    I seem to be having a problem with retrieving XML values with C#, which I know it is due to my very limited knowledge of C# and .XML. I was given the following XML file <PowerBuilderRunTimes> <PowerBuilderRunTime> <Version>12</Version> <Files> <File>EasySoap110.dll</File> <File>exPat110.dll</File> <File>pbacc110.dll</File> </File> </PowerBuilderRunTime> </PowerBuilderRunTimes> I am to process the XML file and make sure that each of the files in the exist in the folder (that's the easy part). It's the processing of the XML file that I have having a hard time with. Here is what I have done thus far: var runtimeXml = File.ReadAllText(string.Format("{0}\\{1}", configPath, Resource.PBRuntimes)); var doc = XDocument.Parse(runtimeXml); var topElement = doc.Element("PowerBuilderRunTimes"); var elements = topElement.Elements("PowerBuilderRunTime"); foreach (XElement section in elements) { //pbVersion is grabbed earlier. Questions about his ideas why to waste resources to transform constantly-modified lists to table? Fast? only point where I to some extent agree but cannot understand the same upper limits n for each for-loops -- perhaps he supposed it circular why does the code take O(mlog(n)) to proceed in time as finite structure? The term finite may be wrong, explicit?

    In Algorithm Design Manual, there is such an excise 4-26 Consider the problem of sorting a sequence of n 0’s and 1’s using comparisons. For each comparison of two values x and y, the algorithm learns which of x < y, x = y, or x y holds. (a) Give an algorithm to sort in n - 1 comparisons in the worst case. Show that your algorithm is optimal. (b) Give an algorithm to sort in 2n/3 comparisons in the average case (assuming each of the n inputs is 0 or 1 with equal probability). Show that your algorithm is optimal. For (a), I think it is fairly easy. I can choose a[n-1] as pivot, then do something like in quicksort partition, scan 0 to n - 2, find the middle point where left side is all 0 and right side is all 1, this take n - 1 comparisons. But for (b), I can't get a clue. It says "each of the n inputs is 0 or 1 with equal probability", so I guess I can assume the numbers of 0 and 1 equal? But how can I get a result which is related to 1/3? divide the whole array into 3 groups? Thanks

Each segment in the list is indexed according to another vector of indexes: >index.list 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 In list.stuff, only at each of the indexes 1,3,5,10,15 will there be 2 vectors and one matrix; everything else will be null like [[2]]. What I want to do is to lag like the lag.xts function so that whatever is stored in [[1]] will be pushed to [[3]] and the last one drops off. This also requires subsetting the list, if its possible. I was wondering if there exists some functions that handle list manipulation. The odd thing here is that I have checked the database, and the autoincrement value is incremented on every run of the code. However, no rows are inserted in the database.     I've got a piece of tracking code which is capturing REMOTE_HOST, SERVER, REQUEST_METHOD, SCRIPT_NAME and QUERY_STRING. It grabs these from ServerVariables and sticks them in a database by user and IP. What is the best way to pick up the exact contents of what was posted back to a URL in ASP.NET? Is there an HTTP_POST? I'd rather not grab something and then have to parse it.

    Hi, I am writing an Android app, part of which will be a survey involving multiple pages of checkbox question and answers. I have created an activity to display the question and options (from the DB) and what I want to do now is when i press the "Next" button it should just reload the current activity with the next question set from the database. (the activity starts with survey.getNextQuestion() - so its just a case of refreshing the activity so it updates) Im sure this is a simple thing to do -any ideas? Thanks

  • DataTriggered animation is triggered only in the first time

    I just wanted to create very simple example of DataTriggers and animation. Two checkboxes and Rectangle. Checking the first cb makes the rectangle fade away. (CodeBehind var is true) Checking the second cb makes the rectangle come back. (var is false) App is loading - the rectangle is showing (true) Firs cb is checked by default. I'm checking second cb - rect is dissapearing. It's OK. But when I then check the first cb rect isn't showing up.   • flex data provider not working if XML has single node value or less

    hello, i get this error when i retrieve an XML that only has 1 node (no repeating nodes) and i try to store in an ArrayCollection. -When I have MORE than 1 "name" nodes...i do NOT get an error. My test show that XMLListCollection does NOT work either. TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert "XXXXXX" to mx.collections.ArrayCollection. this error occurs as the line of code: myList= e.result.list.name; Why can't ArrayCollection work with a single node? I'm using this ArrayCollection as a dataprovider for a Component -is there an alternative I can use that will take BOTH single and repeating nodes as well as work as a dataprovider?     Hello I have some question about naive bayes classifier . In my project I have to classify a text into a class from 4 available class. In naive bayes we have formula like cmap=argmax.P(d|c).P(c) I have standarize the amount of training document of each class, so I got a same P(c) value for each class (0.25). Here's my question: What if a testing document token doesn't have any token which belong to any of those 4 class(in document training)? Resulted to all of the class have same value of P(d|c).P(c). Which class should i pick? What if the token exist, and 2 class or more have same value of P(d|c).P(c) what should I do? Thank you..
