  • Don't display dynamic query in result

    Hi all, Is it possible to hide a dynamic query from the result sets provided from a Stored Procedure? I am using the @@rowcount of the dynamic query to set a variable that is used to determine whether another query runs or not. The other query is used by code that I cannot change - hence why I am changing the Stored Procedure. The dynamic query returns as the first result set from the Stored Procedure is now the result of the dynamic query which currently is "breaking" the calling code. Thanks in advance

I need this to update view when presenter is changing model. Boxing decimal in object only for making interface is not good idea... maybe somebody have idea how to intrcept value types? I am saying this because when I talked with my teacher, he said that major sites use many languages combined. And he said that a site shouldn't be designed only in PHP. So is it possible to create a good website, not e-commerce, with only html,css, and php?

Now, whenever I open a List or Details view of one of these entities, the cell phone number displays for a moment then disappears. Anyone have any ideas as to the cause of this mysterious behavior?

The concept is this: You have a table in a database and the table has a specified number of columns. However, it has been asked of me by previous clients that there also be a set of dynamic user defined columns that can be added on the fly.   • Orange Brightbox and NO-IP.com

    Strange one here i didnt know where to ask, and i know this is a developer resource but i was hoping with everyones tech know how someone may have a solution for my problem. Ok i had an orange livebox before and in the dynamic dns settings it had no-ip.com as a drop down option with login variables to update my account with a dynamic ip address. This worked great for years. However my livebox died and i now have a orange brightbox, and this doesnt have no-ip.com as a login update option for dynamic dns on my router. Does any one have any idea how i can get my domain to point to my home server with a dynamic ip address ideally for free? This is merely for testing and to have a backup server for my main remote server.

  • a loading screen for a c# wpf listbox

    I'm using a list box where there are on average about 500 thumbnails (items) that can be sorted and searched. Since I'm using default databinding and search descriptors (which I've heard are slow due to reflection) the list takes a noticeable pause of a few seconds loading, sorting, and searching (the list dynamically updates based on the contents of the search box so the first one or two letters typed are really slow). I don't think I can fully do away with reflection give the timeframe for the project, and speed isn't super essential, but I'd like some kind of graphical indication of the delay so it doesn't confuse the user. How could I do something like a website video loading screen where the listbox grays out and some kind of loading circle indicates it's processing until the list is ready? Or even just grayed out with the words "Loading..." for a few seconds could work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!!!

    How do I show a loading picture and/or message to the user ? If possible, would I like to know how to make it full screen with grey-dimmed background. Kinda like when viewing the large picture from some galleries (sorry, no example link). Currently do I add a CSS class which has the image and other formating, but its not working for some reason.     Hi guys, In Safari and other browsers, there is a bar that would indicate the percentage of the loading progress, and I, myself, trying to implement something similiar on iPhone, when loading some content in UIWebView, I would like the app to indicate the percentage of the page being loaded. I tried some google search and realize we could use NSURLConnection to read only the header and get the Content-Length ( but don't know how to, I read the Apple's NSURLConnection docs but probably I missed something ... ). And the size ( kb ) which UIWebView had loaded, seem like UIWebView don't support it for the public API... I hope this would be complete in some other ways than I thought, so if you have any ideas, please throw it out, thanks for your patient reading. P.S : I could just show an Activities Indicator for users with the long loading progress actions of the UIWebView but I just want to go further with the loading percentage bar :). Regards.

    Hi guys, I'm creating a gallery of images pulled in via a twitter image hosting service, and I want to show a loading graphic before they are displayed, but the logic seems to be failing me. I'm trying to do it the following way: <ul> <li> <div class="holder loading"> </div> </li> <li> <div class="holder loading"> </div> </li> <li>...</li> <li>...</li> </ul> Where there "loading" class has an animated spinner set as it's background image. JQuery: $('.holder').each(function(){ var imgsrc = http://example.com/imgsrc; var img = new Image(); $(img).load(function () { $(this).hide(); $(this).parent('.holder').removeClass('loading'); $(this).parent().append(this); $(this).fadeIn(); }) .error(function () { }).attr('src', imgsrc); }); Which isn't working - I'm not sure that the logic is correct and how to access the "holder" from inside the img.load nested function. What would be the best way to build this gallery so that the images display only after they've been loaded?
