  Hello - I am using presentModalViewController to display a view which allows the user to modify data that is being displayed in the first view. After the user has updated the data, I would like to send [tableView reloadData] to the first view. Is that possible? Or is there a method I can create in the first view that gets called when the modalView is dismissed.

AFAIK IOCP allows you to receive notification on completed operations like data read or written (proactor) but I'm looking for reactor style of operations: I need to get notification when the socket is readable or writable (reactor).   Hello I am trying to validate a dollar amount using a regex: ^[0-9]+\.[0-9]{2}$ This works fine, but whenever a user submits the form and the dollar amount ends in 0(zero), ruby(or rails?) chops the 0 off. So 500.00 turns into 500.0 thus failing the regex validation. Is there any way to make ruby/rails keep the format entered by the user, regardless of trailing zeros?
