• Flex TileList control, image loading issue

  I have a flex 3 TileList in wich a load several image (employee's headshot pictures). The image I'm loading in the TileList are stored in a DataBase (I use the ByteArray class and a Base 64 encoding to store the images in the DB). When I load the images in the TileList from the DB, there is no problem they are displayed correctly, but when I scroll down in the TileList and scroll up again, the position of the images is changing, so for example the image in first position can be now in the 3rd and so on ....   How can I stop DetailGrid from not loading at page load. Because I have button in master grid to load Detail Grid. • Android OutOfMemoryError - Loading JSON File

  The app I am working on needs to read a JSON file that may be anywhere from 1.5 to 3 MB in size. It seems to have no problem opening the file and converting the data to a string, but when it attempts to convert the string to a JSONArray, OutOfMemoryErrors are thrown. The exceptions look something like this: E/dalvikvm-heap( 5307): Out of memory on a 280-byte allocation. W/dalvikvm( 5307): Exception thrown (Ljava/lang/OutOfMemoryError;) while throwing internal exception (Ljava/lang/OutOfMemoryError;) One strange thing about this is that the crash only occurs every 2nd or 3rd time the app is run, leaving me to believe that the memory consumed by the app is not being garbage collected each time the app closes. Any insight into how I might get around this issue would be greatly appreciated. I am open to the idea of loading the file in chunks, but I'm not quite sure what the best approach is for such a task. • SQL CE not loading from network share

  I installed VS 2010 RC yesterday, and suddenly, SQL Server CE isn't loading files from a network share. In projects compiled with VS 2008, if I try to open a SQL CE file located on a network share, I get an error that reads like this: Internal error: Cannot open the shared memory region. If I try to create a data connection in VS 2010 to a SQL CE file on a network share, I get this error: SQL Server Compact does not support opening database files on a network share. Can anyone shed any light on what's going on? Thanks.

• how to commit 'commit log' itself in same svn version?

  It might sound unnecessary, but let me explain my problem first. Probably then it would make sense. Few artists keep updating images based on clients' change requests. An artist makes changes accordingly and commits with proper 'commit messages'. Just before actual commit, I want to create a text file with image properties like size and all the 'commit messages'. And then this file would be committed itself. So basically some sort of pre-commit processing is required. Even though most of the artists are not very comfortable with svn, they can always see what changes were made last time to the image via simple text file. So artists only do update and commit with svn. How this could be done? Are there any better alternatives?

• Problems with contenttypes when loading a fixture in Django

  I am having trouble loading Django fixtures into my MySQL database because of contenttypes conflicts. First I tried dumping the data from only my app like this: ./manage.py dumpdata escola > fixture.json but I kept getting missing foreign key problems, because my app "escola" uses tables from other applications. I kept adding additional apps until I got to this: ./manage.py dumpdata contenttypes auth escola > fixture.json Now the problem is the following constraint violation when I try to load the data as a test fixture: IntegrityError: (1062, "Duplicate entry 'escola-t23aluno' for key 2") It seems the problem is that Django is trying to dynamically recreate contenttypes with different primary key values that conflict with the primary key values from the fixture. This appears to be the same as bug documented here: http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/7052 The problem is that the recommended workaround is to dump the contenttypes app which I'm already doing!? What gives? If it makes any difference I do have some custom model permissions as documented here: http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/models/options/#permissions

"empty" : output); return 1; } } I am deliberately calling svnlook help and forcing an error so I can see what is going on when committing. When this program run, SVN displays svnlook exited with error 0xC0000135. Current output is: empty I looked up the error 0xC0000135 and it mean App failed to initialize properly although it wasn't specific to svnhook. Why is svnlook help not returning anything? Does it fail when executed through another process?

  The reason I want to load modules dynamically is to avoid circular dependency issue. I have following layers View -- ViewModel -- DataProvider -- ServiceClient (wcf proxies). Now I want a static IoC container that can be shared across these layers. I want to make my View testable and to do that I’ll have to inject the various dependencies in various layers and mock out those dependencies as well. Now issue I am facing is where to declare and load ninject modules. i also realised in Silverlight version of Ninject there is no version of Load which take string arugment, which can be used to load the modules dynamically Load("*.dll"). • How to prevent popups when loading a keystore

  Hi as corollary to this question I wanted to ask if you know how to prevent the poping of dialogue either to ask for password or to ask to insert a certificate. We are currently building a system where we have to use the windows keystore to get certificates that are stored on USB token containing both reader and certificate. Unlike the original question we do not experience problems when loading the keystore but when we are accessing it. If there is only a single certificate in the keystore no problem, we get the appropriate password popup at the appropriate time and that's it. However if a second USB key gets inserted in the system and later removed the entry remains in the keystore and from then-on every time we try to access information in the keystore we get a popup to insert the key. This occurs for every certificates in the store for which the key is not currently connected to the computer. The system we are interfacing with that requires these certificates necessitates that we perform multiple cryptographic operations and to have these popups to come up every times is rather annoying to say the least.

  My Java Web application uses Hibernate to perform ORM. In some of my objects, I use lazy loading to avoid getting data until I absolutely need it. The problem is that I load the initial object in a session, and then that session is destroyed. When I later attempt to resolve the lazy-loaded collections in my object I get the following error: org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException: failed to lazily initialize a collection of role: common.model.impl.User.groups, no session or session was closed I tried associating a new session with the collection and then resolving, but this gives the same results. Does anyone know how I can resolve the lazy collections once the original session is gone? Thanks... --Steve

• SVN hook script conflict

  I am trying to write a pre-commit hook script that will alter a specific svn-property of a folder/file. The script looks fairly similar to the one that is documented in the svn book. I figured out how to set/change the property of a node and when executing the binding function svn.fs.commit_txn the property of the node actually gets set. But at the moment tortoise always gives me a conflict on the folder I am altering the property. I wrote my script with Python but am new python and hook scripts. Hope someone can give me a clue why I am getting this conflict..

I've found solutions on how to inject HTML fragments into my site: $(document).ready(function(){ $('a').click(openContent); //binding all anchors to this function }); function openContent(){ var path = $(this).attr('href'); $('#content').load(path); return false; //to prevent browser from loading the single HTML fragment } That works really fine! The problem is, these function won't be executed when clicking on anchors located in the new HTML fragment which were injected right before. So the fragment won't get injected into div, the browser will only load the fragment for itself. Hope there are solutions which aren't that tricky... thanks sam

Is there any method in jquery to get the information of percent loaded(bytes read/remaining) or if the image load is complete... Also how can i place a div over the image placeholder such that the div can fade the image(opacity:0.8) and add some text over the div as loading or something thanks

• Google map in user control not loading from aspx code behind

  I am using Google maps API for proximity search. I have all this in an ascx client side. I have a button in the aspx code behind. The initial load of the map is fine. But on the button click, the map is not being loaded though all the other controls are loading properly. The controls are in an Update Panel and I am new to using these. • Loading an OverlayView from XIB -vs- programmatically for use with UIImagePickerController

  I am currently making a camera app for iPhone and I have a strange phenomenon that I can't figure out. I would appreciate some help understanding. When recreating an overlay view for passing to UIImagePickerController, I have been successfully been able to create the view programmatically. What I haven't been able to do is create the view with/without controller in IB, load it and pass it to the overlay pointer successfully. If I do it via IB, the view is not opaque and obscures the view of the camera completely. I can not figure out why. I was thinking that the normal view pointer might be assigned when loading from XIB and therefore overwrite the camera's view, but I have an example programmatically where view and overlayView are set equal in the controller class. Perhaps the load order is overwriting a pointer? Help would be appreciated... kind regards.

• Problem Loading AS2 swf into AS3 swf

  I've been trying very hard to get an AS2 swf to load properly inside an AS3 swf - but to no avail ... The AS2 file (which is a rather big app referencing many external xml files etc.) works perfectly when launched in Flash Player. When trying to load the same file through an AS3 swf (using URLRequest and Loader classes), the file starts loading but stops abruptly during the preloading phase. (Same happens if I try to load it using AS2 "loadMovie".) What is there more to try? Security settings, custom loader classes - any advice is appreciated.

  Hello, I have a question that is probably very simple, but I cannot find an answer here or on Google. I am loading a SWF in an HTML page the following way (using JavaScript): AC_FL_RunContent( "src", "${swf}", .... "type", "application/x-shockwave-flash", "pluginspage", "http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer" ); I have tried to add the line: "style", "visibility: hidden" But it has not worked. I can later on make it visible or hidden using: document.getElementById("flash").style.visibility = "hidden"; But I would like to have the flash invisible and make it visible later on, but by adding a parameter in the AC_FL_RunContent.   Hi, My question is about XML loading. I need to avoid xml caching. On a web server, the technique is adding a random param to reload each time the XML file. But on local testing (in Flash CS4 IDE, CTRL + Enter), the following lines are not possible : var my_date : Date; path = "toto.xml?time="+my_date.getSeconds()+my_date.getMilliseconds(); Is there any trick to bypass this issue ? I've read on different forum about the "delete" method, we delete the xml object and then recreate one new. In my case, I put : myXML = null; myXML = new XML ( loadedData ); But it doesn't work at all. I spent many hours on that problem, if anyone has a good solution... Thank you.

• Loading all files in a directory in a Java applet

  How would one go about programatically loading all the resource files in a given directory in a JAR file for an applet? The resources will probably change several times over the lifetime of the program so I don't want to hardcode names in. Normally I would just traverse the directory structure using File.list(), but I get permission issues when trying to do that within an applet. I also looked at using an enumeration with something line ClassLoader.getResources() but it only finds files of the same name within the JAR file. Essentially what I want to do is (something like) this: ClassLoader imagesURL = this.getClass().getClassLoader(); MediaTracker tracker = new MediaTracker(this); Enumeration<URL> images = imagesURL.getResources("resources/images/image*.gif"); while (images.hasMoreElements()){ tracker.add(getImage(images.nextElement(), i); i++; } I know I'm probably missing some obvious function, but I've spent hours searching through tutorials and documentation for a simple way to do this within an unsigned applet.

  Hello, I've downloaded Eclipse Classic 3.5 Galileo, the last version of Android SDK, downloaded and installed Eclipse Android 1.6 platform. I've created first (and the only) AVD with Android 1.6 and the default skin. • Inconsistent Loading Times for GeoRSS Overlay Between Firefox and IE

  I have a very simple page built to display a map and overlay a line based on points in a GeoRSS XML file. Here is the publicly accessible file. http://68.178.230.189/georssimport.html Firefox is loading in about 5 secs, which is expected because there are a lot of points to map, but IE (6 & 7) is taking upwards of 45 secs to a minute. What can I do to diagnose what is going on? What is a tool that will show me what is going on? (i.e. Firebug for IE) Thanks, Mark
