  • javascript problems server side

    Hi, I have a php script that uses some css/javascript tabs, they work on my local server but not when i upload to my online server. Just wondering if anyone knows why this might be the case? All the paths are correct, its basically an identical setup. I would be grateful to find out some reasons why the error appears on the server side, i thought javascript executed on the client side?     Does the HTML/CSS for an html email newsletter need to be in table format, or can I use DIVs with equal assurance it will display well cross email-client? I've downloaded a number of templates to see how they're done, upon which to base my own, and they all seem to use tables. Any insight much appreciated, thanks!

  • Biggest GWT Pitfalls?

    I'm at the beginning/middle of a project that we chose to implement using GWT. Has anyone encountered any major pitfalls in using GWT (and GWT-EXT) that were unable to be overcome? How about from a performance perspective? A couple things that we've seen/heard already include: Google not being able to index content CSS and styling in general seems to be a bit flaky Looking for any additional feedback on these items as well.     Hi I've been testing lots of dropdown menus, but I was looking for some specific stuff: multilevel crossbrowser css based (mainly) if uses javascript, to be jQuery compatible easy to implement After discarding some menus, I arrived to Superfish http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/ I had to discard it too, because the z-index fix for IE didn't work for me So, does any1 know about one good multilevel dropdown crossbrowser menu?   • Safari/Chrome problem with ajaxsubmit?

    Hi I'm currently having some weird issues with ajaxsubmit (http://jquery.malsup.com/form/#ajaxSubmit), which I'm currently using in a project. I have a flow where I need to open a form into a modal window. I'm using fancybox for that and it works like a charm. When the form has been forced to open in the fancybox window there can happen two things. 1) If the user who is about to submit the form is logged in she should see a confirmation in the modal box, that her input was succesfully submitted 2)If the user is not logged in there should be loaded a login form once she hits the submit button 2.1) When the user has logged in she should receive a confirmation in the modal box. This is also working like a charm in Firefox, IE8 and IE7 but not in Safari or Chrome. The weird part is that it seems like safari and chrome are completely ignoring my ajaxsubmit form. It seems like the default action is not being overruled by the link written in the "url" in ajaxsubmit. I'm really puzzled about this, since it's working nicely in other browsers and I'm completely lost on how I should approach the debugging in safari/chrome.   • fullCalendar Font size

    Hi, I am having issues setting the calendar font sizes to be smaller. I have changed setting a container div font size, no effect. I have also changed the fullCalender.css font from 1em to 0.5em and to a px size but the calendar text stays the same. Is there anything obvious I am missing, sorry to post if this is very obvious but I have searched for hours and I have tried so many things to set this. Thanks Dkn

  • YUI Compressor and .NET Apps

    I want to use YUI Compressor (the original) and use it as part of typical MS build processes (Visual Studio 2008, MSBuild). Does anyone have any guidance or thoughts on this? For example, good ways for incorporating into project, what to do with existing CSS and JS references, and the like.   • Postfix rewrite sender: why doesn't this work

    I have server A with an IP address only and a dummy FQDN (on the basis all machines should have a FQDN): pants.net.invalid. All mail is relayed through another server elsewhere, which works fine. On server A, Postfix rewrites the sender address with smtp_generic_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/generic. According to the Rewrite manual at http://www.postfix.org/ADDRESS_REWRITING_README.html#remote, this should rewrite all outgoing external mail's Sender address: $ cat /etc/postfix/generic @pants.net.invalid [email protected] but it does not. postmap -q [email protected] returns nothing. This works: [email protected] [email protected] It seems as though it is doing regex matching even though I specify type hash:. Clearly I am misunderstanding the manual. I don't want to use regex or pcre expressions because there are only a couple of users (root and two others) and I don't want the overhead. I can specify the users exactly and it works. But, I would like to know what I am misunderstanding for future reference. Thanks.

    in symfony 2.0 and django there are bundles that contain everything for a feature (html, css, js, img, php/python). so if you want to delete one feature, you basically just delete that bundle and unregister it from "main". are there java frameworks for this too? or is it different in java cause java is a compiling language. thanks

EDIT: The following code solves the problem: au BufWinLeave ?* mkview au BufWinEnter ?* silent loadview but if I write it, the MRU files disappear from my list (and I have to open MRU twice in order to see my list of recent files why?)

  • Any way to colorize specific days in FullCalendar?

    Using FullCalendar, is there any way I can programmatically colorize specific days differently than the rest of the days? For example, in the "month" or "week" views, I'd like to colorize days with no events on them "red", and days with some events (but not yet a full schedule) "yellow". Days with a full schedule would be colorized normally (white background). Are there any callbacks or CSS tags I can take advantage of to add this behavior? Thank you.

  • Did iPhone Simulator 3.0 break two-finger div scrolling?

    I recently upgraded to iPhone Simulator 3.0, and when I do a two-finger scroll on a div (in Safari or UIWebView), it no longer works. To do a two-finger scroll in iPhone simulator, hold option to get two fingers, hold shift to lock the fingers in place relative to eachother, and then click and drag the div.   • html5 canvas hand cursor problems

    I'm playing around with html5 and some javascript to make a minor sketchpad. Whenever I click down on the canvas in chrome, the cursor becomes a text cursor. I have tried putting cursor: hand in the css, but that doesn't seem to work. This has got to be an easy thing, but I look it up and can't find it anywhere
