    Why can I not rebase from the same location that I can pull? For example, if I am in a pository I can pull from another repository: git pull /path/to/other But I cannot rebase from that other repository; the following fails: git rebase /path/to/other The help for rebase doesn't mention any refspec's, so I don't know how, or even if, I can/should specify them. How can I rebase from a different location?

  • How to configure path to mappings to be used in hibernate.cfg.xml with maven (hbm2cfgxml)

    Hi, can any one tell me how to force maven to precede mapping .hbm.xml files in the automatically generated hibernate.cfg.xml file with package path? My general idea is, I'd like to use hibernate-tools via maven to generate the persistence layer for my application. So, I need the hibernate.cfg.xml, then all my_table_names.hbm.xml and at the end the POJO's generated. Yet, the hbm2java goal won't work as I put *.hbm.xml files into the src/main/resources/package/path/ folder but hbm2cfgxml specifies the mapping files only by table name, i.e.: <mapping resource="MyTableName.hbm.xml" /> So the big question is: how can I configure hbm2cfgxml so that hibernate.cfg.xml looks like below: <mapping resource="package/path/MyTableName.hbm.xml" /> My pom.xml looks like this at the moment: <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>hibernate3-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.2</version> <executions> <execution> <id>hbm2cfgxml</id> <phase>generate-sources</phase> <goals> <goal>hbm2cfgxml</goal> </goals> <inherited>false</inherited> <configuration> <components> <component> <name>hbm2cfgxml</name> <implemetation>jdbcconfiguration</implementation> <outputDirectory>src/main/resources/</outputDirectory> </component> </components> <componentProperties> <packagename>package.path</packageName> <configurationFile>src/main/resources/hibernate.cfg.xml</configurationFile> </componentProperties> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> And then the second question: is there a way to tell maven to copy resources to the target folder before executing hbm2java?     I try to move my old logfiles to a yyyy\MM\dd folder structure by Get-ChildItem . -Recurse -Include *.log | Move-Item -Dest {"D:\Archive\{0:yyyy\\MM\\dd}\{1}" -f $_.LastWriteTime, $_.Name} -Force but i get a path-not-found error. update I suspect the problem originates from the fact that the source path contains Program Files. sub question: Could the same be done without Get-ChildItem?

    I get this exception when I want to open a keystore java.io.FileNotFoundException: \resources\keystore (The system cannot find the path specified) Basically my application is like src/ client.java server.java resources/ keystore truststore And the faulty code : System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore","/resources/keystore"); System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "ebanking"); I also tried ./resources/keystore, resources/keystore, \\resources\\keystore etc.. My application is supposed to work in an executable jar so no absolute path technique please.

Now I want to click a button which opens a dialog box, then I navigate to the right folder and select a file to "open" (from server side). The file path is returned.     I have to fetch all the files from a folder and i am using the function GetFiles() like string[] dirImages = Directory.GetFiles(strPathYearImages + intYear , "*.png"); where strPathYearImages="Images\Holiday\2010\" but when i write the whole path like string[] dirImages = Directory.GetFiles(@"E:\IWP\Images\Holiday\"+ intYear , "*.png"); i get the required result.     I have a fullscreen path which consists of about 20 lines. Currently I am animating changes in this path using an NSTimer which frequently calls -setNeedsDisplay. Believe me: Performance sucks absolutely. I slightly remember that there was some better way to animate paths on the iPhone. Some kind of special CA layer. I don't remember anymore it's exact name. Who knows?

    In the MODx WYSIWYG whenever I click the Image icon to insert an image, followed by browse image it generates the wrong path: /data/12/1/111/99/1111262/user/1169144/htdocs/images/image.jpg instead of assets/images/image.jpg I have checked my Resource URL and Resource Path and they both look correct. Has anyone ever experienced MODx rewriting your paths to the server vs what it should be? Thanks in advance.

When I try to create the file using File.Create, it throws an exception saying that the directory was not found. Is there any way to make .net to create the missing folders along the path for me?     Hey, I'm trying to develop a toolbar for Microsoft Outlook. For getting it to work I need mso.dll and msoutl.olb as an import. My problem is: the path is hardcoded , but it varies for every OS and of course if someone doesn't install Office to the default path. I tried it this way http://support.microsoft.com/kb/234788/en-us/ but it didn't work, because I couldn't get the return value I needed (OK, after four type conversions but I thought there had to be a better way ;) ) Thanks for helping

  • Enable proper relative path in cron

    I have 2 servers that are on completely separate OS' and configurations. One properly accepts require_once '../file.php'; and the other doesn't, because it's relative to where the cron is loading I guess. How can I fix the 2nd location so that it's relative path is from the relative path of the file. I need this to work in 3 different environments (local, beta, and live) so I don't want to write a bunch of code on this page, I'd prefer a configuration adjustment if possible.

    If I have a file that contains a complete path for a file, is there a way to highlight the filename (using visual mode) and open the file? (preferably in a split screen) As I think about it, here is what I would like: if the file name contains a / character, assume it is a full path (IE the 'current directory' is root). Otherwise, use the current folder (IE default behavior) Is this possible?
