• Adding a subject line to mail address in ReCaptcha Mailhide

  I'm not sure if this can be done. I was looking to for a way to add a subject line to an email address hidden via reCaptcha Mailhide. Usually we have a mailto tag which include a subject like so:- <a href="mailto:[email protected]">The text of your link</a> However when we use recaptcha mailhide, we encrypt the email address and the reCaptcha decrypts it for us on completion of the captcha (sort of) So nowhere am I actually setting the subject of the email. Is there a workaround for this?

• CodeIgniter won't run in a subdirectory

  I have a CodeIgniter install running in our root web directory that I copied into a subdirectory called /dev... I edited the config/config.php file to reflect the change so it is now like this: $config['base_url'] = 'http://mysite.com/dev'; $config['sbase_url'] = 'https://mysite.com/dev'; $config['default_email'] = '[email protected]'; $config['site_url'] = 'http://mysite.com/dev'; This is my .htaccess file: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L] </IfModule> When I hover over any links on the site they are correct, for example the contact us page link reads www.mysite.com/dev/contact but when I click any of the links I get a 404 error... • How to set AssemblyInfo.cs based on the tfs project build number?

  The project is hosted on a tfs server and I need to access the build number which I assume is automatically generated when ever you build a project. I need to retrieve that build number and display it on the web pages so that QAs and testing people know exactly which build they are working on. I found how to create customize build numbers in the following link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa395241(v=vs.100).aspx but it dose not solve my problem as I do not have access to the build definition file. I am looking for some kind of post deployment task which can access the build number or may be generate one and probably write it down to a file, from where I can read it. I don't know if that makes any sense as this is my first time working on .Net

• Creating folders and uploading a file without using a web browser

  I am using the Java Api We have a web application wherein we want our file to be uploaded on an on_click even on some submit button. We don't want the browser to prompt us to enter the username and password to get the access token. Instead, we can provide the username and the password through the code so that we get the access token and the file will be uploaded directly. Right now, OAuth 2 requires that we enter the username and password to be entered through the browser. Reading through the post, I see that we can authenticate for the first time, obtain a refresh token and then keep on refreshing that token periodically. But our application requirements does not allow for this work-flow. Is there any way to automate the process of entering the user credentials using Java code. or Is there any library that will keep the browser away from the process.

• Is there an off the shelf CMS that can be used as a back end for smartphone travel guide apps?

  I'm wondering if there's an off the shelf CMS available that is similar to something like Mobile Roadie - ie: it will allow you to create multiple versions of one application? I'm looking to develop some mobile travel guides for iPhone/Android/Blackberry etc, and rather than get a CMS built, I'd like to see if there's something out there is similar to Wordpress in that it will allow us to input text, images, Google Maps details, phone numbers, email addresses and potentially some audio/video content. If anyone knows of anything, I'd love to hear about it. Also, if you have any ideas regarding pricing, that would be extremely helpful! Thanks in advance for your assistance.

  I am following this article on creating persistent login cookies with my ASP.NET site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.security.formsauthentication.encrypt.aspx The issue is that when I navigate to the page, I get the following compiler error: Compiler Error Message: CS1061: 'ASP.administration_login_aspx' does not contain a definition for 'Login_Click' and no extension method 'Login_Click' accepting a first argument of type 'ASP.administration_login_aspx' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Can anyone tell me why this is. The error message doesn't really say much and I don't believe I am missing a directive or assembly reference. The code builds without any problems. EDIT: I did not include code because I said I was following that link which includes code. I copy/pasted from the example.

  So I'm going through old code (2.0) and I came across this: object isReviewingValue = ViewState["IsReviewing"]; if (isReviewingValue is bool) { return (bool)isReviewingValue; } My first thought was to us the "as" keyword to avoid the unneeded (bool)isReviewingValue; But "as" only works with non value types. No problem, I just went ahead and did this: bool? isReviewingValue= ViewState["IsReviewing"] as bool?; if (isReviewingValue.HasValue) { return isReviewingValue.Value; } Question is: Besides looking a bit more readable, is this in fact better?

• youtube video will not display in desktop Chrome

  Youtube video does not show up in a modal window when viewed in a desktop version of Chrome. The modal window pops up but the youtube video does not. https://animalhealth.pfizer.com/sites/pahweb/US/EN/Products/Pages/ClarifideStories.aspx It works in IE and Firefox on Windows7, works in Chrome on Android ICS and iOS6 iPad. It is on a sharepoint site but if I open a version saved to my desktop it works fine in chrome. • How to break up a table holding 100mil+ number of records?

  We're currently storing answers for 52 predefined questions for our clients in our matchmaking site. we have over 30million unique users summing up for worst case of a 52x30million rows. Of these 52 questions, 11 are required and always answered. Our previous solution was to open an answer table for each question. This solution distributed our answer rows for faster insert/delete/update. But it also caused us an unconventional programming such as dynamically opening a table each time a question is added/updated, or removing an answer table if it was to be destroyed permanently. We want to come up with a better solution for our third version but could't get very far yet. Any ideas to accomplish this in any other, perhaps a more conventional, way?

• What code commenting style should I use for both C++ and C# ?

  Hi, I was recently hired in a company. They have a lot of C++ and C# code source files and almost one different commenting style per file. (Well this is exagerated, but you have the picture) This morning, I show my new collegues how my personnal code was commented and how easy it was to generate a documentation from it (I use Doxygen). I somehow convinced them to use a coherent commenting style. I would suggest using Doxygen for C++ source files and native C# style commenting style for C# files. However, I'm not sure that's the best solution here. Are you aware of a commenting style that would work for both C++ and C# allowing us to generate a documentation from it ? If so, what software/tool should we use ? Having a solution that would work on Linux platforms as well would be even better. Thank you very much.

• Setting language/culture for reporting services report rendered through C#

  I have written a report renderer in C# that runs and attaches reports to an email. This is all working great, except the date format of the parameters are incorrect when listed in the report title. All the reports have their language set to =User!Language and the parameters are output using the FormatDateTime function to format according to the user's regional settings. I am basically using the rendering method described here on MSDN. This all works great when the reports are run through the browser. However, when I render the report from C# it uses en-US date format. The report server's regional settings are set appropriately to the correct region as are the regional settings of the computer the C# progam is running on.. What property do I need to set in my C# program for the report to be rendered using my appropriate language/culture?

  I am using UIDatePicker in my current app, here is how I set a UILabel with the date time string obtained from the UIDatePicker. -(IBAction)AddTimeEnd:(id)sender { NSDate * date = [m_DateTimePicker date]; m_DateTimeLabel.text = [date description]; } Somehow the time I have entered (EST) kept on getting converted to US time in the UILabel. Does anyone know how to fix it? I would like the time entered in UIDatePicker to be consistent with the text in the label (probably the simplest way is set the locale for the UIDatePicker to be the local timezone)?

  I have a *.sqlite file... but I need the database in *.sl3 format? What software/tool can I us to create that? What are the steps? This is to be used in an iPhone app. Original developer used an .sl3 file, now that I have updated the DB - I can't seem to export/generate a .sl3 file I have tried just changing the extension - all the way to inserting the *.sqlite file in XCode and pointing the app delegates to the new DB file format... doesn't work. What I heard is that they allow associative arrays by sending the array key through a hash function that converts it into an int and then uses a regular array. Am I right with that?   Just wondering whether there are easy ways to retrieve country calling code from a user's phone. For example, my app would like to pre-fill country calling code for the users. If the user is located in the U.S. the code +1 will be returned, +83 for China, +61 for Australia etc. I had a look around but I could only see: NSLocale *locale = [NSLocale currentLocale]; NSString *countryCode = [locale objectForKey: NSLocaleCountryCnode]; Which returns the abbreviation for the country code, not the calling prefix? Help is appreciated!

• Inconsistent behaviour from SDL_BlitSurface

  I'm from China and we only publish APKs in Chinese market. This is my first time trying to put out game on Google Play. In China, publishing is pretty simple: They give us a jar file and we just import the file in our project and do something with a small document. But when I was reading the Google Play's document, I think it's too complicated. There're so many documents and what ever you read the document always tell you you need to read another document.
