  I have changed my joomla and wordpress files from old server to new server. In the front end and admin side its working without any errors. But in the Database (phpmyadmin) Section it shows some warning messages like this.. Warning: strtotime() [function.strtotime]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier.   In a JSF 2.1 + PrimeFaces 3.2 web application, I need to trigger a JavaScript function after a p:dataTable is loaded. I know that there is no such event in this component, so I have to find a workaround. In order to better understand the scenario, on page load the dataTable is not rendered. It is rendered after a successful login: <p:commandButton value="Login" update=":aComponentHoldingMyDataTable" action="#{loginBean.login}" oncomplete="handleLoginRequest(xhr, status, args)"/> As you can see from the above code, I have a JavaScript hook after the successful login, if it can be of any help. Immediately after the oncomplete action has finished, the update attribute renders the dataTable: <p:dataTable var="person" value="#{myBean.lazyModel}" rendered="#{p:userPrincipal() != null}" /> After the datatable is loaded, I need to run a JavaScript function on each row item, in order to subscribe to a cometD topic. In theory I could use the oncomplete attribute of the login Button for triggering a property from myBean in order to retrieve once again the values to be displayed in the dataTable, but it doesn't seem very elegant.   I have to make a custom function for search/replace text, because firefox counts text nodes differently than IE, Google Chrome, etc.. I am trying to use this code, that I saw at Firefox WhiteSpace Issue since in my other function, I am looping numerically through nodes, which serves my functional needs perfectly, in other browsers. But refuses to work, as part of a search/replace function that takes place after some ajax content is loaded. • python crc32 woes

  I'm writing a python program to extract data from the middle of a 6 GB bz2 file. A bzip2 file is made up of independently decryptable blocks of data, so I only need to find a block (they are delimited by magic bits), then create a temporary one-block bzip2 file from it in memory, and finally pass that to the bz2.decompress function. Easy, no? The bzip2 format has a crc32 checksum for the file at the end. No problem, binascii.crc32 to the rescue. But wait. The data to be checksummed does not necessarily end on a byte boundary, and the crc32 function operates on a whole number of bytes. My plan: use the binascii.crc32 function on all but the last byte, and then a function of my own to update the computed crc with the last 1-7 bits. But hours of coding and testing has left me bewildered, and my puzzlement can be boiled down to this question: how come crc32("\x00") is not 0x00000000? Shouldn't it be, according to the wikipedia article? You start with 0b00000000 and pad with 32 0's, then do polynomial division with 0x04C11DB7 until there are no ones left in the first 8 bits, which is immediately. Your last 32 bits is the checksum, and how can that not be all zeroes? I've searched google for answers and looked at the code of several crc32 implementations without finding any clue to why this is so.

• Javascript Getting Objects to Fallback to One Another

  Here's a ugly bit of Javascript it would be nice to find a workaround. Javascript has no classes, and that is a good thing. But it implements fallback between objects in a rather ugly way. The foundational construct should be to have one object that, when a property fails to be found, it falls back to another object. So if we want a to fall back to b we would want to do something like: a = {sun:1}; b = {dock:2}; a.__fallback__ = b; then a.dock == 2; But, Javascript instead provides a new operator and prototypes. So we do the far less elegant: function A(sun) { this.sun = sun; }; A.prototype.dock = 2; a = new A(1); a.dock == 2; But aside from elegance, this is also strictly less powerful, because it means that anything created with A gets the same fallback object. What I would like to do is liberate Javascript from this artificial limitation and have the ability to give any individual object any other individual object as its fallback. That way I could keep the current behavior when it makes sense, but use object-level inheritance when that makes sense. My initial approach is to create a dummy constructor function: function setFallback(from_obj, to_obj) { from_obj.constructor = function () {}; from_obj.constructor.prototype = to_obj; } a = {sun:1}; b = {dock:2}; setFallback(a, b); But unfortunately: a.dock == undefined; Any ideas why this doesn't work, or any solutions for an implementation of setFallback?   I am using CDATA to escape the script but in IE8's debugger I still get this message: "Expected ')'" in the for loop conditions. I am assuming it still thinks that the ; in the &lt; generated by CDATA is ending the loop conditions.   I use rich domain model in my app. The basic ideas were taken there. For example I have User and Comment entities. So the question is how can I organize pagination through model data (getComments). Is there a "beatiful" method to get comments from 5 to 10, not all, as getComments returns by default.

  I've been struggling to make it work, but cannot pass the inserted data from the controler to the view in CI using JSON. The input value from the form is successfully inserted into the database, but cannot make it appear in the view. • callbacks via objective-c selectors

  I have a "BSjax" class that I wrote that lets me make async calls to our server to get json result sets, etc using the ASIHTTPRequest class. I set it up so that the BSjax class parses my server's json response, then passes control back to the calling view controller via this call: [[self delegate] performSelectorOnMainThread:@selector(bsRequestFinished:) withObject:self waitUntilDone:YES]; ... where "bsRequestFinished" is the callback method in the calling view controller. This all worked fine and well until I realized that some pages are going to need to make different types of requests... i.e. I'll want to do different types of things in that callback function depending on which type of request was made. To me it seems like being able to pass different callback function names to my BSjax class would be the cleanest fix... but I'm having trouble (and am not even sure if it's possible) to pass in a variable that holds the callback function name and then replace the call above with something like this: [[self delegate] performSelectorOnMainThread:@selector(self.variableCallbackFunctionName) withObject:self waitUntilDone:YES]; ... where "self.variableCallbackFunctionName" is set by the calling view controller when it calls BSjax to make a new request. Is this even possible? If so, advisable? If not, alternatives? EDIT: Note that whatever fix I arrive at will need to take into account the reality that this class is making async requests... so I need to make sure that the callback function processing is correctly tied to the specific requests... as I can't rely on FIFO processing sequence.

• Google maps KM bounds box reapplying itself on map zoom

  I have a map in which I apply a custom overlay using KMbox overlay to signify where I think the users general point of interest lies. What I want is to display this map to the user and allow them to click on the map to give me an exact location match of their POI. This all works fine except for when the user clicks on the map and changes the zoom of the map. • SSRS code variable resetting on new page

  In SSRS 2008 I am trying to maintain a SUM of SUMs on a group using custom Code. The reason is that I have a table of data, grouped and returning SUMs of the data. I have a filter on the group to remove lines where group sums are zero. Everything works except I'm running into problems with the group totals - it should be summing the visible group totals but is instead summing the entire dataset. There's tons of articles about how to work around this, usually using custom code. I've made custom functions and variables to maintain a counter: Public Dim GroupMedTotal as Integer Public Dim GrandMedTotal as Integer Public Function CalcMedTotal(ThisValue as Integer) as Integer GroupMedTotal = GroupMedTotal + ThisValue GrandMedTotal = GrandMedTotal + ThisValue Return ThisValue End Function Public Function ReturnMedSubtotal() as Integer Dim ThisValue as Integer = GroupMedTotal GroupMedTotal = 0 Return ThisValue End Function Basically CalcMedTotal is fed a SUM of a group, and maintains a running total of that sum. Then in the group total line I output ReturnMedSubtotal which is supposed to give me the accumulated total and reset it for the next group. This actually works great, EXCEPT - it is resetting the GroupMedTotal value on each page break. I don't have page breaks explicitly set, it's just the natural break in the SSRS viewer. And if I export the results to Excel everything works and looks correctly. If I output Code.GroupMedTotal on each group row, I see it count correctly, and then if a group spans multiple pages on the next page GroupMedTotal is reset and begins counting from zero again. Any help in what's going on or how to work around this? Thanks!

• C# to unmanaged dll data structures interop

  I have a unmanaged DLL that exposes a function that takes a pointer to a data structure. I have C# code that creates the data structure and calls the dll function without any problem. At the point of the function call to the dll the pointer is correct. My problem is that the DLL keeps the pointer to the structure and uses the data structure pointer at a later point in time. When the DLL comes to use the pointer it has become invalid (I assume the .net runtime has moved the memory somewhere else). What are the possible solutions to this problem? The possible solutions I can think of are: Fix the memory location of the data structure somehow? I don't know how you would do this in C# or even if you can. Allocate memory manually so that I have control over it e.g. using Marshal.AllocHGlobal Change the DLL function contract to copy the structure data (this is what I'm currently doing as a short term change, but I don't want to change the dll at all if I can help it as it's not my code to begin with). Are there any other better solutions?

  Hey, I have a function which calls a users associated users from a table. The function then uses the rand(); function to chose from the array 5 randomly selected userID's however!... In the case where a user doesnt have many associated users but above the min (if below the 5 it just returns the array as it is) then it gives bad results due to repeat rand numbers... How can overcome this or exclude a previously selected rand number from the next rand(); function call. Here is the section of code doing the work. • Wasteful Ajax Page Loading

  I've started a new job, and the portion of the project I'm working has a very odd structure. Every pages is a .Net aspx page, and it loads just fine, but nothing is really done at load time. Everything is really loaded from a jquery document.onready handler. What is even more...interesting...is that the onready handler calls some ajax calls that drop entire .aspx pages into divs on the page, but first it strips out several parts of the the returned page. I mean, how does a browser take out the html and head and other tags that don't have anything to do with what you are really trying to drop into that div? Also, he's returning things like asp:gridview controls, and the associate viewstate, which can be quite large if his dataset is big. Has anyone seen this before?

  I am developing Phonegap application and currently i am using InAppBrowser to display external pages. On some of the external pages I place a close button and i want to close the InAppBrowser itself. because InAppBrowser displays these pages that is why the reference of it is not accessed on itself to close it and Please do not suggest me to use ChildBrowser Plugin. window.close(); //Not Worked for me or iabRef.close(); //Also not Worked for me because iabRef is not accessible on InAppBrowser. It is created on Parent Window Some of the Android device and iOS device display a Done Button to close it. As well as the iPad also display the Done button. but in Case of Android tablet there is not any kind of button to close it.   In my Zend Framework project, I have a form that I am testing. In my form, a multi-select element gets its options from a model, which gets the data from the database. public function init() { $this->addElement('select', 'Region_ID', array('multiOptions' => $this->getRegions())); } protected function getRegions() { $mapper = new Model_RegionMapper(); return $mapper->getFormSelectData(); //this method will try to connect to a database (or get another object that will connect to the database) } I tried copying the example in the PHPUnit documentation, but it doesn't seem to be working. public function setUp() { $stub = $this->getMock('Model_RegionMapper'); $stub->expects($this->any()) ->method('getFormSelectData') ->will($this->returnValue(array('testdata'))); } public function testFoo() { //this will fail $form = new My_Form(); } The test fails because it is trying to find a table in the database that doesn't exist. But I don't want it to connect to the database at all. How do I correctly stub/mock this method so that it doesn't call the database?
