• C-panel mail goes into spam instead of inbox in gmail

  I have c-panel vps server. I have created a domain on the same server, but when I send mail through webmail to gmail email id it goes into the spam folder. • From .psd to working HTML and CSS - help me suck less

  I am not much of a designer. My strength lies in coding. That said, I'm often forced into the role of "The Man," responsible for all aspects of site creation. So, that said I'm wondering if the pros can give me tips/solutions/links to tutorials to my main questions. Resolution. What should I aim for? What are the lower and upper edges I should be aware of? I know that systems like 960 Grid were popular recently. Is that the number I should still aim for? Slicing up a .psd - are there any tricks I should know? I've always found it difficult to get my slices pixel perfect. I'm also really slow at it. I must be looking at it wrong, or missing something fundamental. The same goes for text. Layouts are always filled with the classic "Lorem...", but I can never seem to get real content to fit quite as well on the screen. The advanced (to me, anyway) looking things, like a part of a logo/image overlaying what looks like a content area. How does one do that? How do layouts change/are informed by the decision to go fixed or liquid? Again, any tips/tricks/suggestions/tutorials you can share would be greatly appreciated.

• 2D Tile Map files for Platformer, JSON or DB?

  I'm developing a 2D platformer with some uni friends. We've based it upon the XNA Platformer Starter Kit which uses .txt files to store the tile map. While this is simple it does not give us enough control and flexibility with level design. Some examples: for multiple layers of content multiple files are required, each object is fixed onto the grid, doesn't allow for rotation of objects, limited number of characters etc. So I'm doing some research into how to store the level data and map file. Reasoning for DB: From my perspective I see less redundancy of data using a database to store the tile data. Tiles in the same x,y position with the same characteristics can be reused from level to level. It seems like it would simple enough to write a method to retrieve all the tiles that are used in a particular level from the database. Reasoning for JSON: Visually editable files, changes can be tracked via SVN a lot easier. But there is repeated content. Do either have any drawbacks (load times, access times, memory etc) compared to the other? And what is commonly used in the industry? • Handling player logoff and logon in a persistent world without breaking immersion

  One problem I've never seen fixed in any persistent online game is how to handle player logon and logoff without the characters just popping in and out of the world. My first thought is to simply make a player's offline state as their character being asleep, but that doesn't make sense in the event of a disconnect and not an intentional logoff. How would you fix this, if you would even bother fixing it at all?

What I've already tried: wget wget -mk http://myblogurl It downloads the first page with list of posts, then stops with "20 redirections exceeded" message.   I am trying to understand why my production environment might be disallowing HTTP RANGE requests. I have a pool of W2K8x64/IIS7 servers behind a pair of Netscaler 9000s.   I am looking to retire my HTPC. So much of what we do with it can be done with one of our video game consoles or an AppleTV that is seems like a waste of space, power and time to maintain. The trouble is that my wife does streaming yoga classes served up via specific websites. I am assuming they are Flash based and so far I have been unable to find Apps for these content providers. My question is, is there a GOOD way to handle flash-based or even HTML5/h.264 web content with one of the other Internet enabled devices in our stack? • Multi language site - use of canonical link and link rel="alternate"

  I keep reading everywhere that if you have a multilanguage site, where the same page appears in, say, French and English, then this is considered as duplicate content by google. It is written that using canonical link is the solution, but I do not understand how to use it in this case. Should I: Choose either French URL or English URL to be the canonical (main) one, and where I will place the canonical link? If so, how do I decide which of the two URLs must be canonical? both languages are important to me and I want the content under both languages to be indexed by google and served to the user, depending on the language in which he searches. OR should I place a canonical link on both French and English URLs? If so, then I do not understand the meaning of using the canonical link? In this case would both URLs be indexed, are both of them considered as "important" by google and not duplicates? Also I read that link rel="alternate" can be used to indicate to google that, for example the French URL is the French-language equivalent of the English page. This makes sense and I understand how to use such links, but how are they combined with canonical links? Should I define both the canonical URL AND specify rel="alternate" in both URLs? Could someone help me to clarify this, cause I'm stuck with this and can't seem to find a good-enough explanation in different sources.

• Best way to backup Xbox 360 USB Drive

  What is the best way to backup/restore my USB drive that I use for my Xbox? I want to make sure that if the USB drive goes, that I can retrieve my saved games and such onto another USB drive. I was able to show the content of the drive, however, I wasn't sure if I could simply copy the content onto a Truecrypt volume and be able to restore it from there at a later date. The file system is not FAT or NTFS, wasn't sure about the impacts of copying from two different file systems... I currently have a DataTraveler G3 16GB. After a bit of googling, I was able to find this article, mentions an app called USBXtafGUI

• Suggestions for a CMS markup language for PHP

  As a learning experience, and as project, I am attempting to write a CMS module for ZF2. One of the functionality I would like to have is the possibility of adding dynamic contents in the pages by calling PHP functions in the view scripts. However, I do not want to give the users freedom in writing PHP code directly inside the page content, but rather implement custom view helpers (or widgets) to handle logic. For example: calling partial, partialLoop, url, etc. specifying arguments and all. I liked the idea of extending Markdown but this would get complicated when trying to add custom CSS class to elements, etc. Then I had the idea of simply doing a preg_replace on some patterns. For example, the string : ### partialLoop:['partials/display.phtml',[{id:'p1',price:4.99},{id:'p2',price:12.34}]] ### would be replaced by <?php echo $this->partialLoop('partials/display.phtml', array(array('id'=>'p1','price'=>4.99),array('id'=>'p2','price'=>12.34))) ?> Obviously, there would be some caching done so the page content is not rendered everytime. Does this sound good? If not, what would be a good way of doing this? Or is there a project already being developed for doing this? (I'd like to avoid heavy third party libs and something fairly or fully compatible with ZF2 would be nice.) Thanks.

When I try with one IP only, all work correctly, because Varnish is only listen in one IP and port and send to backend in one IP and port too.   By default CloneZilla Live will reinstall grub after restore. In my particular case I am restoring a disk image to same phisical disk without any partitioning/size change. I am expecting to have exact same state as I had right after backup. However, reinstalling grub will render my system to unbootable. If I remove that option [-g] then everything is fine. My question is in what cases and why CloneZilla ever need to re-install grub when restoring disk image?
