    CanUserAddRows="True" only 'works' when there's already data in the itemsource of the data grid. If it just so happens that there are no rows in the original list of items, then the datagrid doesn't display a 'placeholder' row for entering new items, even though I've set CanUserAddRows="True".     Hi, I was wondering how to return plain XML from ADO.net data services I have exposed an ADO.net data service to different DEPARTMENTS in our company who are not so technical. The data returned is ATOM FEED which is kind a hard to read / interpret with its format, too much information is returned people from various departments would execute different queries ( HTTP Request) and i wanted them to display simple XML or atleast something more user friendly like HTML I have tried ACCEPT attribute of the request to be plain XML and it still returns ATOM Thanks -- Khalil

    Hy everyone I'm using a TextField where the user is typing in a phonenumber. When the TextField has changed it should check if this number is allready in the phonebook and display the name. So far, my only way is to parse all names and number in a Dict and read it from there. Is there a simpler more efficient and sophisticated way to do that. cheers simon

  • .Net ListView and System's Icon Size

    I have a ListView using the LargeIcon View mode with some 64x64 thumbnails. The problem is that the padding between ListViewItems is somehow based on the system's Icon size value (Display Properties Appearance Advanced Icon). The default for XP seems to be 32 and the ListView and its thumbnails look fine, but with higher Icon sizes, the items are spaced out horrendously. Is there any way to override this behavior and force it to use the same spacing?

  • prevent UIWebView inputs from displaying UIKeyboard without disabling user interaction

    I have a UIWebView that loads and external product configuration web service UI that is basically a bunch of dependent Drop Down lists. The problem is the Drop Downs are basically enhanced text input's so when the user taps them to display the options the UIKeyboard keeps popping up and own after they make their selection. it is less than a fluid process. Is there anyway to suppress the html inputs from triggering the UIKeyboard?

  • Jquery galleria - make the first image in the gallery appear automatically

    I've added the excellent galleria-plugin to a website I'm working on. However unlike the demo, I've been unable to make the first image display automatically on page-load. Currently, you have to click an image, before one will appear, after that everything works as expected. And yes, I've tried setting the class of the first image to "active", but without that having any effect. Is there anything obvious I'm missing ?
