• Capture Stored Procedure print output in .NET (Different model!)

  Basically, this question with a difference... Is it possible to capture print output from a TSQL stored procedure in .NET, using the Entity Framework? The solution in the other question doesn't work for me. It works with the connection type from System.Data.SqlClient but I'm using the one from System.Data.EntityClient which does not have an InfoMessage event. (Of course, I could just create an SQL connection based on the Entity connection settings, but prefer to do it directly.)

• buttons in a datagrid in flex

  Hi All, i am using a data grid in flex and i am generating data from a mysql server. However, my problem is with adding a button within the datagrid so each row has one. i have set the columns itemRenderer to mx.controls.Button although with the buttons shown in the grid there is no label on them (even though one has been set) and the assigned click event does not trigger when hitting the button. anyone have any ideas or guidance on what i am doing wrong.   I want to allow numbers only to be allowed for a textbox and I already do it onkeydown event by allow only numbers and prevent ctrl+V but I have two problems : if I make right click then paste so any char can be entered and I want a solution without disable right click by oncontextmenu="return false;" if I drag and drop any text it will be entered Is there any solution that can work in all browsers without problem ?

  I have a page which contains following components: 1 Button 1 drop down list using jQuery 1 button whose on click event changes a text box value using jQuery 2 another buttons shown on hover If I change the dropdown value, or press a button, then the page is re-rendered by ajax. After that, jQuery does not work anymore. If I refresh the page, then jQuery works fine. How is this caused and how can I solve it?

However, after InititializeComponent() has been called, the data is not yet filled in a databound Combobox so I can't set my selected value there.   i have a page consisting of devexpress gridview control with 4 columns and 4 asp.net text boxes. on selecting a row in gridview ,it should update the 4 textboxes with the values of the row selected. so i was assigning the value of the rows of the grid to the text box in the custom callback event of the grid and also the value gets assigned to the all textboxes's text property but it doesn't updates the textbox value in the UI screen.

• fire jquery .animate oninput only once

I was originally using scriptaculous effect.move to do this, but I couldn't make the event only fire once, so if someone kept typing after the first keystroke, the effect would stop and start again from it's current position in the animation for each additional keystroke, which is stupid. I'm new to new to using jquery so please, take it easy if I'm not making very much sense.

  Is there a way to hide the "X" closing icon of a ToolWindow or is there a way to use IVsWindowFrameNotify3's OnShow method to discard (ignore) the event? It seems that the OnClose method is called only when VS exit. When the ToolWindow is called, the OnShow method is called with the __FRAMESHOW.FRAMESHOW_WinHidden state. thanks

  Hello, I'm building a shopping cart and I would like to use a JavaScript function to validate user input when entering the quantity value in the quantity text input. I would like to allow the entering of integer values only (no floats, no other characters). I know that I can apply this function using onKeyUp event and also I found isNaN() function, but it returns true even for floats (which is not ok). Can you guys help me out with this one? Thanks.
