• How to mark multiple coordinates in KML using Java?

  I'm working on a project that involves KML creation using Java. Currently, I'm fooling with the sample Java code from the KML example at Micromata Labs JAK Example. I tried to "extend" the code by adding multiple coordinates and getting two markers, but I could not get it to work. Can you please tell me how I can add multiple coordinates and put markers on them, and also, draw a line between the markers. Thank you for your help! PS: I need to do this via the program. I saw sample code of them using DOM and XML, but not pure Java/JAK as such. Please guide me. I got as far as this: kml .createAndSetDocument().withName("My Markers"). createAndAddPlacemark().withName("London, UK").withOpen(Boolean.TRUE) .createAndSetPoint().addToCoordinates(-0.126236, 51.500152); kml.createAndSetPlacemark() .withName("Somewhere near London, UK").withOpen(Boolean.TRUE) .createAndSetPoint().addToCoordinates(-0.129800,52.700152); But I know I'm going wrong somewhere. • In a combobox, how do I determine the highlighted item (not selected item)?

  First, fair warning: I am a complete newbie with C# and WPF. I have a combobox (editable, searchable) and I would like to be able to intercept the Delete key and remove the currently highlighted item from the list. The behavior I'm looking for is like that of MS Outlook when entering in email addresses. When you give a few characters, a dropdown list of potential matches is displayed. If you move to one of these (with the arrow keys) and hit Delete, that entry is permanently removed. I want to do that with an entry in the combobox. Here is the XAML (simplified): <ComboBox x:Name="Directory" KeyUp="Directory_KeyUp" IsTextSearchEnabled="True" IsEditable="True" Text="{Binding Path=CurrentDirectory, Mode=TwoWay}" ItemsSource="{Binding Source={x:Static self:Properties.Settings.Default}, Path=DirectoryList, Mode=TwoWay}" / The handler is: private void Directory_KeyUp(object sender, KeyEventArgs e) { ComboBox box = sender as ComboBox; if (box.IsDropDownOpen && (e.Key == Key.Delete)) { TrimCombobox("DirectoryList", box.HighlightedItem); // won't compile! } } When using the debugger, I can see box.HighlightedItem has the value I want but when I try and put in that code, it fails to compile with: System.Windows.Controls.ComboBox' does not contain a definition for 'HighlightedItem'... So: how do I access that value? Keep in mind that the item has not been selected. It is merely highlighted as the mouse hovers over it. Thanks for your help.

• How to deploy to multiple redundant production servers with "cap deploy"?

  Capistrano is working great to deploy to a single server. However, I have multiple production API servers for my web application. When I deploy, my code needs to get deployed to every API server at once. Specifying each server manually is NOT the solution I am looking for (e.g. I don't want to do "cap api1 deploy; cap api2 deploy"). Is there a way, using Capistrano, to deploy to all servers at once, with just a simple "cap deploy"? I'm wondering what changes I would need to make to a typical deploy.rb file, whether I'd need to create a separate file for each server, and whether and how the Capfile would need to be changed. Also, I need to be able to specify a different deploy_to path for each server. And ideally, I wouldn't have to repeat things in different config files for different servers (eg. wouldn't have to specify :repository, :application, etc. multiple times). I have spent hours searching Google on this and looking through tutorials, but I have found nothing helpful. • Compiling GWT 2.6.1 at Java 7 source level

  I've recently updated my GWT project to 2.6.1, and started to make use of Java 7 syntax since 2.6 now supports Java 7. However, when I attempt to compile, I'm receiving compiler errors such as [ERROR] Line 42: '<>' operator is not allowed for source level below 1.7 How do I specify the GWT compiler to target 1.7? I was under the impression that it would do that by default, but I guess not. I've attempted cleaning the project, including deleting the gwt-unitCache directory but to no avail.   I am using this IP Validation Function that I came across while browsing, it has been working well until today i ran into a problem. For some reason the function won't validate this IP as valid: 203.81.192.26 I'm not too great with regular expressions, so would appreciate any help on what could be wrong.   Dear Everyone, I have the following data: CREATE TABLE `groups` ( `bookID` INT NOT NULL, `groupID` INT NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY(`bookID`), KEY( `groupID`) ); and a book table which basically has books( bookID, name, ... ), but WITHOUT groupID. There is no way for me to determine what the groupID is at the time of the insert for books. I want to do this in sqlalchemy. Hence I tried mapping Book to the books joined with groups on book.bookID=groups.bookID. I made the following: tb_groups = Table( 'groups', metadata, Column('bookID', Integer, ForeignKey('books.bookID'), primary_key=True ), Column('groupID', Integer), ) tb_books = Table( 'books', metadata, Column('bookID', Integer, primary_key=True), tb_joinedBookGroup = sql.join( tb_books, tb_groups, \ tb_books.c.bookID == tb_groups.c.bookID) and defined the following mapper: mapper( Group, tb_groups, properties={ 'books': relation(Book, backref='group') }) mapper( Book, tb_joinedBookGroup ) ... However, when I execute this piece of code, I realized that each book object has a field groups, which is a list, and each group object has books field which is a singular assigment. I think my definition here must have been causing sqlalchemy to be confused about the many-to-one vs one-to-many relationship. Can someone help me sort this out? Now, I want to add a tooltip for every control. The content of the tooltip should be same as for the helptext extension. • Visual Studio 2010: Is it possible to force editor to use ANSI rather than UTF-8?

  I am having issues with some files in automated processes, specifically with batch files and sql files. Visual Studio seems to create these as UTF-8 rather than ansi and adds some kind of special characters to the beginning of the file (I think this is a called a pre-amble) This breaks running batch files and running swl files through osql.exe. I have had issues myself in the past in creating text files using C#, but can get around that through encoding. However its seems a bit strange I cant use Visual studio to create batch files and sql files in a database project for automation.

  I'm developing a Maven 3 plugin and I want to exclude some dependencies, and their transitive dependencies, when a configuration is set to true in the plugin. I don't want to use <exclusions> in the POM itself, even in a profile. I want to exclude those dependencies programatically. In fact, what I want is to prevent the dependency jars to be included in the final war (I'm building a war), when a plugin configuration is set to true.   Sorry that I could not compile jsfiddle because it's jsf application hosted locally and code is dependent on data from jsf application. Although I have arrange part of it and part if it as snippet here. Now Everything's correct in Firefox. Suddenly when I open it in chrome something happened. The text on raphael paper suddenly gets scattered in the paper. It's not where it's meant to be. This happens when I convert svg to image and again generate svg. Everything works fine in Firefox.   My one of friend said that his server load average sometime goes above 500-1000, for me it is strange value because I never saw load average more than 10. On mouseup, the div then starts resizing "cooldiv" on mousemove without any mousedown required, until a further click of the mouse. These problems don't show up in Internet Explorer.

  Hi, I have a resizable div with the video width and height 100% of the div. I can resize it using the corners but I want to control this with a ui slider and maintain the "aspectRatio: 16/9" that .resizable() provides. • Two Objects created with the same Address in Flex

  Hi, I have an issue in flex which is causing a bit of a headache! I am adding objects to an ArrayCollection but in doing so, another ArrayCollection is also picking up these changes even though there is no binding occurring. I can see from the debug that the two ACs have the same address but for the life of me can't figure out why. I have two Array Collections: model.index.rows //The main array collection model.index.holdRows //The array collection that imitates the above This phantom data binding occurs only for the first iteration in the loop and for all others it will just write it the once. How can I remove it?
