    Hi, I have XAMPP installed in local laptop. And I have a almost static ip. I would like to give the ip to other to run it from thier browser. I configured apache httpd-vhosts.conf to listen my ip address:80 and added the virtual server with the ip address and domain root to local httdocs directory and the servername as localhost. Apache doesn't start. what should I do to access my website from external computer. THnks

I have an asp.net application that is secured by SSL encryption. So using the asp.net from an open wlan connection is no problem.     I'm doing an IE automation using WatiN. When a file to be downloaded is clicked, I get the following in the Internet Explorer Information bar: To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to you computer. I added a registry key to, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\ then a REG_DWORD value named "http" with value==2 as given in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/972345/programmatically-add-trusted-sites-to-internet-explorer but still facing same issues. Can some1 advice on this....

When i execute msg from cmd everything works fine, but when i open cmd with the form i am unable to, went to the system32 folder with cmd and the file is not shown there, but when i browse or use cmd normally it is and evrything works tested it on another computer and app works fine, running win 7 64 bit on this 1.   • Why nginx doesn't have log for mobile request which is developed under Titanium Appcelerator?

    I have sent a request from both iphone and android platform to nginx server nginx/0.7.67 + Phusion Passenger 2.2.15 with this code in ruby: log_format main '$remote_addr - $remote_user [$time_local] "$request" ' '$status $body_bytes_sent "$http_referer" ' '"$http_user_agent" "$http_x_forwarded_for"'; but when I check on /conf/nginx.conf file I didn't see any log appears. However when I request from computer browser, I can see the log in nginx.conf file. Any one has met this problem and please give me some suggestions? Thank you.

    I have a need to create a utility in Suze Linux. The utility will make modifications to some text files, and then use the information in those text files to program a device in the computer using a different executable which accepts command line parameters. I am fluent in c#, but have never worked with Linux. Should I take the time to learn Gnu C++ to do this, or install Mono? How would I execute the programming utility and pass it command line parameters?

  • TFS 2005 version control DLLs in the bin folder?

    I noticed that the DLLs in the bin folder for asp.net websites do not seem to be getting saved. When I goto a new computer and get latest I am missing the DLLs. What is the correct way to fix this ? Should I create a seperate folder to contains all DLLs ? And then can I somehow tell my bin references to goto that folder to get the DLLs?

    I've used virtualenvwrapper, but I'm having problems running it on a new computer. My .bashrc file is updated per the instructions: export WORKON_HOME=$DEV_HOME/projects source /usr/local/bin/virtualenvwrapper.sh But when source is run, I get the following: bash: /25009.hook: Permission denied bash: /25009.hook: No such file or directory This previous post leads me to believe the filename is being recycled and locked because virtualenvwrapper.sh uses $$. Is there any way to fix this?

    I'm writing for an atmel at91sam9260 arm 9 cored single board computer [glomation gesbc9260] Using request_mem_region(0xFFFFFC00,0x100,"name"); //port range runs from fc00 to fcff that works fine and shows up in /proc/iomem then i try to write to the last bit of the port at fc20 with writel(0x1, 0xFFFFFC20); and i segfault...specifically "unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address fffffc20. I'm of the mind that i'm not allocating the right memory space... any helpful insight would be great...

    I have installed XAMPP on my computer which is Windows 8 pro. I use to work with Windows 7 every time I run the index.php file on Windows 8 it shows the code on the browser IE10. Here is what I have done: I have named the file correctly: index.php I have installed the server and saved the files inside c:/xampp/htdocs/PHP/ I have used to open and close all PHP tags and everything else seems working fine, like, PHPMyAdmin, and the Ini file I don't know whats wrong and it is driving me crazy ...
