how can I actually get which word the user tapped on. Is that possible?     Hi, I am using an external asp page (On the company's server - not related to me beside the fact that I'm using it for my job). The asp page has one query in it, I'm writing something in it and it gives me some information. In the information there is a certain line with constant header (let's assume 'HEADER'), I want to build an HTA that pulls the line that contains 'HEADER' to my HTA and display only this line. I think that this isn't possible without any server interaction, but I'm asking anyway. Can someone think of a way doing it? Thanks, Rotem

  • Appending html code to a section inside a dialog window isn't working in IE6

    I'm using jQuery's validation on a form. When the form is validated, I'm using a submitHandler to fill a dialog with data from the form then I open the dialog to display it. Works great except for in IE6. Nothing displays. I've tried initializing the dialog before and after running the validation code but neither makes a difference.   • Baffled by PHP escaping of double-quotes in HTML forms

    I have a simple PHP script I use to front-end an SQLite database. It's nothing fancy or complex. But I have noticed from looking at the records in the database that anything I enter in a form-field with double-quotes comes across in the form-processing as though I'd escaped the quotes with a backslash. So when I entered a record with the title: British Light Utility Car 10HP "Tilly" what shows up in the database is: British Light Utility Car 10HP \"Tilly\" I don't know where these are coming from, and what's worse, even using the following preg_replace doesn't seem to remove them: $name = preg_replace('/\\"/', '"', $_REQUEST['kits_name']); If I dump out $name, it still bears the unwanted \ characters.

    So I have some code, <div class="chunk" id=""> <div class="chunkContent"> <div class="textLeft" ></div> <div class="textRight" ></div> <div class="notes border">Notes...</div> </div> <div class="tools fl"> <div class="toggleNotes border">n</div> <div class="addChunk border">+</div> </div> </div> Now, the two divs nested withing div.tools are small buttons. div.toggleNotes I need to select div.notes in a javascript/jquery function. div.addChunk I need to select the fisrt div, div.chunk. Currently, I am doing this by: $(".addChunk").live('click', (function(){create_chunk(this.parentNode.parentNode)})) $(".toggleNotes").live('click',function(){toggle_notes(this.parentNode.parentNode.firstElementChild.lastElementChild)}) Is there a better (i.e., more proper) way to do this than to string together parentNotes and firstElementChild's and etc.? I'm basically looking around the DOM tab in firebug.

  • Custom add_action('save_post') causes html markup to disappear!

    I've added a custom "save_post" action to my theme (code is below). However, when I place images or video code in the post, its stripped away. The only way I can get it to stay is to comment out the add_action line.
