  • Using Fzip lib under Adobe Air App

    I'm currently working on a project for Adobe Air (1.5.3) and I need to unzip a file, copy some of its contents to another file. Then I saw people talking about the Fzip (http://codeazur.com.br/lab/fzip) lib. The problem is that I don't know how to "import" or use this library with Javascript and Adobe Air, since Javascript doesn't have the import directive. How can I manage to do that ?

  • Best Project Template to use for Classic Web Service

    I'm going to create a new PayPal project. Should I just create a regular Class Library project then add the reference to the WSDL? We are not using WCF. I just want to know what the best project type / template I should use if I'm going to share this project with lets say another WAP web project. I simply want to create wrappers for some of the WSDL that we'll be using in part of the PayPal API.

    Artifacts from dependencies can be excluded by declaring an <exclusions> element inside a <dependency> But in this case it's needed to exclude an artifact inherited from a parent project. An excerpt of the POM under discussion follows: <project> <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> <groupId>test</groupId> <artifactId>jruby</artifactId> <version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version> <parent> <artifactId>base</artifactId> <groupId>es.uniovi.innova</groupId> <version>1.0.0</version> </parent> <dependencies> <dependency> <groupId>com.liferay.portal</groupId> <artifactId>ALL-DEPS</artifactId> <version>1.0</version> <scope>provided</scope> <type>pom</type> </dependency> </dependencies> </project> base artifact, depends on javax.mail:mail-1.4.jar, and ALL-DEPS depends on another version of the same library. Due to the fact that mail.jar from ALL-DEPS exist on the execution environment, although not exported, collides with the mail.jar that exists on the parent, which is scoped as compile. A solution could be to rid off mail.jar from the parent POM, but most of the projects that inherit base, need it (as is a transtive dependency for log4j).   • Can I make ruby send network traffic over a specific iface?

    I am writing a script that grabs the external IP address along with some other information about each iface. I can't figure out how to make ruby send traffic over a specific iface(eth0 and wlan0 for example). I am currently using the open-uri library to open http://whatismyip.org and read it into a variable. def get_external_ip begin open("http://whatismyip.org") { |f| return f.read } rescue return "none" end end Is there any way to specify this at runtime of the script or from within the script itself(ideally)?

    For the life of me I cannot deserialize the protobuf file from Open Street Maps. I am trying to deserialize the following extract: http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/north-america/us-northeast.osm.pbf to get Nodes and I am using http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-net/ as the library. I have tried to deserialize a bunch of different objects but they all come up null.     I've installed just about every library/gem that I could find for memcached/memcache, but everytime I attempt to run my application I get this error: Error message: uninitialized constant Rails::Initializer::MemCache Exception class: NameError I have tried $ telnet localhost 11211 and memcached is definitely running. Any ideas? (I'm running Apache2/Passenger)

I was thinking of using a concurrentskiplistset or concurrentskiplist map. Also I was thinking of deleting the items from inside a newSingleThreadScheduledExecutor.     i am using pcap library to sniff some packets, change their tcp data , and then inject my packet on the network. my question is: if i changed in the tcp data, should i recalculate the length field in the tcp header? should i also change the checksum? i read in a page on how to create raw sockets that if you set the tcp_checksum to 0, the kernel will automatically calculate it and fill it, is this true for windows machines also?
