• Java swing doesn't show changes to source

  I'm using Java Swing graphical editor with netbeans to make my project...but using it brings some limitations like I can't add to a jpanel an image,using java swing options. So i'll need to code it, implementing a new jPanel. My problem is that the code generated by the java swing graphical editor can't be edited so instead of adding the new JPanel code in the initComponents() section I'm doing it after this function is called in the constructor of my main JPanel. But any code I add is not recognized by the "Designer" which means that after making my coded objects I can't use them in the "Designer" and everything must be coded, which is a pain considering how much easier is previewing and moving elements in the "Designer" tool. How can I code what I want but steel appear in the "DEsigner"? Thx in advance

  When I define a to many relationship between entities in Xcode and then generate the data class from the entity I get a header with the following methods defined: @interface PriceList (CoreDataGeneratedAccessors) - (void)addItemsObject:(PriceListItem *)value; - (void)removeItemsObject:(PriceListItem *)value; - (void)addItems:(NSSet *)value; - (void)removeItems:(NSSet *)value; @end When I attempt to call addItemsObject with the following code a doesNotRecognizeSelector exception is thrown. Any ideas?

The text is based upon database IDs contained in the querystring. There will be a limited number of variations. Which one of the following would be the most efficient means of returning the image to the client? Store each variation upon the first generation, and thenceforth retrieve this from the drive. Simply generate the image each time. Cache the output response based upon the querystring.

On the click of edit button, save button button must be enabled. The problem is i cannot assign id's to buttons since the table is dynamically generated using struts2 s:iterator tag. If i do there will be 2 or more cells with the same id How can I achieve this?

  I am using rails beta 3 and I have a erb page named index.html.erb for discussions controller. In that page, I have a link as following: <%= link_to 'Delete', {:action='destroy', :id=@discussion}, :confirm="Are you sure", :method='post' % Which is supposed to generate a link to delete a discussion, however, the generated html is Delete which always routes to the show action. I think the href should be /discussions/destroy/1. But for some reason it is not. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  Hey Guys - I'm trying to find an easy way(without having to write any plugins or overrides to Rails) to generate an absolute url to a rails application being in a subdirectory. This url is going to be generated for theme images, not links, so I can't url link_to or url_for. Here's an example of what I want to do: <%= theme_image("delete_icon.png", :theme => "my_theme") %> If my app is running at http://localhost, This would return: <img src="/themes/my_theme/images/delete_icon.png"> but If my app is running at http://localhost/myapp, This would return: <img src="/myapp/themes/my_theme/images/delete_icon.png"> Can anyone point me in the right direction to generate a dynamic, absolute url to a non-routed resource?

• Restructured Text - adding title attributes to links

  Hi all, I am trying to use a jquery lightbox implementation on my website that is generated from Restructured Text. The lightbox takes the title of the link around the images as the caption of the image in the lightbox display. However, I can't seem to find a way in Restructured Text of providing a title attribute on a link - does anyone know of a way of doing so. My Images are defined like so: .. image:: image001.thumb.jpg :alt: Some alt text here :target: image001.jpg So I can add an alt attribute, but not a title. A possible alternative may be to use a target as the reference like so: .. image:: image001.thumb.jpg :alt: Some alt text here :target: image1_ .. _image1: image001.jpg In this latter case, I am not sure how to add attributes to the link defined at the bottom (if it is possible at all)

• jquery ajax call: multiple links load data into one div

  I have a dynamically generated list of links. Each link will request a different page to load. Depending on the link clicked I want it to fill the div with an ajax .load call. The thing is I want all links to reset and fill the same div. I am having trouble doing this without making a seperate div for each link, which isn't what I'm looking for. • SetWindowLongPtr with DialogBoxParam?

  Hey all- A while back I was writing a C++ program with the Win32 API that would display a dialog box and then listen to the messages it generated. At one point, I was interested in associating a piece of data with the dialog window. Were I manually creating the window and attaching a window proc, I'd just use SetWindowLongPtr to set the GWLP_USERDATA field to a pointer to the data to associate. However, in this case I was creating and displaying the window with DialogBoxParam, and it wasn't clear whether this function was associating that data with its own internal state. Since the MSDN didn't have a description of what would happen in this case, I ended up using some other approach to solve the problem. My question is this - is it safe to use SetWindowLongPtr to overwrite the GWLP_USERDATA value in a window created by DialogBoxParam? Thanks!

• facebook and twitter buttons doesn't work

  I am building a website in dreamweaver cs5. for some reason, the facebook like button and twitter share as well as follow button doesn't work. facebook like button shows nothing. (in the area, chrome says page cannot be found), twitter buttons show the hyperlink tweet and it tweets but the icon doesn't show up. The code for both are generated from facebook and twitter itself. I haven't hosted the site yet. I and coding and previewing it. Is that the reason for them not to work? I also tried addthis.com widget. It didn't show up as it should have. Please help! • How do I specify a wildcard (for ANY character) in a c# regex statement?

  Trying to use a wildcard in C# to grab information from a webpage source, but I cannot seem to figure out what to use as the wildcard character. Nothing I've tried works! The wildcard only needs to allow for numbers, but as the page is generated the same every time, I may as well allow for any characters. • Map a property in the entity framework to a different type

  I have a SQL Server 2008 database. I have a bunch of fields in TableA that are just strings that corresponds to booleans. So every value is either true or false. The edmx I generated using Entity Framework 4.0 has them as strings. This is technically correct but I would like to have them mapped as Booleans instead. Is this possible? If so how can I accomplish this? Thanks much!

However I need to include only the latest jpg file. Unfortunately the webcam creates a unique filename for each jpg. How can I use include or another function to only include the latest image file? (Typically the filename is something like this 2011011011231101.jpg where it stands for year_month_date_timestamp).

  In my PHP Web-App I use sessions to store the user's data. For exmaple, if a user logs in, then an instance of the User class is generated and stored in a Session. I have access levels associated with each user to determine their privileges. Store the user in a session by: $_SESSION['currentUser'] = new User($_POST['username']); For example: if($_SESSION['currentUser'] -> getAccessLevel() == 1) { //allow administration functions } where getAccessLevel() is simply a get method in the User class that returns the _accesslevel member variable. Is this secure? Or can the client somehow modify their access level through session manipulation of some sort?

  I have an Email body that used to be plain text, but now I've made it HTML. The emails are generated using a number of methods and none of them are easy to convert. What I'd like to do is create a function that automatically encloses all email addresses and all URLs withing a string in HREF tags so that the HTML email reads properly in all email clients.   I have a method that returns an NSRange. When I call this method from outside the class I get a compile error. The compiler says 'incompatible types in assignment'. Can anyone explain this to me? I assume it has to do with returning an NSRange/struct type value generated outside the object, but I don't know why it works in one place and not the other.

• How do I get a list of all languages that my Windows Forms application has been localized to?

  I have localized localized a Form into two language by setting the Localizable property to True and setting the Language from (Default) to (Dutch(Netherlands)), and I changed the control texts. Visual Studio generated the resource files and compiles them into the application. I need to get a simple list of all the languages that my form has been localized into. Currently it would be just two English and Dutch, but more may come. I need to programatically get a list of "what languages my application is localized into". Do I look into the resource files or use ResourceManager or what? Thanks!

• Any way to not break on certain errors in Visual Studio 2010?

  I'm working on a VS2010 project where I'm using DataAnnotations on my objects to handle validation. However, this is sort of a pain in the butt while trying to do interactive debugging because it keeps pausing VS.Net on validation errors. Obviously, I want to break on some errors, but not these particular types. Am I out of luck and I just need to turn on and off my Break on All Errors setting? Or is there some way to tell VS to just ignore these when they happen? (these are errors generated via Validator.ValidateProperty calls.) Thanks

  Hello, I have a form (with post method) that takes the following input: - a certain name - a number - 3 checkboxes All this input gets generated and calculated in a table.(html code within the php) Everything gets properly calculated and displayed in a table. So my question: How do i make it possible after giving all those input to give in more input? Meaning i have made a hyperlink that goes back to the form itself (where i can give the input). So i can give in new data, and after submiting that again the table now contains 2 rows of values insteed of just 1. Not really sure what exactly i need for this. Regards.

  To represent our course tree structure in our Linq Dataclasses we have 2 columns that could potentially be the same as the PK. My problem is that if I want to Insert a new record and populate 2 other columns with the PK that was generated there is no way I can get the next identity and stop conflict with other administrators who might be doing the same insert at the same time. • Best practices for storing & selecting time/date with php & mysql?

  I often find myself storing data in a mysql database, and then wanting to display all sorts of stats about my data, specifically stuff like 'how many rows do I have for this date, or that date'. Does anyone know of (or could write) a good tutorial on this subject? Ideally a good tutorial would overview: Best practices when storing the data (i.e. what formats to use, how to use them servertime vs. generated time, etc.) Best practices when selecting data from the database with php (i.e. how to sort rows by date, how to retrieve only rows from a certain date, or a certain hour, etc).. Timezones and other issues that might come up. Thanks in advance.
