    I get the following error when i am logged into the backend in magento Fatal error: Interface 'Zend_Http_Client_Adapter_Interface' not found in /homepages/45/d210005774/htdocs/websitename/lib/Varien/Http/Adapter/Curl.php on line 176 Also i got this error previously in my index management section in magento Fatal error: Call to undefined method Zend_Locale_Data::disableCache() in /homepages/45/d210005774/htdocs/websitename/lib/Zend/Locale/Format.php on line 153 Could anyone help me out with this? I think the problem is to do with zend framework but i am not sure whats causing this

  • Is it possible to exclude some files from checkin (TFS) ?

    We use configuration files within various projects under source control (TFS), where each developer has to make some adjustments in his local copy to configure his environment. The build process takes care about replacing the config files with the server configuration as a part of the deployment, so it doesn't actually matter what is in the repository. However, we would anyway like to keep some kind of a default non-breaking version of config files in the repository, so that e.g. people not involved in the particular project won't run into troubles because of local misconfiguration. We tried to resolve this by introducing the check-in policy that simply forbids to check-in the config files. This works fine, but just because we're lazy to always uncheck those checkboxes in the pending changes window, the question comes : is it possible to transparently disable the check-in of particular files without keeping them out of source control (e.g. locking their current version) ?

We want to create a simple admin app to allow certain users to create new users, disable old users, and manage specific permissions for those users, but we feel that SQL Server Management Studio is perhaps too complex.

But DllMain function of MFC Extension DLL is dynamically allocating the memory for CDynLinkLibrary in the code snippet available at MSDN "http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/1btd5ea3%28v=VS.80%29.aspx". Is it a violation of Dll Best Practices or ok to use in MFC extension DLL? thanks

  • Is it possible to make a subclass of NSObject which support subnodes in IB for iPhone project?

    I'm making a custom UI element class for iPhone. It'll cool to edit my class on Interface Builder with hierarchy. Some of my class is management class like UINavigationController, but they're not one of them, subclasses from NSObject. Of course, I can place a NSObject instance on IB, but it cannot have a child node. Is there a way to enable adding child node to subclass of NSObject?

    I've got an Asp.net MVC app and before being able to go live, the IT have requested for us to comply with their password policy. The flexibility of AspnetSqlMembershipProvider doesn’t quite satisfy the requirement. The password strength and length rules are as follows: one lowercase one Uppercase one number and or special character 8 characters in length so far, aspnetsqlmembershipprovider is good... Not allowed to use: Dictionary words Names, real or fictional Plain language phrases Dates Telephone numbers Car registration numbers User IDs Postal codes Organization name Only the first 4 criteria are satisfied by the aspnetsqlmembershipprovider. Do you know of any third party products that offers this functionality (preferably in the form of a custom membership provider)?

    I'm trying to drop a SQL Server database from .NET code. I've tried using the SMO classes but get an exception saying the database is in use. Then I tried executing a query (opening a SqlConnection, executing a SqlCommand), along the lines of: ALTER DATABASE foo SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE (pause) DROP DATABASE foo But still I get an exception saying the database is in use. How do I do this? (Or, how does SQL Server Management Studio implement the Drop database and close existing connections?)

  • Is ReaderWriterLockSlim.EnterUpgradeableReadLock() essentially the same as Monitor.Enter()?

    So I have a situation where I may have many, many reads and only the occasional write to a resource shared between multiple threads. A long time ago I read about ReaderWriterLock, and have read about ReaderWriterGate which attempts to mitigate the issue where many writes coming in trump reads and hurt performance. However, now I've become aware of ReaderWriterLockSlim... From the docs, I believe that there can only be one thread in "upgradeable mode" at any one time. In a situation where the only access I'm using is EnterUpgradeableReadLock() (which is appropriate for my scenario) then is there much difference to just sticking with lock(){}? Here's the excerpt: A thread that tries to enter upgradeable mode blocks if there is already a thread in upgradeable mode, if there are threads waiting to enter write mode, or if there is a single thread in write mode. Or, does the recursion policy make any difference to this?

    Hi I'm interested to find out what would be the good way to make changes to production database and source code in web application (ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008). A little bit more details, we develop on local machines, and then we need to transfer the code and database changes to production (pretty much standard story). At the moment we do it in the evening, change the database directly from management studio on production server, and then just overwrite the existing asp.net code (copy/past). Thanks

    I am developing a Delphi documents management application, so somehow I am giving the user some functionality similar to windows explorer. I would like to know if there is a way to get the preview used by windows explorer. For example windows explorer creates a small thumbnail for a pdf document for example, and displays it when the user chooses to view "big icons". Is there a way to retrieve that preview?     In my 2nd ASP.NET MVC project I'm facing a very weird problem: when I call the SubmitChanges method of the DataContext class, nothing updates in the database. It's weird because everything works fine with my first project. I'm using a remote database created in Sql Server Management Studio, I tried doing some queries there and in Visual Studio 2010 (where I have the connection to the database), they all work. Where might the problem be hidden?

The data in question would be arrays of simple structures.
