    I have what I would consider a small sized iPhone app that uses SQLite. There is a singleton domain object which gets data from a SQLite database. Is it better to create and open the SQLite connection for each request, or to open the DB once and hold on to it for the duration of the app. The app's reason for being is the domain object so other objects will not need the DB.

    For the better part of 10 years + we have relied on various network mapped drives to allow file sharing. One drive letter for sharing files between teams, a seperate file share for the entire organization, a third for personal use etc. I would like to move away from this and am trying to decide if an ECM/Sharepoint type solution, or home grown app, is worth the cost and the way to go? Or if we should simply remain relying on login scripts/mapped drives for file sharing due to its relative simplicity? Does anyone have any exeperience within their own organization or thoughts on this? Thanks.

    If i turn off WiFi, i’m not able to open the app ( this is with no data connection, even without data connection it should display cached items ) If i tun off WiFi and turn on GPRS the app cannot recognize this and gives the error page no Wifi/GPRS connection. if i restart the phone with GPRS on the app works fine till i change data connection type. if i restart the phone with WiFi on the app works fine till i change the data connection type. whenever i change the data connection type i have to restart the phone so the app can recognize the connection type.     I just integrated the addthis sharing buttons into my website. I'd like to use the addthis buttons in reason of their tracking and reporting functionality. However they are blocked by adblock plus and other adblockers. Considering that nowaday 30% of internet users use an adblocker I thought of making a work around for those. I integrated manual sharing buttons into my website. So far so good. Do you have any idea on how to hide my manual sharing buttons if the addthis buttons are shown. Or better said, don't hide them if the addthis buttons are removed by a addblocker? Is it possible to detect an adblocker through js? thx, I really appreciate your help!

I've tried netsh interface set interface "Bluetooth" ENABLED but it seems to have no effect, the connection remains disconnected. I also tried netsh interface set interface "Bluetooth" connect=CONNECTED but this returns One or more essential parameters not specified I know this Bluetooth connection is otherwise ok since I am able to connect using Control Panel Network Connections, right-clicking on Bluetooth Connect.
