• Silverlight - Bing Maps - Customize Pushpin Style

  Hello, How do I customize the style of a pushpin on the Bing Maps Silverlight control? I have reviewed the documentation shown here (http://www.microsoft.com/maps/isdk/silverlightbeta/#MapControlInteractiveSdk.Tutorials.TutorialCustomPushpin). However, I am programmatically adding a variable number of Pushpins. Ideally, I would like to be able to set the style of each pushin, but I do not know how. Can someone show me how? Thank you!

  Hi all, I am working on a system that provides a soap interface. One of the systems that are going to use the interface is coded in Delphi 7. The web service is developed with WCF, basic http binding, SOAP 1.1. If I use SOAP UI (JAVA), the service works properly. Gefunden wurde "Element "NS2:GetCustomerRequest" aus Namespace "http://services.xxx.de/xxx"". Zeile 1, Position 599. Means something like The Body was expected. But instead the Element "NS2:GetCustomerReques" was found. Now my questions is: Can I somehow change the way Delphi creates the envelope? Or are the ways to make WCF work with such message formats? Any help is greatly appreciated!

  I'm trying to set the preprocessor variable in wix and i'm unable to find an example of this or explanation on how to do it anywhere on the internet, i'm hoping somebody here can explain or show me where im going wrong! I have tried the example shown here regarding setting var values http://www.ageektrapped.com/blog/setting-properties-for-wix-in-msbuild/ The documentation for using the HeatDirectory taks in wix can be found here and is not very useful at all! How do i set the preprocessorVariable to substitute the SourceDir for another variable name?

• NSIS Silent Install changing default options

  I have a third party application I would like to silent install from the command line. The application is PPLive available at: http://www.pptv.com/en/ It is an NSIS installer, and currently when silently installed, installs toolbars, and additional pieces of software, launches on completion etc. Without repackaging it, how do I control the checkbox options on the pages of the normal installer from the silent command line install. Is it even possible?

• facebook connect for android returns a blank login screen?

  Hi, i am trying to use the old facebook connect authentication to authenticate my android client to get the necessary session id's and other credentials thats needed to start using the web service of facebook. the issue i am having is that when my android application launces and tries to load the login page for facebook, that very same login page is blank and it only displays the the facebook logo as the title of the screen. • Serializing a list of Key/Value pairs to XML

  I have a list of key/value pairs I'd like to store in and retrieve from a XML file. So this task is similar as described here. I am trying to follow the advice in the marked answer (using a KeyValuePair and a XmlSerializer) but I don't get it working. What I have so far is a "Settings" class ... public class Settings { public int simpleValue; public List<KeyValuePair<string, int>> list; } ... an instance of this class ... Settings aSettings = new Settings(); aSettings.simpleValue = 2; aSettings.list = new List<KeyValuePair<string, int>>(); aSettings.list.Add(new KeyValuePair<string, int>("m1", 1)); aSettings.list.Add(new KeyValuePair<string, int>("m2", 2)); ... and the following code to write that instance to a XML file: XmlSerializer serializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(Settings)); TextWriter writer = new StreamWriter("c:\\testfile.xml"); serializer.Serialize(writer, aSettings); writer.Close(); The resulting file is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <Settings xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <simpleValue>2</simpleValue> <list> <KeyValuePairOfStringInt32 /> <KeyValuePairOfStringInt32 /> </list> </Settings> So neither key nor value of the pairs in my list are stored though the number of elements is correct. • Jquery history, inspect the history stack

  Im using this history jquery plugin http://www.mikage.to/jquery/jquery_history.html and im trying to inspect the back stack. I can call this $.historyCurrentHash to return the current hash, but im trying to figure out how to look one step back in the stack. if i try calling this $.historyBackStack, but i just get an 'undefined'. anyone got any ideas? I can see that its not a public variable, but im wondering if i need to modify the library or just call it in a different way

  I am trying to make a sitewide 301 redirect for a site with around 400 pages but also have a subset of about 10 individual pages that don't follow the sitewide redirect and should point somewhere else. Any ideas how to format such redirect rules so the sitewide redirect doesnt conflict with the subset pages redirect? I mean when a user touches their iphone screen, drags their finger downwards, and the webview shows a blank spot above the web page I had loaded?
