    Hi, I've this: JSON.parse('{"130.00000001":{"p_cod":"130.00000001","value":"130.00000001 HDD Upgrade to 2x 250GB HDD 2.5\" SATA2 7200rpm"}}'); http://www.jsonlint.com/ says it's perfectly valid json. But on execution I have a JSON.parse error. But, if I change my code to: JSON.parse('{"130.00000001":{"p_cod":"130.00000001","value":"130.00000001 HDD Upgrade to 2x 250GB HDD 2.5\\" SATA2 7200rpm"}}'); (note the double backslash) It works, but now jsonlint gives me invalid json :/ Can someone help to understand this behavior?

    I want to start a new project, and I want this to be my first Python project. I was looking through the style guide, http://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0008/, which "strongly recommends" using a 4-spaces indentation style for new projects. But I just hate this idea! In my opinion, tabs are better for this purpose. What annoyances could crop up one day if another developer wanted to work on my tab-delimited files?

This project has been hard since the begining, as we had to create services that matched legacy wsdl. My question is: is there a way that I could remove all that namespaces declaration from the web service response?

  • Can/should one disable namespace validation in Axis2 clients using ADB databinding?

    I have an document/literal Axis 1 service which I'm consuming with an Axis 2 client (ADB databinding, generated from WSDL2Java). It receives a valid XML response, but in parsing that XML, I get the error "Unexpected Subelement" for any type which doesn't have a namespace defined in the response. I can resolve the error by manually changing the (auto-generated by Axis2) type-validation line to only check the type name and not the namespace as well, but is there a non-manual way to skip this? This service is consumed properly by other Axis 1 clients. Here's the response, with bits in ALL CAPS having been anonymized. Some types have namespaces, some have empty-string namespaces, and some have none at all. Can I control this via the service's WSDL, or in Axis2's WSDL2Java handling of the WSDL? Is there a fundamental mismatch between Axis 1 and Axis2? It just won't load. Any idea on how to bypass this? Or solution generally using PHP?

    Hi everybody, I am building a WCF service as http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WCF/9StepsWCF.aspx#Beginner%20WCF%20FAQ%E2%80%99s and facing a trouble with X.509 certificate: when I debug, evething is OK. But when I pubish it to IIS (5.1, windowsXP SP3) I receive the error: **Cannot find the X.509 certificate using the following search criteria: StoreName 'My', StoreLocation 'CurrentUser', FindType 'FindBySubjectName', FindValue 'WCFServer'.** Thanks for any idea.

    I have seen the "solution" at http://www.rgagnon.com/javadetails/java-0506.html, but it doesn't work correctly. E.g. yesterday (June 8) should have been 159, but it said it was 245. So, does someone have a solution in Java for getting the current date's three digit Julian day (not Julian date - I need the day this year)? Thanks! Mark

    Hi All, Is it possible to hyperlink a url in excel automatically. I mean when the cell starts with something like http or www can I hyperlink that. Currently, I have to hit enter in the cell value in the formula bar to make the link as clickable. Also if I change the value in the cell, the link doesnt get refreshed until I hit enter. Is there a way in excel where it will automatically detect and apply a hyperlink.
