  A friend of mine asked me for a easy website for him. As it was just 3 subpages, no database need or anything, I've done it quite fast with plain PHP, HTML, JS and CSS. But then another and another friend showed up. They only wanted arrange differently they navigation, some different picutures etc. So I though, is there any kind of CMS, that allows build small business website (barbershop, local groceries shop), with small list of subpages, yet allowing us to arrange look'n'feel. There's no need for the databas as content won't change, or can be stored in simple textfiles for example. Things like WordPress might be simple overkill Does anyone know such cms?

  We are worried about the security of our website containing the login-button to our saas-application. Security measures put in place for our application won't do us much good if the website is hacked. The login button could be redirected to some malicious copy of our app. The product website is maintained by people outside the dev team. Those people are not too knowledgable concerning security. We (dev-team) could mantain the website ourselves but that would be a large burden on our small team. How is this usually handled?

  If I am targeting the same audience, but the new sub-site has different concept from the existing site, should I create a new sub-domain or create a new domain? What are the seo advantages and disadvantages of creating a new sub-domain? For example Stack Exchange with Alexa rank 1.474 right now, has sub-domains such as programmers.stackexchange.com and other domains such us serverfault.com with rank 3.515 and stackoverflow.com with rank 109. So why didn't Stack Exchange put, for example, Stack Overflow in a sub-domain to create a better ranking?

• Why won't jqGrid won't populate initially in Chrome

  Hi, I've got a web page with a jqGrid that uses am xmlreader to populate itself with data that is spat out by a RoR service. The page loads fine in firefox and safari. In Chrome however I get a blank grid. • Why won't jqGrid populate initially in Chrome

  Hi, I've got a web page with a jqGrid that uses am xmlreader to populate itself with data that is spat out by a RoR service. The page loads fine in firefox and safari. In Chrome however I get a blank grid.   Alrighty, I've got another little bit of code that I'm wrestling through. I'm building a conditional sidebar. The goal is to only show blog related stuff when posts in the "blog" category are being viewed. I've got part of it working, but the part where I'm trying to bring in an RSS feed of the category into the sidebar to show as recent posts. It doesn't work, and since I'm a php newb I'm not entirely sure why. Any suggestions or pointers are much appreciated. • What is auto-mounting my media volume?

  Something is repeatedly mounting my "media" share, doing something with it, then quietly un-mounting it with no notifications at the user level. from the little I can gleaned from the console messages below, I thought I'd managed to stop it, if not understand it last night when I followed instructions for deleting all traces of the Google Update Daemon. I've not been using any Google apps whatsoever, so I was surprised to see that in Console. What's more surprising, and perhaps a little distressing, is that the same thing occurred this evening, when the Google Daemon is long gone. I don't have that log because I can't recall precisely what time it occurred. I'll do a search and provide it if you wish, though. In the meantime, any help with this would be extremely appreciated. I've asked over at Apple Discussions but I think it might be a little deeper than those manning the boards this weekend are comfortable with. It's certainly beyond my meager skills.   I have two numpy arrays 1D, one is time of measurement in datetime64 format, for example: array([2011-11-15 01:08:11, 2011-11-16 02:08:04, ..., 2012-07-07 11:08:00], dtype=datetime64[us]) and other array of same length and dimension with integer data. I'd like to make a plot in matplotlib time vs data. If I put the data directly, this is what I get: plot(timeSeries, data) Is there a way to get time in more natural units? For example in this case months/year would be fine.

• Including an embedded framework using a cross-project-reference: Header no such file or directory

  I'm trying to create a Cocoa framework by using a cross-project reference in Xcode. I have 2 projects: one for the framework; one for the application that will use the framework. This framework is not intended to be stored within the system; it is an embedded framework that lives within the application bundle. I have successfully made the cross-project reference, marked the framework as being a dependency of my target, added a Copy Files build phase that puts the framework in Contents/Frameworks/ and added the framework to the linker phase (I checked the little "Target" checkbox; I've also done it manually by dragging the framework into the linker phase). My framework's install directory is correctly set to @executable_path/../Frameworks. However, when I try to build my app it: a) Correctly builds the framework first b) Correctly copies the framework c) Errors because it cannot find the master header file in my framework I have verified that the header is there. I can see it in the app product that is partially built. ls build/Debug/CioccolataTest.webapp/Contents/Frameworks/Cioccolata.framework/Headers/Cioccolata.h build/Debug/CioccolataTest.webapp/Contents/Frameworks/Cioccolata.framework/Headers/Cioccolata.h I have been able to successfully build the app by copying my framework into /Library/Frameworks (I can then delete it again after the successful build), but this is a workaround, I'm looking to find it out why Xcode doesn't find the framework's master header file without it being copied to a system directory. Is copying it to the app bundle during the build not sufficient?   We have 2's complement for integers that allows us to perform operations without worrying about the sign. That is a big help at the implementation level. Similarly we have so many floating point operations and yet we rely on sign and magnitude. What is the reason? Why can't a 2's complement like system work for floats?

• Socket Programing UDP GetSocketOpt.

  A third Party library gives us just the created socket on which listen data. Now this socket can be udp or tcp, I am not able to figure out which options to give to getsockopt to figure out whether the socket is udp or tcp. SOL_SOCKET, SO_BROADCAST doesn't seem to serve this purpose.
