  • Are duplicate directives in php.ini going to cause an issue?

    I sent a request to ops today to update some php.ini directives, and found out that he merely appended them to the end of the file. My google search didn't really come up with any info on whether this is a problem or not to have duplicates in there and how they would be parsed. Obviously, it can cause confusion, but, I would have a stronger argument if I knew if this was acceptable or not. Any input? Thanks in advance...

    Is there any way, given a function passed as a parameter, to alter its input parameter string before evaluating it? Here's pseudo-code for what I'm hoping to achieve: test.func <- function(a, b) { # here I want to alter the b expression before evaluating it: b(..., val1=a) } Given the function call passed to b, I want to add in a as another parameter without needing to always specify ... in the b call. So the output from this test.func call should be: test.func(a="a", b=paste(1, 2)) "1" "2" "a"

    I am trying to get individual selects (which have the same class as other selects) to respond to a .change function, however it only works on one of the selects. If you test out this code it will make more sense. Try to add a few "ON/OFF events", and then select "Specified Time" in the various selects. You'll see only the first one responds. Any ideas? It is trivial to do for the oledb connection string as described here: MSDN Article on MSDASC.DataLinks().Prompt I've also found examples that use Microsoft.Data.ConnectionUI.dll and MicrosoftData.ConnectionUI.Dialog.dll from VS (HOWTO: Using the Choose Data Source dialog of Visual Studio 2005 from your own code). Unfortunately these DLLs are not licensed for redistribution. Is there a standard dialog for choosing a data source that can be distributed with my application?
