• Regular expression only for website

  HI, I'm new to Regular Expression. I need to find just website in some text and I'm looking for a regular expression able to find out strings like: www.my.home, http://my.site.it But this regular expression should not find strings like: [email protected] or if the website is already inside html tag <a href="http://www.my.site.com/"><span style="font-style: normal;">www.mambo-test.org</span></a> I tried with this one: \b((https?://[^ ])|(www.[^ ])) but it also finds the website in the href and between the tag: <a href="http://www.my.site.com/"><span style="font-style: normal;">www.mambo-test.org</span></a> and I don't know how except this case.

• C# WinForms: How to load an image, then wait a few seconds, then play a mp3 sound ?

  Hello everybody, (after pressing a button) i would like to show an image (using a picturebox), wait a few seconds and then play a mp3 sound, but i dont get it to work. To wait a few seconds i use "System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(5000)". The problem is, the image alway appears AFTER the wait time, but i want it to show first, then wait, then play the mp3... i tried to use "WaitOnLoad = true" but it doesnt work, shouldn't it load the image first and the continue to read the next code line ?? Here is the code i've tried, that doesnt work: private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { pictureBox1.WaitOnLoad = true; pictureBox1.Load("image.jpg"); System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(5000); MessageBox.Show("test"); //just to test, here should be the code to play the mp3 } (i also tried loading the image with "LoadAsync" and put the code to wait and play the mp3 in the "LoadCompleted" event, but that doesnt work either...) would be very nice if somebody helps me

• Using Scanner in Java how can I hasNext(aString) where the string is not regex pattern?

  Hi, I am trying to do as my question states, sooo I have the following code which would find the match. String test = scan.next(); if (test.equals("$let")) return 1; However, I would prefer to use hasNext as to not consume a token; however, when i do the following it fails. if (scan.hasNext("$let")) return 1; I realize the when giving has next a variable it expects a pattern, but I thought if i don't have any regex symbols it should work. I also thought $ was possibly some regex symbol so I tried /$ however, that did not work! Thanks for the help!

• How do I dynamically name objects in Java?

  Let's say I needed to make a series of String[] objects. I know that if i wanted to make a string array called "test" to hold 3 Strings I could do String[] test = new String[3]; But let's say I needed to make a series of these arrays and I wanted them to be named, 1,2, 3, 4, 5... etc. For however many I needed and I didn't know how many I'd need. How do I achieve a similar effect to this: for (int k=0; k=5; k++){ String[] k = new String[3]; } Which would created 5 string arrays named 1 through 5. Basically I want to be able to create array objects with a name detemined by some other function. Why can't I seem to do this? Am I just being stupid?

  Hello Ive a website that create avatars for users and provide them with link for avatar to use it in their website or singuters etc , my problems is the website based on flash . the main page has 1 swf file that load other swfs used to create avatars , if someone knows the link for the these swf files he can download them which means he can have all the website lets say: www.test.com as main page which load main swf and other swfs files which located at www.test.com/resources/flash/swffiles/file1.swf anyone can grap these files and have all the website which is a big security breach ive trying so many way protect these files from not download but protecting them means the main swf cant talk to them and cant load the main page correctaly , any suggestion for these .. thanks in advance

• Connection to DB2 in Python

  Hi, I'm trying to create a database connection in a python script to my DB2 database. When the connection is done I've to run some different SQL statements. I googled the problem and has read the ibm_db API (http://code.google.com/p/ibm-db/wiki/APIs) but just can't seem to get it right. I just need to make a automatic test python script that can test different queries with different indexes and so on and for that I need to create and remove indexes a long the way.   Hi there, I'm struggling a bit with this regular expression and wondered if anyone was about to help me please? What I need to do is isolate the 1st phrase inside a string which is NOT inside an HTML tag. So the examples I have at the moment are: This is some test text about ITS for the ITS department. Also worth mentioning ABS as well I guess.ITS, ... and ... This is some ITS test text about ITS for the ITS department. Also worth mentioning ABS as well I guess So in the first example I want it to ignore the wrapped ITS and give me the ITS at the end of the 1st sentence. In the second example I want it to return the ITS at the start of the 2nd sentence. The aim is to replace these with my own custom wrapped acronym tags in a ColdFusion application I'm writing. • PHP date function not accepting timezone change

  Hello, I've set up a quick little test to understand and debug timezones between mySQL and PHP. Here's the page: http://dev.feedingo.com/test_dates.php The dates are being created in mySQL using NOW() in a datetime field. The initial problem I was trying to figure out is what timezone mySQL is using and how to sync it up with PHP. But now there's an even weirder issue. In my test app, if you change your timezone, the first strtotime updates properly, but if you pass it into a date() function it doesn't change. This is how im setting the timezone based off the select box. $current_timezone = 'America/New_York'; if( isset( $_GET['timezone'] ) ) $current_timezone = $_GET['timezone']; date_default_timezone_set($current_timezone); Any ideas as to why the date() function isn't accepting the timezone changes?   Hi, I'm trying to read a file which has only CR as line delimiter. I'm using Mac OS X and Perl v.5.8.8. This script should run on every platform, for every kind of line delimiter (CR, LF, CRLF). • Jenkins plugin for different types of slaves

  We have some tests that need to be run on multiple types of specific hardware. Its possible that these tests might pass on some pieces of hardware but fail on others, and we want to know where they work and where they fail. So, for certain tests, we would like to provide a list of hardware they need to be tested on. We'd like to put all the needed hardware in a pool that Jenkins has access to, and then have Jenkins run the right tests on the right hardware, depending on the hardware list that comes with the test. And of course we'd like to keep track of which test worked where. Is there a plugin for Jenkins to be able to handle this sort of thing? Has anyone else solved this sort of problem?

  I'm trying to render the contents of a the Java/Swing Cobra HTML renderer to an offscreen BufferedImage, for use elsewhere in my app: slideViewPanel.setDocument(document, rendererContext); BufferedImage test = new BufferedImage(300,300,BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB); Graphics g = test.getGraphics(); slideViewPanel.paint(g); The resulting image in g shows a partially rendered page -- sometimes the contents of the HTMLFrame before the new document was set; sometimes a half-rendered version of the new document. I gather this is because Cobra's setDocument method just schedules the document for re-rendering, but I'm stepping through in the debugger and I don't see a second thread to do re-rendering. Anyone have any insight into what might be happening here?

  I have an attribute lets call it SomeAttribute and a class i need to make sure the class is passed a type which has SomeAttribute. So this is how i do it now: public class Test() { public Test(SomeType obj) { if(!obj.GetType().IsDefined(typeof(SomeAttribute), false)) { throw new ArgumentException("Errormessage"); } } } But this means that i don't get any errors at compile time but somewhere at runtime, if obj does not have the attribute. Is there a way to specify in the method declaration that the parameter must have some attribute ? So i get errors i compile time when using the wrong parameters.

• PayPal testing without using Sandbox

  I am developing a website in PHP that accepts PayPal payments. It uses the IPN from PayPal and has a custom payment template etc etc. It all works great through the Sandbox server but when it comes to showing my client, I don't want to have to tell them to login to/create a Sandbox account, create a buyer account and make a payment - he hasn't got time for that and probably won't be able to do it. Therefore, my question is - is there any simple way that I can show my client the PayPal integration in "test mode" without him using the sandbox? I realise that I can set the transaction value to 0.01 and just test on the live PayPal server but that isn't an ideal solution. Cheers! Edit: Just to better explain what I mean, this is what my client sees when he first goes to checkout; As you can see, he has to login to his Sandbox account before then purchasing the item using the buyer email that he sets up. It's just confusing and totally non user-friendly.

  I just had a little surprise in a Webapp, where I'm using EL in .jsp pages. I added a boolean property and scratched my head because I had named a boolean "isDynamic", so I could write this: <c:if test="${page.isDynamic}"> ... </c:if> Which I find easier to read than: <c:if test="${page.dynamic}"> ... </c:if> However the .jsp failed to compile, with the error: javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: Property 'isDynamic' not found on type com... I turns out my IDE (and it took me some time to notice it), when generating the getter, had generated a method called: isDynamic() instead of: getIsDynamic() Once I manually replaced isDynamic() by getIsDynamic() everything was working fine. So I've got really two questions here: is it bad to start a boolean property's name with "is"? wether it is bad or not, didn't IntelliJ made a mistake here by auto-generating a method named isDynamic instead of getIsDynamic?
