    I need a function to change the appearance of some elements in my html page "on the fly", but I am not able to do. The problem is that I cannot use a command like document.write ('body {background-color: #cccccc;}'); because I need to make the changes effective when the page is already loaded, using a link like <a onmouseclick="Clicker(1)" href="#">clic</a> and I cannot use a command like document.body.style.background='#cccccc'; because I do not know if it can be applied to other not so easy cases, because I need to change the appearance of elements such as td.myclass or sibling elements such as th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]. How can I do it? Thanks!

  • changing asp .net web service namespace when already in productive state

    by some unfortunate events we published a web service with the tempuri-namespace a couple of months ago and no one did notice (not in our company, not the companies connecting to the web service) even though it's live since that time and lots of companies (~25 i guess) already access this web service. now i'm thinking of correcting that mistake and have the namespace fixed to a proper value. the only problem is: as soon as we would do it, all the programs and services connected to this web service would stop working. i can't really allow that to happen. is there any way to fix the namespace for future purpose or to have the web service operate under two namespaces as one web service? any tip at all what i could do to get rid of the tempuri-namespace and have it fixed without needing to synchronize the change with all the external companies? i'm all out of ideas, so any help would be much appreciated! thanks! I hope this question is alright here, first time user, found this through using search engines on my research and found tempuri.org related posts, just not the right one..

  • Keep div:hover open when changing nested select box

    This is an IE-only problem. .toolTip becomes visible when it's parent element is :hovered over. Inside of .toolTip is a select box. When the user opens the select box to make a selection, the parent element is being "un-hovered", if you will. To put it another way, when I try to select something from the dropdown, the whole thing hides itself again. I'm sure it has something to do with the way IE interprets the stylesheet, but I don't know what or where.   • Changing the default TestRunner in Eclipse.

    All tests should be run with jUnit3, if i run a non-configured Test, it tries to use the default-TestRunner (jUnit4). So, i have to go into the run/debug configuration, change the TestRunner to "jUnit3" and run it again. On EVERY Test. This just disturbs the workflow. So, is there an option to REMOVE jUnit4 as possible TestRunner, or even better, change the Default TestRunner to jUnit3 ? Thanks in Advance,

  • Manually changing keyboard orientation for a view that's on top of a camera view

    I'm basically trying to reproduce the core functionality of the "At Once" app. I have a camera view and another view with a text view on it. I add both views to the window. All is well so far. [window addSubview:imagePicker.view]; [window addSubview:textViewController.view]; I understand that the UIImagePickerController does not support autorotation, so I handle it manually by watching UIDeviceOrientationDidChangeNotifications and applying the necessary transforms to the textViewController.view. Now, the problem here is the keyboard. If I do nothing, it just stays in portrait mode. I can get it to rotate by adding the following code to the notification handler. [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarOrientation:interfaceOrientation]; [textView resignFirstResponder]; [textView becomeFirstResponder]; However, the following simple test produces weird behavior. Start the app in portrait mode. Rotate the device 90 degrees clockwise. Rotate the device 90 degrees counterclockwise (back to the initial position). Rotate the device 90 degrees clockwise. After step 4, instead of the landscape-mode keyboard, the portrait-style keyboard is shown, skewed to fit in the landscape keyboard frame. Perhaps my approach is wrong from the start. I was wondering if anyone has been able to reliably make the keyboard change its orientation in response to setStatusBarOrientation.

When i check the source this <img id="wrapper-background" src="images/body-background-0.jpg" alt="Background" /> and i think theres some kind of script maybe php or js, or both, that every 5 sec changes the background: images/body-background-1.jpg images/body-background-2.jpg images/body-background-3.jpg and so on.. So how did they do this? an example would be great, as i want to learn how to do that. If i was going to do something like this i think i would only manage to do a script in php that randomize everytime you refresh. Thank you, this will expand my knowledge

    I am trying to create a schema that has 2 address types. The first AdressType requires an element Line 1 to have a value at least 10 characters. The second type OtherAdressType derives from this with the same elements, but does not require a value for Line 1.     Hi I'm fighting to get the following mapping working in Grails 1.3.1 and MySQL: class Login { int id String email static mappings = { table 'my_table' id column: "Mgr_id" version: false } } No matter what I do the queries that are being issued refer to "schema.login" table instead of "schema.my_table". This is very frustrating... Can anyone answer why this might not be working?

    I have a list of controls that I change based on an event. The controls are contained within a table that is created dynamically. I traverse through a set of controls and if it is a RadioButtonList or a DropDownList I do the following: CType(cntrl, ListControl).SelectedValue = val The radio buttons set just fine but the dropdown list doesn't reset. Can anyone tell me why. The initial table is created on the first Page Load and stored in memory. It's values are changed during the eventhandling and reposted to a MasterPage's content holder.

For example: in the model bid.rb: class Bid ActiveRecord::Base @foo = Foo.find(1) validates_inclusion_of :amt, :in => [email protected], :message => "must be between 1 and #{@foo.bar}" end and in the application_controller (pseudocode): if today == 'wednesday' Foo.update(1, :bar => 10) else Foo.update(1, :bar => 5) end However, this setup isn't working. The "foo" attribute never updates. It seems that the validation code is set only when the dev server starts and then doesn't change.

    I'm attempting to display data through the text of a Pushpin object. However, the text color defaults to white which is nigh-invisible when the backdrop is a road-style MapView. Looking through the API, paying especially close attention to PushpinOptions, I couldn't find anything that manipulated text color. Considering that this seems to a fairly basic feature, I'm a little confused as to why it doesn't exist or at least is really hard to find. Am I missing something or does Bing Maps for Android really not let you change the default text color for a Pushpin object?

However, when I check the radio buttons, 'chosen' always changes to the 'value' (integer). I have the ArrayAdapter of the ListView in the Same Activity Class. Now the Issue I'am facing is that, in Rest all scenarios my Activity is behaving in a proper way but when the Orientation [ Portrait to Landscaped or other way round] is taking place the Data is Getting lost and Newer Data calls are Required to Populate the Same Old Data now this is something that is not intended out the code how should I deal with it.

I have a button column that I create dynamically as such: ButtonField bfSelect = new ButtonField(); bfSelect.HeaderText = "View"; bfSelect.ButtonType = ButtonType.Link; bfSelect.CommandName = "View"; bfSelect.Text = "View"; grdAttachments.Columns.Add(bfSelect); The text on the button is the same for every row. I was wondering if there was any way to have the text be different for different rows depending on a condition. When I try to look at the text property of a particular row it is blank, if I try to set it, it does not change. Thanks in advance. Bob
