    Is it possible to add a attachment to a mail with the mailto function in actionscript 3? Thats the thing, i want to open the default mail program compose window with some data but i also need to add a file as attachment, and that file must be a screen capture of the app. Im doing some research and cant find nothing even close to this, someone have any ideas?   • Still failing a function, not sure why...ideas on test cases to run?

    I've been trying to get this Sudoku game working, and I am still failing some of the individual functions. All together the game works, but when I run it through an "autograder", some test cases fail.. Currently I am stuck on the following function, placeValue, failing. I do have the output that I get vs. what the correct one should be, but am confused..what is something going on? EDIT: I do not know what input/calls they make to the function. What happens is that "invalid row" is outputted after every placeValue call, and I can't trace why..   • Eclipse: Should I create a workspace for each project ?

    I am simply wondering whether it is best to put all of my Eclipse projects into one workspace, or do a 1 workspace per 1 project. I am just a solo developer, for hobby more or less, but the apps I create do actually have production versions that are running on rather frequent cron jobs, so its almost like an amateur production environment. The only problems I have noticed so far is for exporting JARs, I have the potential to include source files from other projects which seems like it could get messy (maybe?).

  • Function that converts hex color values to an approximate color name?

    I don't suppose anyone knows of a function (PHP, preferably) that can take a hex color code and give an approximate color name for that hex value. I don't need a solution with 100s of colors. Even if it just amounted to the colors white, black, red, green blue, brown orange and yellow, I'd be pretty well in shape. If you don't know of an existing resource, does anyone know of a good way to approach this problem? Thanks in advance for the help.

    I have a Sprint MiFi 3G router that exposes its current signal strength over HTTP. I've developed a very simple tray application that displays this. However, what I would really like to do is create a custom network connection entry so the router's 3G signal strength (along with the current network version) displays when clicking on the network connections tray icon (in Windows 7, at least). Is it possible to do this with a shell extension or something (preferably in C#)? If so, how?

I used Eclipse's WSDL GUI Editor to generate a WSDL file (CalculatorWSDL.wsdl) which uses the SOAP method for communication. I also used wsdl.exe to generate a C# file (Calculator.cs). Now, I'm not sure what to do next. How do I actually use the Calculator.cs on the server and/or client?

    For class, I was told to give a function point count for Mozilla Thunderbird, however I am absolutely stumped as to how to approach this. Some methods I saw online suggested analyzing the interface of the program itself, however they used very simple methods. Thunderbird has a very complex interface and has so many FPs, I'm not sure if I could do it by hand. Some help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

    Firstly I used this call jQuery('#grid').jqGrid('editRow',id,true,pickdates);, it worked fine with UI Datepicker integration, but editRow is implemented for inline editing, but I prefer modal dialog, so I switched to editGridRow, now I can't find the way to call my custom function (pickdates) in onClick-event.     The simplest example that I can provide for what I want to do is this: I need to create a Report, whose only requirement is that I have (4) of the same subreport on the page (imagine 4 portrait-oriented post cards on a page), each quadrant using a separate row from my datatable, yet all 4 are identical in terms of fields. If there are more than 4, it needs to carry over to a new page with the same format. I'm using C# and the built-in Crystal Reports Basic for the task.

I use jquery's ajaxForm() function to re-direct the user to a different jsp after the Servlet logic is executed. But before this redirection happens I need to show a javascript notification showing whether the submission was successful or not. Can someone tell me how can I do this?
