  • Become UIScrollViewDelegate delegate for UITableView

    I have a UITableView instance variable. I want to be able to register my view controller to be the UIScrollViewDelegate for my UITableView controller. I have already tried tableView.delegate = self; But when scrolling, my methods - (void)scrollViewDidEndDecelerating:(UIScrollView *)scrollView - (void)scrollViewDidEndDragging:(UIScrollView *)scrollView willDecelerate:(BOOL)decelerate don't get called. Any suggestions?

  • Global Temporary Table Concurrency

    Hi, I have a global temp table which is set as delete on commit. How does it behave on concurrency issue? I mean what happens if another session wants to use that global temporary table? The answer will probably not be "they share the same data". Now, if my guess is correct :), is the table locked until the first connection commits, or does the dbms create a global temp table for each connection? ( something like an instance of the table? )

    Database: DB2 v9.5 on AIX Scenario: I have 2 instances- db2inst1 and db2inst2. I created db2inst1 first. I went ahead and created db2inst2 next and I do 'db2set -all' on db2inst2 instance I see this: [g] DB2INSTDEF=db2inst1 I would like to reset DB2INSTDEF and make it not show up when I do 'db2set -all' (other than dropping and recreating db2inst1).     Can a compound key be set as a primary key to another table? For instance i have the tables: Books -with Primary Key:Product_ID Client -with Primary key: Client_ID Clients_Books -with Compound Primary Key:Product_Id and Client_ID I want to set this compound Primary key from Clients_Books as a Primary Key to another table named: Order_Details. But I don't want to use the Product_ID and the Client_ID from the Books, Clients tables. Does this make sense? All opinions more than welcome.

If I use the Google Ajax WebSearch API with, for instance, "Dummy Search" as phrase, my resultset is a different one than if I perform the same phrase over google.com. How can that be?   • COM IUnknown and do I need a pointer to it first before calling CoGetClassObject?

    In COM, when you want to create an instance of some COM Server object, do you first need to get a pointer to it's IUnknown interface and only then create a class object using CoGetClassObject? As far as I understand it, IUnknown is used to manage object lifetimes, so from my understanding, whatever object the client wants to create, one needs a pointer to it's IUnknown interface implementation first. Sound correct? If not, can anyone tell me how it works?

  • spring mvc 3.0 small web application not quite working

    Hi, i'm creating a very simple (hello World quality) web application using spring mvc 3.0. when deploying the application on tomcat 6.0.26 and i try to open http://localhost:8080/protoweb/helloWorld.html i get 404, resource /protoweb/WEB-INF/jsp/helloWorld.jsp is not available.   • Quartz job fires multiple times

    Hi, I have a building block which sets up a Quartz job to send out emails every morning. The job is fired three times every morning instead of once. We have a hosted instance of Blackboard, which I am told runs on three virtual servers. I am guessing this is what is causing the problem, as the building block was previously working fine on a single server installation. Does anyone have Quartz experience, or could suggest how one might prevent the job from firing multiple times? Thanks,

    I have a polymorphic association (Class Table Inheritance) and I need use DQL to query entities of a specific child class wich can be done using "x INSTANCE OF Entity" in WHERE clause. Now I need to put conditions specific for that child class but I get this error: "Class Person has no association named student_field_1" Person = Parent Class Employee = Child class Student = Child class is there any way yo cast of somehow tell Doctrine that the Person is actually a Student and to allow me to put Student fields in the WHERE?

I want to purchase this flash piano but i would have to change some of its functionality so I need to make sure it's possible before i purchase.     I have a NSTextField within a Window and I created a very simple MacRuby delegate: class ServerInputDelegate attr_accessor :parent def textDidChange(notification) NSLog notification.inspect parent.filter end end And I have tried setting the control's delegate: I have tried setting the Window and every other object I could think of to this delegate. I have also tried setting it to other delegates (application for instance) and events like applicationDidFinishLaunching are being properly triggered. Is there any trick I am missing in order for this event to be triggered every time the contents of this NSTextField changes?

  • problem with linked libraries or classes??

    i recently finished one project..now when i create a new navigation project in xcode and try to run it in simulator the application crashes and error in debugger window shows that i am missing some classes which i had used in my previous project(not in this one) and in some cases it gives Couldn't register com.yourcompany.GuessGame with the bootstrap server. Error: unknown error code. This generally means that another instance of this process was already running or is hung in the debugger. is this some problem related to linked libraries??
