    Hi, I am wondering if its possible to connect a Cisco Unified Communications 500 (at a branch office) to Our main Site´s Nortel BCM as a remote Gateway for VOIP Comunication... I´ve had a little experience with branch office telephony but only with Nortel Techonology. don´t know if the Cisco SBCS will play along the other kids. :P thanks in advance...     From what I can tell this is recent error that has started to occur on my localserver: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10048). My site will work for a while then it will randomly throw this error then start working again. Any advice on how to fix this? I have searched online and most people claim that it is a windows based error which needs a registry fix but I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this issue and has any better advice? Thanks!

    Does anyone know why my WiFi connection suddenly keeps disconnecting, and will not re-connect without a boot? I looked at other questions, but the OS is different and its not regular. Also the only answer there is not useful. I have had this connection for about 2 weeks with no problems, but suddenly, yesterday, it happened a few times and today it has happened at least 8 times so far.   • Can I connect two routers to one switch?

    I want to connect two routers to a switch which will then be connected to a modem. Now as far as I know a switch does not do network translation and this won't work with one IP address. So I bought two addresses at my ISP. Attached is a simple schematic that explains what I want to do. Is there any additional configuration needed on either of the routers (Linksys WRT54GL) to make this work or will it "Just Work"?

    My laptop connects via a wire into the modem fine and it works without any problems but it wont connect to it wirelessly, when I've taken it out places it connects fine in wifi area's! Also my son has his Wii connected wirelessly to it from his room upstairs without any problems, so I'm not sure where the problem lies, it hasn't worked since we got the modem it did on our old one and phoning Sky is just a waste of time they dont seem to know either and I just keep getting passed round departments repeating myself!

    Maybe someone knows a reason for following behaviour: I'm going to add a printer thru the normal printer wizard. At the step where to connect to a shared printer i select browse and take a printer from the printers attached to another host. That won't work. But if i write the complete address (\\host\printer) the printer get attached. Any idea why i cannot select from the list ?

  • Error when trying to connect to Jacorb naming service

    I'm hoping to get some help with this weird problem. We're running the Jacorb name server and I have a simple client that I'm using to try to connect and do awesome CORBA voodoo. The name server is running, but when I try to start my java app, I get a "Connection failure" error (org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE, minor code 201, "caused by java.net.ConnectionException: Connection refused: connect"). Here's the weird part. The error reports that it's trying to connect using the default port 900, but I'm passing in an argument to try to override the port number of the name service to match the one being used by the name server. My java command is like this: java -classpath . HelloClient -Djava.endorsed.dirs="bla bla bla" -Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBClass=org.jacorb.orb.ORB -Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBSingletonClass=org.jacorb.orb.ORBSingleton -DORBInitRef.NameService=corbaloc::localhost:2809/StandardNS/NameServer-POA/_root I also tried the parameters without the first capital D (I've seen it both ways and I don't know the difference). Now, if I put in -ORBInitialPort 2809, then the client does appear to try to connect, but then I get a corba.OBJECT_NOT_EXIST error. I could use any help or advise anyone has.

    Hello I have a xampp 1.7.3 instance running and a MongoDB 1.2.4 server on the same machine. I want to connect them, so I basically have been following this tutorial on php.net, it seems to connect but the cursors are always empty. I don't know what am I missing.
